The best restaurants serving Default food in Stockton-on-Tees North East

23/08/2023 Arrived at Greggs today around 11. I have never been so appalled by a manager in my whole entire life. Shouting and yelling at a young lassie in the middle of a store. I have been into this Greggs many of times. Also, been served by this young lassie nearly every day. She is always polite i can never fault her, but by coming in today seeing how the staff are treated it made my stomach churn, I immediately turned around and walked straight out! Don’t think I’ll be back, won’t be giving any of my money to this store no longer. ABSOLUTELY APPALLED!! Just hope the young lassie is fine, no one deserves to be treated like that.

Girl on phone is so rude.the food was so cold I will never ever going to order here again. Waste of money and time.

Recently had pizza from here (twice now) where some of the meat on the pizza tasted off. Either the the meat was old or cheap quality. I'm a big meat eater and know what fresh meat should taste like. It's a shame because this place used to be good. I wonder if they changed supplier...? I'll get my pizza elsewhere from now on.

Staff were friendly, but the place was extremely unorganised, dirty and never not finished a coffee before, shame as this place could be amazing!

Went through drive 09/05/2025 ordered on app , once i had code the whole system went down and was told i needed to come in store to complete order. I did as request and the assistant said that the order hadn't gone through.So i need to re order to which they then took payment again, i called the store to complain and was told you need to take it up with head office in london. I explained that this wasnt a very good resolution as this was not by fault. She then said we have had IT issues for a while and thats just the way it is. i asked to speak with manager and asked for their name to which she became very angry and said i dont need to give anyones name and she had given the details of what to do end of. i said your customer service is appauling to which she replied their is no more we can do , i said i would come into store if i get no response saturday to which she replied their is no need to threaten anyone and but the phone down, This is a multi million pound company that doesn't give a monkey's about the customers This is the worst Mcdonalds in Teeside.

Just ordered two meals with drinks to be delivered (we are less than 3 miles from the place). Food took 40 mins to arrive and was freezing cold. The paper bag looked like a tramp had been using it to disguise a bottle of meths he was swigging from. The drinks were completely missing. Worst of it is that there is no recourse for complaint. They send you a delivery drivers number but that was not recognised. There is no answer at Wolviston Service McDonald’s on either of the number they have listed. Total rubbish. At least dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask!

Arrived and ordered promptly but then waited 20 minutes for food as deliveries seemed to take priority. No less than 10 whilst I waited. Staff were polite and working hard but were under pressure due to the extreme amount of delivery orders. Surely serve the customers who have actually made an effort to come in store. Better still look after existing staff and employ dedicated delivery only prep workers. I was one of 4 people in store waiting ages. This is a head office issue not a branch issue.

Landlord sniffing substances aswelll as the bar staff - would never come back l. Horrible services - rude to customers and overpriced

Not one customer in store drive through drink machine broke but if we want a drink we would have to come in store to pour ourselves a drink. I’d understand if the were busy ! But not one customer. Rubbish. Customer service

Disgraceful, parked in disabled parking for 1h 24m to use the restaurant to eat our meal, not an unreasonable time, but have been fined for parking and charged £60 parking fee... Won't be using KFC again he or anywhere. Absolute disgrace to charge for parking when in restaurant eating.

Entire place was a mess it was disgusting and disrespectful and when asked that had not cleaned it up and refused and told us all to move. Yet the entire place was a mess. I honestly wish I hadn’t seen it worst night of my life. All that bacteria.

Went to order food and the lad looked over at his colleague and rolled his eyes, shocking customer service skills, after doing our order he sighed he was so rude. Called Bailey. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

best food i ever had slushies on full power icecream whiopped nicely and absolutely amazing service highly reccomended

Been going to this cafe now for a few weeks and to say it going down its is There on staff on the ordering chart not work for 3 weeks now The breakfast are not that good now Think the manger not not care as it a Pitty as I been to a few cafes over the years and this one is not the best one

Took a friend her to celebrate a milestone birthday. I have no grumble with staff or the service, staff were all lovely and our server was very attentive and friendly. Personally, I think the hotel is looking a little tired so not as luxurious as I’d hoped and for £28 per person the afternoon tea was not that exciting. 5 fingers of different flavoured sandwiches, standard fillings and a selection of tiny cakes and savouries that didn’t blow me away. We had a lovely afternoon and were well looked after but I’ve had nicer afternoon teas for a fraction of the price in slightly less “premium” locations.
