Clarendon Hotel in Lancaster

Fantastic stay as always. Warm greeting like a visit to family. Room spotless as are all areas in hotel. Staff are all wonderful and remember me from previous visits. Excellent Clarendon see you all soon.

Only stayed for one night, we found this hotel comfortable and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel also has very accomodating and free car parking right next to the hotel.

Had a lovely stay here. Great value for money, room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast had a great variety of food and all the staff were very friendly

Lovely hotel. Clean with friendly staff. Well cooked breakfasts. Although a hand grip on bathroom wall to aid getting out of the bath would be handy and larger towels.

Our room was the clarendon suite on the 2nd floor the room was spacious spotlessly clean and had a great sea view the staff were all friendly and helpful. We will be rebooking for later in the year.

I have stayed at the clarendon Hotel multiple times, the room was ok and location was great also, my only down fall is.. I went in to the Davy Jones locker on the Saturday as I usually do however the hole attitude within the place was gone? Last time I came to stay there were two lovely ladies behind the bar, full of laughter and fun. One lady with dark hair and glasses I think? She seemed to be in charge she was so bubbly and fun we came back in with the feeling we were going to have a great night again, she made our experience so fun? Why has it changed so much seemed like an Old mans working club such a shame! Was bored wouldn't recommend going

As part of the Morris minor group who stay at this hotel each year just for one night, I must say the hotel has gone through major improvements over the years. All the rooms are modern and comfortable and food served there is excellent. I have just one small criticism and that is the hot food being served on cold plates. Hopefully we will see you next year. Good value hotel, lovely staff and realky nice breakfast.

Did not stay overnight but spent a few hours relaxing and having drinks chatting within our group. The staff is very nice and friendly. The hotel is very comfortable atmosphere and cosy. They do not serve food.

Lovely friendly little B&B hotel. Restaurant bar inside hotel and separate bar underneath.

Room. Clean and well presented. Minor observation, room became a little stuffy. Laid out well and supported by appropriate items in support of a comfortable stay. Location. Excellent location, generally quiet, with excellent views across the bay. Staff. Good knowledge where needed, very efficient arrival process. food. None taken within hotel, but excellent opportunities in the proximity.

Staff polite and room was very clean. Only downside was it seems one of the rooms opposite to ours and it sounded like an angle grinder was being used. The smell and noise came into our room where I was resting. Will be a lovely hotel when finished ...original fittings are stunning

Lovely reasonably priced hotel , clean ,& friendly staff plus dog friendly, comfortable beds slept well

We had a 24 hour stop over and chose the Clarendon. We had 2 rooms. Both were spotlessly clean and with comfortable beds. Parking on site was free and the beach front location was perfect. We enjoyed long walks along the promenade and on the beach. Good options for eating out close at hand. Check in was quick and straight forward. Whilst the hotel could do with a bit of an upgrade it was perfect for our overnight stay. Breakfast was good but somewhat spoilt by only offering instant coffee - even filter coffee would have been preferable.

Stay here on numerous occasions in the past whilst visiting family. Both in winter and summer. Comfortable. clean and reasonably priced. Large car park which is now reserved for residents only, big plus on before when anybody was using the car park.

Lovely clean hotel great size room very reasonably priced. Staff were helpful.

A real pleasure to visit once again and we can not wait to return..all the staff so friendly and very helpful nothing is ever a problem..we absolutely love it here hopefully get to return soon 😀

The second time we"ve stayed at the Clarendon, having stayed at numerous hotels around Morecambe this hotel is far the best value for money. Its a large hotel on the sea front with lovely views of Morecambe bay and the lake district in the distance. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful in every way. The breakfast is cooked fresh and is very good. The large bar at side of reception closes at 10.30 but there is a cellar bar downstairs that stays open while 12.00pm. I would highly recomend this hotel to anybody and it wont be long before we"ll be back

Went for a short stay. Hotel great and on the promenade and beach. Good location short walk to festival market and Eric Morecambe statue and some great dog friendly pubs. The hotel is dog friendly for small/medium dogs. We had a family room which was great. Pity the view out of the rear window wasn't great but appreciate you can't do much about it. Good car park with security cameras. Staff were great and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice for cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, croissant and cooked breakfast and particularly liked the choices of fried egg or scrambled or omelette. Would stay again and would recommend.

Lovely hotel, pleasant staff, ample parking and in a great location

Stayed in a twin room, it's was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy with a reminder to enter car registration for car park. We had room only so can't comment on breakfast but this was offered to us at an extra cost. Our only problems, albeit slight, were we could hear people moving around in the hallway and in the room above and the shower didn't have much power. Bonus was there's a bath. The hotel itself was very clean with beautiful period features. Will definitely return if we go to Morecambe

Hotel right on the sea front Budget hotel updated rooms and great breakfast If you’re expecting the ritz this isn’t for you ! Parking is free when you register your car at reception Overall a lovely cheap place to stay ideal for a budget accommodation if your visiting the lakes
