Excellent restaurant quality food,always hot and never gives me indigestion unlike other places… our go to place for Indian food.

We have tried quite a few of the main dishes and they are better than we have tried in many Indian restaurants. The menu is extensive so if you want something a little different it is catered for. Premises are also very clean. Highly recommend.

Indian cuisine would not normally be my first choice but I tried here as my family out voted me and I am so glad we did. It is absolutely immaculately clean , lots of choice, Si the owner is so nice and friendly as are the other staff members and the food is delicious- not greasy as my previous experience from other places. Meals are a good size and really fresh 👌

Simply the best Indian takeaway in the area. The online ordering system is ideal. All my family love the food including my 88 year old Mum-my daughter who lives down South said there’s nothing comparable where she lives so it’s always on the agenda when she visits! Great quality food, well presented & plenty of it all served by the lovely staff.

Our favourite takeaway in wilmslow , chutney massala is delicious and great value for money. We’ve been getting takeaway from them for nearly 4 years since we moved here and I feel like it gets better each year. If you collect it’s usually ready in less than 30 mins :-)

Amazing food and they had a gluten free option which was a bonus! Had the mixed grill, big portion, cooked fresh and taste was fantastic. Been twice now in 3 days, the guys there are very friendly and welcoming.

We ordered food tonight via their website at 6.30, at 8.20 it had still not arrived despite having a confirmation the order had been received and having an order number, we rang to ask how long it will be to be told our order wasn’t received and it will be another 30 minutes taking it to 2.5hrs Since the order was placed. First time ordering from here after it being highly recommended. Very disappointed right now.

I knew already that it was cash payment only so turned up to collect with the correct amount as listed on the menu.On collection I was told he would have to charge an additional £2 for my king prawn dish as there is a prawn shortage. He was quite rude and abrupt.I told the man at the counter I had only brought the correct money and he pointed me to a cash machine across the road. I left the shop in disgust and decided to take my custom elsewhere. Cash only in a pandemic is bad enough but there is absolutely no excuse for the manner in which he taled to me.

Ordered online - unable to pay online however order went through- it then became apparent they only take cash! Rang up to query this, chap abruptly confirmed and cancelled my order at my request, no apology or explanation. Ridiculous they only accept cash in this day and age and in a pandemic where everyone is being encouraged to use card payments! The customer service was severely lacking.

Ordered a takeaway and was extremely disappointed by the chap taking my order. I clearly stated my order whilst in the takeaway itself, I returned to collect the order and returned home to find a curry missing and a starter which we didn’t order included. My husband politely returned to the takeaway shop with the unwanted starter and according to him, was told essentially that it was my fault because 1. The chap had put the order receipt on the front desk for me to check (an absolute lie) and 2. it was my fault for not checking the receipt that was laid out for me (I couldn’t because it wasn’t there, nor was the order read ever back to me). The chap then took the starter we didn’t order off my husband (I hope it was disposed of) and my husband said that the chap implied he’d do us a favour by charging us £5 on top of what we originally paid, for the curry we originally ordered, ignoring the inconvenience this had now caused and the fact that we already paid for a starter we didn’t ask for. My husband being the polite man he is, accepted this and paid the £5 for our missing curry only to find out that were being shortchanged.In fairness the food was excellent but the lies told to my husband about the receipt being made available to me, being left shortchanged/ out of pocket, the inconvenience and the fact they only take cash is a real put off. The customer service is shockingly poor, we really wanted to support this local business but felt let down and lied to. Speaking to my parents they have had similar experiences with missing food and terrible customer service so I know it wasn’t just us.We won’t be back!

Came recommended to us by a friend and so i read some reviews and decided to give them a try. WOW we were not disappointed , amazing food and plenty in a portion, very pleasant guy on the reception, ( Si ) i think is his name. Will be returning .

Waited two hours for my home delivery. Rang to find out it had been received but not printed. Told I wasn't going to be charged!! Rubbish

I ordered over the phone but when I went to pay (contactless) and collect, the owner (i assume) said they are a "cash only business" and don't accept cards!I have not used cash for six months now and did not have any cash to pay.Any way the meal looked packaged up nicely and smelt good. Just couldn't pay and collect it.Don't understand in these times why they are not accepting card and contactless means of payment.

I’d heard a few good reviews about Chutney Massala, so I thought I’d give it a try. I will only comment on what I tried as it might have been a one off, the Rogan Josh was very bland and didn’t have much substance a few tomatoes and an odd red pepper, the poppadoms were thin and quite hard and the mango chutney had a peachy flavour, it’s was an extremely busy Saturday night and my order had got lost, so had to cook in between other orders so I might just have been unlucky.

Had our first takeaway from Chutney Masala last night and we were so impressed! The chicken was cooked beautifully and in really tasty sauces. Wait time was only 20 mins as we collected, which was amazing. Will be getting our curries from here from now on!

We have ordered a few times online now and the food has always been delivered at the time requested and if not they call you straight away once ordering online to inform you. Mostly however this is always on time. Their customer service is excellent and Si is always helpful, polite and pleasant. The food is fresh and hot on arrival. Had first takeaway since lockdown. Managed well, social distancing adhered to except it’s cash only ??Food was very good, unfortunately , because they are so busy , the onion Bhajis were cold so they’d gone soggy. Next time I’ll pop my oven on before I collect to heat them back up.Small problem, understandable, easily resolved.Otherwise, excellent food.

I have been using The Chutney Masala for the past 2 years. The staff are most friendly, you almost feel like part of the family.The food is of the highest quality. They have a fantastic menu and never fail to meet the highest standards.I can thoroughly recommend as the best Indian Takeaway in Wilmslow.

Been getting takeaway here for last 5yrs since I moved to the area and can’t fault it! Fantastic food, great service and never had a bad meal. Menu includes all of the old favourites and some great specialties, and very reasonably priced too. Love the fact that you can see the food being made as well. If you haven’t tried it, take the plunge..you won’t be disappointed

First time ordering, saw on the website new app.... noooo just a gif. Phoned up after reading all the good reviews and was told it would be around an hour later, and it was. Prime food delivery, it was hot but tasted no different to any cheap Indian, I ordered the sizzling chicken tikka and was asked if it was off the bone and I said yes (if I wanted it on the bone I would have ordered tandoori chicken. Tasteless chicken and tasteless vindaloo sauce I have had tastier Bhuna, very disappointed go to eastern revive for a better curry, more expensive but at least you enjoy what you have paid for.

Very good food with good portions, staff seem friendly. Order early to avoid long waiting timed especially if wanting delivery.

Probably the best Indian takeaway food in the North West. As a lover of this style of food and being an avid creator of Indian cuisine, I can honestly say this is a fantastic takeaway. Always helpful, always superb food. Sometimes takes a while to receive your order but I see that as a testament to its popularity. Definitely recommend this place.

Had a takeaway on our wedding anniversary, our first time eating from here but WOW!! Absolutely stunning food, impeccably clean premises and fantastically friendly staff! I’ve raved to everyone about how impressed I was with the standard of the food, chicken was so succulent and soft in our meals and everything else was of incredibly high standards! I will definitely be ordering from here again! Best Indian I have ever had!!

We eat the great food these guys rustle up regularly and they have always been able to meet our needs from a kebab for one to a feast for 12!

New to the area my partner and I made an order at Chutney Massala. We are both extremely impressed. Food is very tasty and was freshly cooked in front of us. Great staff.

Having previously written a glowing review about Chutney Massala we were so upset with our experience last week. We ordered food at 7pm and did not receive it till 9:30pm, upon ringing to ask where our food was we were just told they were busy and we would have to wait. When our food arrived, we realised we were missing a meal which was super frustrating after waiting 2 and a half hours for our food to come. In fairness, they did send the delivery driver back and within another 20 minutes we all had our food. The food itself was lukewarm as it had clearly been sat for a long time and was completely tasteless. Wholeheartedly understand that they were busy due to it being a weekend, but if they cannot cope with the demand and supply good food they should stop taking orders until it has calmed down. Unfortunately, will not be returning any time soon

A big thank-you to Sy and his team for the excellent work putting together the menu and food for my birthday party. The food was fantastic as ever and there was high praise from all my guests. I have had takeaways from Chutney Massala since they opened in Wilmslow some years ago, and have always been impressed with the quality of the food no matter what day of the week.

Last night we ordered a meal for two and we were so disappointed in fact most of it went in the bin. Both the jalfrezi and korma were very bland, in fact the korma was the worst I’ve ever had (and I’ve had plenty of curries having worked in India over the years!)

When we moved to Wilmslow we got lucky with Chutney Massala. It's authentic and truly tasty. Nothing is ever left over. I'd recommend it to family and friends. The workers are friendly.

Saturday staff are good we’re really helpful would go again, nice food good prices quick service 10/10

Having tried many good (and plenty of bad) Indian takeaways in the local and Stockport area i can honestly say that in my opinion Chutney Massala is by far the best around. Exceptional food and always friendly staff. I now wouldn’t go anywhere else for an indian takeaway.

got a meal from here last week, pretty busy and a bit of a wait but had time for a drink in the farmers arms next door while the food was prepared. very impressed lovely onion bhajis and chicken dopiaza. good size portions and not overly pricey.

I always get the chef to make me a surprise dish, nothing is ever a problem and the owner is genuinely helpful. Can’t recommend enough! Well done

When they opened originally, they didn't do takeaway so we never bothered with them. Once they started to deliver and we ordered from them- just wow! Food is gorgeous, really great. Would recommend to anyone.

Ordered a take away on the way home from a day trip to The Lake District - easy ordering and good recommendations. All was ready within 20 mins. Delicious food and friendly service plus good value too.

This take away is now so good, if you don@t order early you may have to wait. but believe me it is worth the wait.

Absolutely amazing takeaway right in the heart of Wilmslow, great service and the best takeaway in the area, I myself have had several dishes from the menu and every time have been more than happy, staff really happy to help if you are not sure what to get they will ask you what you like and will do a dish specially for your liking, great food, great staff, absolute asset to Wilmslow.

This is my 2nd takeaway from here - and I will be back again! I honestly cannot fault it at all, food is extremely fresh, tasty and full of flavours - flavours you don’t usually get in your dishes, absolutely faultless and reasonably priced too, you can see the food being cooked and the 5 star hygiene rate certainly reflects on that too - I have had the chefs special dishes and they were outstanding.

I came to this restaurant late night. Staff was very quick to accomodate my order and made the food really well. Definately recommend!!

Good initial service and delivery but we were so disappointed with the finished product. The biryani was really bland and lacked any spice and the veg curry was very watery and tasteless. We normally go to a different restaurant for our take-a-ways but thought we would try Chutney Massala given the excellent reviews but unfortunately will not be returning.

My husband and I will get take aways from CM pretty regularly and I have to say we’ve never be disappointed with any of the dishes we’ve had.

I order my takeout last night half chicken tandoori, boiled rice (given pilau rice) and jelfarazi sauces, when i open the container it wasn’t jelferazi and contained few onions, 2 piece of green pepper and most shocking is the AMOUNT OF FOOD COLOURING THEY ADD IN IT! At first i thought its the chilli paste so I ate by my fingers and the stains remained on my fingers pretty red. Being a chef adding edible colouring chemical in cooking is totally UNHEALTHY! The chicken taste slightly weird textures, i ate partly of the chicken leg and couldn’t finish it but i just had rice, not long after i finish me dinner i had grumbles in my belly and it went through me fast! So Loo for nearly 1 hour!

Asked if what I asked for was vegan friendly to hear the response "don't worry about it" assuming that it was... Only to find out on a later date that my previous choices contained milk and anima fat. Not a huge deal to me but angry at the fact they lied to get a sale, I could have had an allergy or condition.

I've been spoilt by very good indian take-aways. This place is ok. They use a red tomato base for Jalfrezi, which I am not not that keen on. Also, the Naan bread is very doughy, and a bit taste-less. Overall our meals have been ok, but just not great.

Had ordered Aloo parathas, but was shocked to see that it only had yellow layer inside, but was not able to find mashed aloo. So called them and informed about it, manager and chef denied to give new paratha. And said eat what is given.

Chutney Massala is by far the best Indian takeaway in the area. We have bought our food here most weeks since they opened and have never been disappointed. The quality of the dishes and the service from the helpful staff is outstanding. They are always happy to advise when i want to try a different dish. Why go anywhere else!

Everything was excellent until the main, which on first impression looks good, but when tasted the Rogan Josh and chicken tikka massalla didn’t seem to have all the flavours you expected, overall okay

Having ordered from here in the past successfully, it was an easy choice for a takeaway. Ordered from my menu at home, menu price £11.50 headed down to curry house at appointed time, could see my order but the place was bedlam. I waited further and was finally acknowledged. Asked if I wanted a menu, I declined as I thought mine was up-to-date then charged £13.50. So I'm thinking prices must have increased so as I left I grabbed a menu and checked the prices outside. It was what I thought, £11.50, so feeling brave I walked back in and challenged the manager. It was because I'd ordered king prawns and they'd gone up, wasn't I told...no I wasn't, so I said it's misleading. Looking stressed he told me it was a small business and I should know king prawn prices go up. I tend to go by what's advertised in the menu unless it says POA. Literally throwing £1.50 at me (yes still didn't add up I walked off). So my prawn dish is 20% higher than on the menu so what did I get. Well my carton lid had been written on then scribbled through so anyone knows. On inspection it looked like a container of luminous sauce, such was the unnatural shade of pink that greeted me and at first glance seemed just that. Poking around I found some prawns and in total I got 7 with a riculous amount of sauce. The garlic naan I ordered was okay but nothing was hot so it got the once over in the microwave. They may profess to being a small business but there's plenty of staff and why do they only take cash! One woman collecting with me had an order over £50 and only had a card with her and was promptly directed over the road to a cashpoint. I wont be returning as it was most definitely not the same as my previous visit.  It doesn't cost to be polite and that old saying the customer is always right certainly doesn't stand in this establishment. Don't get me wrong it's busy so it's obviously popular but it wasn't a good experience for me.

Living in Spain I hanker for curry when I return to the UK. So sometimes mediocrity suffices.

This place is immaculately clean and serves really varied and tasty Indian dishes. Recommended for Wilmslow takeaway (and I think they still deliver locally).

Was first visit to Wilmslow but my partner has been there many times and my first time at the Chutney Mossala. I have been to many, many Indians all over the UK and Spain as I live in Spain but this has to be the best tasting Indian food I have ever tried. It was that good we had one Friday and Sunday night as we were only there for three nights. It a must for anyone, the flavor and tastes were amazing. The only downfall was the guy that served us on the first night was pretty rude and didn’t make us feel welcome as we went in at 22.40 at night I guess although they close at 23.00. Like I said the food was that good it didn’t stop us going back two nights later even though they were rude to us

Without doubt the best Indian takeaway I have eaten, and I've had a few! The quality and taste never disappoints. Always cooked fresh to order and in the open plan kitchen. The flavours in their 'Special dishes' are superb and the same quality with each visit. Highly recommend a takeaway from here. Would be useful to get a card machine!

As vegetarians, we like the fact that you could get veggie versions of many of the standard curry options e.g. Korma, Dhansak and Madras. There was also a good selection of vegetarian side dishes which could also be ordered as mains. Loved the decor! Quality good: will definitely order from here again!

Have lived in Wilmslow for 19 years and have tried all the local Indian restaurants and takeaways. This is the best because it is consistently delivers excellent food time after time. There are also some additional interesting and varied dished on the menu dhaniya chicken with coriander and lime. Syed the owner is very passionate about his business and requests feedback from customers - a sign they are striving for excellence. Very glad they are on our doorstep and will be visiting again soon.

This Indian takeaway is so so good. We never think twice when fancying an Indian. Reasonably priced huge portions and always hot and tasty. The staff are so pleasant and helpful. Wouldn't go anywhere else for an Indian !!

The only Indian that will deliver to Mobberley and the food is all freshly cooked, high quality, fragrant and on time. The garlic Jafrani is outstanding with fresh chilies and coriander. Better than the other two Indian restaurants in Wilmslow!
