Khans Fish Bar & Pizzeria in Stockton-on-Tees

I don't leave many poor reviews, but this place was truly awful. How it is still in business, is beyond me - I can only assume it caters to tourists (like us) who will never return. We ordered a simple 4 coffees and 4 cakes. The coffee was OK - it took a while to come, but when we got it, it was OK. We had to go back to ask for our cakes and specify which (despite fact we had already ordered AND paid). One of us had a lemon drizzle cake - for some reason they got 2 thick slices - looked nice, but was tasteless - just tasted of sugar, no lemon. Another had caramel cheesecake - similar - tasteless. 2 of us had caramel and apple pie - for the first time in my life, I left most of it on my plate - it was not exactly unpleasant, but texture / taste were quite disappointing and I chose to leave it. As did my wife. Most of the "lemon drizzle" cake was also left. Service was chaotic, inefficient and a little discourteous. The interior was a bit grubby and the toilets were dirty (urinals blocked and hand-drier broken). No customers were allowed to sit iside for some reason. This little lot (reminder - 4 coffees and 4 very poor cakes) came to £38. I'd say that was £25 over what it was worth. I suggest you avoid (and I wish we did).

Really tasty and spicy chicken kebabs and a thin base cheesy garlic bread . Really nice for a Tuesday night tea.

Always go to get my wife a pizza

We arranged to meet for my granddaughter’s 2nd birthday . We arrived in time for our 5.15pm booking . We were met by Laura who soon realised that we had a birthday cake which she took to give us after the meal without us having to ask. The table service was excellent and Laura was a key factor in our enjoyment. We rate Al Fornos very highly and the was another star performance.

Came here with friends.we were greated by a lovely young girl who was really polite and friendly.she took our order and we didnt have 2 wait too long before our food arrived.we all had different variations of the parmesan and we were not disappointed, the food was gorgeous, great atmosphere.would definately recommend
