We have visited the restaurant twice & on each occasion enjoyed the food & atmosphere. Aisha was a wonderful host & made sure we were looked after & nothing was too much trouble. The chaat bombs & mango kulfi went down an absolute treat……delicious! Definitely will be coming back again & recommend this highly.

The family had breakfast here before our flight from Manchester. 10/10 in every aspect. We reserved a table in advance which was a good idea, the only table free at 10:-15 was our reserved table, the place had been open 15 minutes!! Delicious food, fantastic staff......say no more!!

We go to the tearooms often, but for the first time I had the smashed avocado for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. They were out of the sourdough bread but the wholemeal was just as good! And such good value, with the smiliest of young waitresses! They were very busy indeed, but we didn't have to wait long. An absolute gem in our village with Emma's delicious homemade cakes too! Super

Please, please put more bar staff being the bar. One person working the bar upstairs on nye is crazy. I've been in before and downstairs you'll have like 2 people on the bar on a weekend, 3 if we're lucky and even then it's not enough. Seen more bar staff working a dead night in a pub.

Finally revisited after a long time & ordered my usual meatballs & my friend had a halloumi baguette. They take card payments now, which they didn't use to pre-pandemic & the waiter was a tad snarky when we asked if they did. Food was served quickly & freshly-made. The meatballs could do with more seasoning & the side salad wasn't the best, but the chips were nice, hot & crisp. Overall, Konak hasn't changed much. It's still a popular place for lunch.

I like this place for the odd buy - like to get something that I wouldn't find elsewhere- but just for that really. I also like it's cosy atmosphere and the fact that there are some rare items. I also particularly like the options at the bakery and the different breads available. The focaccia is really nice and we have bought it two times so far. Some of the salads are nice as well, like the tabbouleh and the butternut squash one. Things I think need improvement: . Some prices are shockingly high- like ice cream is £8 ish for a tub. A bottle of orange juice is also nearly £6, 2 chicken tikka skewers are £12, £12 for a practically mini new york cheesecake. Anyway, as you can see some of the prices don't make sense. . The bakery section is the only place really that has affordable options. The prices in this section are average, like £2.50 for a cupcake, and £3.50 for a chocolate tiffin, is expected nowadays. . I think since this is the farm and they produce some of their own products, they should also be selling their own ice cream, milk, eggs, like many other farms (As I could see another farm's branding on the ice cream tub). We came here for the cafe as well, but unfortunately it's been closed. We were told it will open in 2026. The plan for the new place seems cool though. The customer service was good both times we visited too. All in all, I will be back here for the occasional buy, but I think unless you have a million pounds, you need to pick and choose what you buy so it doesn't add up to £200. I do like to support independent businesses though to where I can, so I am giving this place four stars. I do feel like there is still, regardless, not many places like here in Wilmslow and it is quite unique.

From the street, you’d be forgiven thinking Easy Fish was just a fishmongers in a row of shops. Walk in and you quickly realise that this isn’t “just” a fishmongers, albeit a really good one. Round the back of the shop is a casual restaurant. We haven’t been for quite a while but spotted on the website that they have a short, well priced lunch menu - just five starters and the same mains, at six quid for the former, sixteen for the latter. They used to have a second branch in Wilmslow but that didn’t last toolong and it closed earlier this year So, to start, there’s a classic prawn cocktail – generous serving of prawns, salad and Marie Rose sauce. And, on the other plate, a small filet of smoked mackerel, served warm and accompanied by a dollop of chorizo “jam” – an underwhelming dollop of not very flavoursome red stuff For mains there was a leek and parmesan risotto, topped with a well cooked fillet of smoked haddock. And a classic, and very nicely executed, moules frites. Again a generous portion in a well flavoured mariniere broth, enriched by a splash of cream. Nice crisp chips and two hunks of warm bread. And mayo for dunking was offered and accepted. I could have been back in Belgium! Decent lunch all round. And we stopped in the shop and bought tuna and a couple of mackerel.
