Chips were cold, although swapped without fuss, but what have they done to the chips/fries, Burger King fries used to be so much better than McDonald's but they've changed them for tasteless sticks, not good, Chicken Burgers were really tasty and fresh, staff helpful, bring back the old fries and it is a 10/10.

If you are looking for fast food then this is Definitely NOT!!! the place to go. Myself, husband and child went to the drive through on our way home to get our child something to eat. 1 car was before us and it still took the staff 15 minutes to get 1 portion of fries. (my husband and myself had already eaten) our child will only eat certain things. The guy behind the counter looked lost, no please,thank you or anything. How Burger King manage to stay open amazes me, you might think that it was a one off but like I said earlier my child will only eat certain things and he prefers Burger King fries so we have been numerous times and it's still the same every single time. Believe me if my child would eat fries from other places then we wouldn't come back... Our child has Autism that's why he's so fussy, it's not just because our child is spoilt

Very disappointed. Waited for around ten minutes in the queue, ordered food. Went to collection window, specifically asked for sauces and was told they would be in the bag. Picked the order up, quick check as best you can when there are two meals with chips in one bag. Drove into the main car park to eat. My wife’s chicken sandwich was just about completely cold, there were no sauces in the bag and there were no serviettes to wipe hands with either. Won’t be getting anything from there again

Absolutely delicious.Only joking tasted like a dead rat. The staff looked as if they had been dragged out a grave and half beaten to death. I proceeded to order a whopper meal and when it arrived I was surprised to have found a used johnny in my burger. Didn’t taste terrible , used johnny was easily the best part of the meal. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy chewing on used johnnys.

I attended this venue with my son for tea, the drive through had four cars in but still took twenty minutes to get served, I was not told the price when I placed my order, I went to the first window to pay for two large whopper meals £14, I thought this was pricey but I didn't mind as long as the food was nice, I was not given or offered a receipt, I took the meal home approximately five minute drive away, the food was cold and as you can see by the picture was nothing like the advertised food, I'm not surprised that this restaurant closed the last time it was in town I cannot see it lasting long this time either with the extortionate prices poor service and sub standard food presentation, for a few pounds more I can go to a restaurant on the marina and have far better food. The website does not allow feedback either otherwise I'd have complained.

Went in and made my order and stood and waited right next to the counter, every one else was getting by their food and I was still waiting. My mates had got their food and nearly finished it. I actually ended up waiting for 30 mins or more and still nothing at least 10 people who ordered after me had got their orders and some had even eaten their food. So I asked someone where my order was and she replied “I didn’t realise you were waiting” that was it, this actual person had seen me and had looked straight at me at least 5 times and didn’t realise I had ordered? Never even asked what I was waiting for or anything. This just wound me up so I asked for a refund and as I’m stood there complaining the girl gives me a sarky comment to boot. Oh my days I’ve never even felt so little in my life. I ended up waiting for 30 mins didn’t even get any food and walked out very annoyed. To top it off complained via twitter and no reply. Seems as though they only like making money, have no clue about customer service and don’t really care about the customers, I’m not surprised that they have a bad rating on here. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I ADVISE ANYONE WHO READS THIS TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Visited Friday 1st Nov 2019 approx 3pm' ish ordered the "NEW" Crispy Chicken Burger, that has cheese, what looks like on the picture on the menu board crispy bacon rashers, tomato, onion, cheese, pickles, sauces ect...ect...looks real appetizing!Waited ages - I ordered it with out any sauces or pickles - Just the burger - no chips.It was disgusting the bacon was pre - under - cooked rashers of smoked bacon that must have been taken out of the fridge as it was congealed and cold all stuck together - the cheese was smoked - No onion or tomato in, the crispy chicken was barely warm - it tasted disgusting - i should have complained - but i needed to be in Redcar for 3:45pm for an appointment - so i did not have time to mess on putting in a complaint - and them cooking me a new / fresh one - as it took ages for this one to come. And i think I paid £4:49 - or £4:69. ( The coffee that i ordered earlier on before going in to the pictures 12:50pm approx, just had no flavor like dish washing water colour, but no flavor £3:29 - this isn't good for coffee lovers they like to taste the coffee!)I'll go to their rivals next time!

Decided on this place to eat as my sister hadn’t had it in a while and she chose it. We had tickets to a movie at 4:30 and entered Burger King at 3:20. As I type this at 3:55 we still haven’t received our food and are going to have to leave soon to make our movie.What happened to the service here?I last came here in 2017 and there wasn’t a problem. There was barely 10 people in here but you would have thought they were rammed full.Such a shame. Wouldn’t bother coming again.

This Burger King is a great place to reflect on all the poor decisions that led you to where you currently find yourself. What did you do to deserve this? Why is that lady working behind the counter ignoring you as she talks incessantly into her headset whilst pointedly avoiding eye contact with you, the only patron in the establishment? Is this some kind of candid camera tv show in which the staff are attempting to ignore you as obnoxiously as possible whilst prioritising tasks which probably don’t even need doing last thing on a snowy Sunday evening? Is her aim to make this the most aggravating and drawn out ‘fast-food’ experience of your life?For the sake of clarity, no. No it isn’t. It is a quest of self discipline. How long can you stand there after saying “excuse me?” in the most British way possible whilst the screaming children (and men) try and help you really experience the true culture of Middlesbrough. Screaming, swearing, tracksuits and paradoxically glacial ‘fast food’. Wonderful if you are looking for the experience over the meal itself.

I do prefer the burgers here than the other place, and they are just as good here, but thats the end of the good newsIts problem is it has never been successful, I do not know why, its in a good position and the building has loads of natural light, nice big windows. about 40% of the times its tidy, the bit I sit in is tidy when I am eating and when I leave I have to tidy all the tables in my line of site or I can not eat (people are so lazy)Its other major disadvantage for me is no free refills, so I often leave very thirsty, but I do understand why, if it made more money it could have free refills and have more staff. I feel sorry for the staff and the owner, it needs some money spending on it and a relaunch

Food and drinks were nice. Table clean where we sat but that was as good as it got. The whole place needs a revamp. The toilets were extremely disgusting. Staff were miserable and looked dirty too. We had tried here once before and there were kids riding around inside on scooters unchallenged by staff. Give it a miss.

My girlfriend and I popped in after some evening shopping at Teesside park and wished we'd stayed away. The seating area was freezing cold and the staff were disinterested and struggled to get our order right. My girlfriend ordered a rodeo burger and was told they had stopped doing them despite being advertised on posters around the restaurant and listed on the menu. When ordering we were asked if we would like any condiments and clearly stated mayonnaise, upon the arrival of our food there was none to be seen so I asked again only to be told they didn't have any.

I am not quite sure how this place is still running, in all honesty. The place was littered with rubbish, the tables were horrendously dirty, and the service was ridiculous. To say the employees were moving at the pace of sloths would have been extremely generous. It took 20 minutes for them to take our order (it was not busy) and a further 20 minutes to recieve our order. We sat down after finding a remotely "clean" table (which was still dirty, but was the cleanest of the lot with only a FEW crumbs and leftovers - bork, I know) to find our food was cold, and there was a full meal and drink missing. It took a further 10 minutes for them to sort this out (there was plenty of staff on and this could have been sorted within a minute), for us to then find out they had given us the wrong burger. They gave us the right one in return however it was also cold like the rest of the food. I have worked in restaurants for 4 years and I have never witnessed or endured such poor work ethic and service. The tables were eventually cleared however they were only cleared and not cleaned. They were left with salt, crumbs, and leftovers all over them yet again. Seriously, clean your tables. The hygiene is disgraceful. The fact that you are advertising for staff is laughable. Anyone with a brain would walk in and walk straight back out. The place is grim, cold, dirty, unhygenic, and dated with service to match. You're evidently not keeping to Burger King's standards. If someone from the board came to inspect, I would expect you to be shut down. Such a poor representation of such a well loved, big name company.. a real let down. Burger King food beats Mcdonalds food any day however I would much rather eat from Mcdonalds around the corner. Hot food, speedy service, and clean facilities.

Went in with my 7 year old. It is so grim, in desperate need of refurbishment. It wasn't busy, there were 3 other customers ahead of us. Technically customers should be served in 30 seconds or under, and trust me, with the correct manager and team, it can be achieved. So we should have been served after 90 seconds technically. However it took 20 minutes to get served, then they didn't have items on the menu. Then look at you like you've asked for something ridiculous, like a broiled tennis shoe, no alternatives given. Just 'no, we don't have that'. End of. I used to work for this company in the 90's for 3 years whilst at college, and if we had behaved like the staff in there, we would have been fired! No 'clean as you go' no 'serve the next customer' no 'can we have another member of staff on the tills please' and no 'smile', no 'would you like ketchup? etc.' no 'are you sitting in or taking away?' no 'would you like to go large, dessert' nowt! I hate it when they assume you are taking away, and start bagging up your food. Mystery Shopper would have failed them repeatedly. Granted there wasn't enough staff on shift, but that is not the customer's problem! It is called 'fast food' for a reason. No kids toy in my son's meal, nothing offered, like a bit of ice cream, just accept it and move basically. Disappointed because it used to have a high level of hygiene and customer service. These managers don't care. Well ours did back in the day and now I am older I understand why. The staff look bored, they are slow, nothing is stocked up, bit of the 'sections' are literally cello taped together. The drinks machine wasn't full, the floor was dirty, tables covered, nobody on 'c&a;' duties. The food when it came was decent enough, but that is because I know to order something that is a 'special' something without or extra, so it has to be made fresh. The fries were hot, but again, this was the reason for the wait. They just can't get it right, fries should be down as soon as customers come through the door. They take 2.30 minutes to fry! No leadership, nothing. I was tempted to hop over the counter and deliver the top notch service we did in the 90's. Scruffy, miserable lot. I can see this BK closing down.

I'm sat in Burger King with three very hungry kids after they were served incredibly tiny meals that cost about £6 each. The burgers were very small and certainly did not fill them up. Macdonald's Happy Meals would have been more substantial and better value for money. The whole place was grubby and even though the restaurant was empty, the seven members of staff working had not cleared the tables of previous customers' food. Will stick to Macdonald's next time.

I know it's a fast food restaurant but hey I work hard for my money and if you want it you gotta earn it Visited at lunchtime today.In all the years it has been there this is the first and last Visit No customers and it was lunchtime - that says everythingOn ordering I asked for the King chicken burger meal, how that sounds like a rodeo burger beatsme only when we ordered another one did it become apparent that the guy on the till clearly didn't know his menu and shouted through for another one to be made When correcting the meals the till operator disappeared to the back to tell his supervisor what he had done and the approach from him wasn't much better we reordered the correct burgers with the reply they are the same price anyway and he's only new.We were asked to go sit at the table and they would be brought over to us.Meals were brought to the table and missing side order which he said he would bring them back over. When he came back we had realised that one of the meals was a large one but only a medium one had been brought. The supervisor snatched the fries off the tray and slammed them into the bin as he walked passed it. The main point of this is if the person behind the counter had had some time invested in him instead of which appeared not to be the case the whole experience may have been completely different. As for the supervisor his attitude that we caused him an inconvenience also needs to learn how to give good customer service.Maybe a little training would help

Right ware do I start don't know if I've picked the right restaurant I'm reviewing Teesside retail park took the granddaughter here for her dinner hardly anybody in which was very surprising since there is large cinema nearby but soon to be revealed went to the counter to place our order there was one lady in front of me which seemed forever to get served there was only one member of staff serving I would say it was approximately 20mins from queuing to sitting down the server was very slow in his defence might be due to his training the manager appeared while being served I thought he will get things sorted but no walked around like everything was fine on to the food rubbish Luke warm I had a whopper meal and the granddaughter had plain burger and chips all I can say it filled a hole as we were sat down I watched other people in the que and could see a lot of fed up people all I can say I could have got a table d hote meal quicker definitely won't be going back

Staff never seem to be happy. All appear to be miserable students just waiting for their shift to end. The place is very untidy, tables are never properly cleaned. Floor has always been sticky every time I've went. A lot of years ago the place was nice for food, now it has reduced itself to the greasy poor quality crap served by other fast food restaurants such as McDonald's. I can't say Burger King offers value for money. It's ridiculously overpriced. Don't bother. Go somewhere else.

We visited this outlet whilst at the nearby retail park. To get to BK we needed to pass KFC, TGIF and several other outlets offering 'fast food'. Left them behind...always USED TO prefer BK.The reason this receives even 1 out of 5 is that the person serving us was friendly and efficient.The venue is tired, as they say. The floor secured, metal legged stools are old and corroded. The toilet hadn't been inspected with sufficient scrutiny...wet floor! Tap left running and....... I could dry my hands faster by waving my arms about rather than use the air dryer.The worst part was the scant size of the burger on the bun. Ridiculously small, thin and juiceless! Oh......and the old, sticky tomato ketchup on the side of our tray from previous customers' use....bad!Poor value for moneyI used to like BK over similar offerings...always straight forward, what you see is what you taste......rather than addition if some 'secret' yellow gunk under the burger, or secret family recipe to coat the chicken in the south ;-)I'll need to stop even my rare visits to these places... Eat healthier and secure better V.F.M.....at HOME!

Really needs a refit, when this place first opened it was done out like a 50's diner but that all seems to have gone and its just plane, boring and fairly tatty. Visited today on route to the cinema. Restaurant food lying in the floor under the table and décor in a poor state worn, neon lights not working, toilets were smelly and had not been cleaned, The food was cold and the burgers tasted awful they had obviously been cooked a while and left. The service was poor and I had to ask a member of staff behind the counter if she was serving despite the restaurant being relatively quiet. All in all a dreary poor quality experience not good at all BK despite being a fan in the past.

We arrived and was served promptly, the food is good , however the place looks a mess, half the neon signs don't work, chipped and broken tiles on the floors, varnish worn away on doors and on booth walls the look dirty and tired. The toilets are a disgrace, dirt and dust line the tile cracks.The amount of money this company takes in, they should be ploughing back into the up keep of their restraunts, they should be refurbished every 18 months or so even to give them a lick of paint of varnish, change the light bulbs and fix neon signs.

I loath cold food, and expect mine to be still at least warm at the end of the meal. Burger King staff happily change, for instance, chips that are not piping hot. They do not, at this outlet anyway, over produce burgers that need to languish until customers arrive.Clean, toilets well maintained, decor a bit bleak.Value - extra good coffee, the normal fayre from the regular menus is reasonable value for money, the King of The Day is, however, minute in comparison. So.... although K of the Day sounds good value, if you're hungry, you'll need 2!!!

We've been eating at this establishment for nearly 17 years, and it's always been great.What has gone wrong Burger King!Over the past year it's just gotten worse and worse, and our last meal was the straw which broke the donkeys back.So where do I start, the salad was brown, no tomato in our whoppa's, portion of fries wasn't large enough to fill a mouse, the sprite was just carbonated water.It would seem to me that all those points add up to someone trying to save money, but in the process that will inevitably loose custom, I'm not about to pay £25 to feed my family food that my dog would probably turn down.The only positive from our meal was the meat, that was at the usual standard.Will I be going back.......NO!

As ever not a long queue but a horrendously long time to be served as the drive through was getting priority over the restaurant customers. Not exactly "fast food"! However I am addicted to the Big Macs, made unique with a slice of gerkin! We ordered and paid waiting an age for the lad serving to track down my change of 2p raiding the drive through till eventually! I went and sat down leaving my partner to wait and carry the food over. He was simply ages I would guess at about 10 mins as the guy cooking had forgotten about my burger! My partner was on the verge of asking for our money back and leaving. Glad he didn't as it was scrummy and the coffee I always get washed it all down a treat. The new mango drink was also delicious and went a long way to pacifying my partner!To summarise we have always found the service to be shocking and vow not to return but my addiction gets the better of me and I am always glad I have been. Take it for what it is cheap filling junk food that hits the spot! You do all the work yourself and we would happily clear the table into the bins provided if they were not always overflowing! No doubt I will return!
