Sunday dinner was great. Staff were very attentive.

Went mid afternoon and were pretty much the only people there. Will go again one evening.

A solid night out. Steaks excellent as always. Service solid from beginning to end.

Very Average. We had been looking forward to going for a while. Downstairs is quite lively & loud, upstairs is more relaxed and pleasant. We had the mixed starter which was nice. The steak however was very average for a Steak restaurant. I went for the garlic sauce. This tastes like garlic butter melted with the same consistency. Very greasy. And expensive for what it is. Should at least be included. All in all, it was ok, but not value for money and not somewhere I would rush back to. On the plus side, service was good, all staff friendly and pleasant. Get there early if you are driving though, limited parking as it’s a busy vibrant high street.

Went during “restaurant week “ for 3 course option Good range of starters .aim course rump steak cooked perfect Overall great meal . Only minor nitpicking sauces cost a lot and the raspberry pavlova had no chantilly cream in it

Excellent food as always, service was a little slow for me but only because I was in a rush, I'm sure under other circumstances I'd have been fine with it.

Went to the vets with my daughter and then onto Blackberries with excellent choice of patisserie good selection of cheesecake, tarts etc.. Worth a visit.

My partner & I went to Tomahawk on a Sunday evening for my birthday dinner. We booked in the morning and were welcomed to a lovely central table. Service from Lucy Murph was absolutely impeccable, we could not fault her. The food and drinks were delicious and I was made to feel very special on a quieter Sunday service. Would go back any time. Worth every penny!

Absolutely fabulous service and atmosphere. Our time was made perfect by our lovely waitress Fran, flawless friendly service. Based on her alone we would be back. The bottomless brunch is a fantastic offer, and even a couple of cocktails and the meal is more than worth it, having ate here outside of the offer. I can confirm the service was just as good, I had the chicken burgers my friend had the steak, both thoroughly enjoyed and the French martini and the espresso martini are amazing. Thank you Fran and Lucy Man for a wonderful time

First visit to a Tomahawk steakhouse.Had a chicken shawarma dish which was lovely and a Bailey's creme brulee. Pity the steaks are so expensive for what they are and the drinks are a bit pricey too.

We were the only lunchtime customers! Staff polite and helpful.

I had a Porterhouse steak which was cooked to perfection with excellent service and a great atmosphere. The only unusual thing is they add a 10% service charge to your bill, then ask you if you want to remove it.

Thanks to Cole for wonderful service for my friends 23rd birthday!! We had the best time!!! He made sure everything was perfect with our meal and ensured we always had drinks on our bottomless supper club

Was given 45 min to eat Sunday dinner then Bill was thrust on table ! Service in your face all the time rushing you to leave your table.been in far better restaurants for Sunday lunch Try elsewhere . Food was ok tho ! Just not a nice resturant .won't be returning here .there are far better restaurants in the area .

We had breakfast here today and what a wonderful dining experience. Our server Anais was attentive and friendly. And the food was delicious. We ordered the smaller full English's and Anais recommended we add the stuffed hash brown as an addition. We are glad we listened because it was unreal. Thank you Anais! We will be back!

Great atmosphere for a catch up with a mate. Service was absolutely spot on, drinks arrived promptly and really impressed with the speed of food coming out, we had our starters followed by our mains within 30 minutes of arriving. Credit to the staff who were all lovely, especially Anais who looked after us. She was very friendly and you could tell she genuinely cared about our experience as well as the other guests in the restaurant!

Went during the day, so it was very quiet. Only my son and I in. Staff attentive. Had steak, chips, and onion rings. My son took me as a Mother's Day treat. Lovely steak but was extremely expensive.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Food was delicious and plentiful, great atmosphere. Our server Anais was extremely friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Yarm is a lovely town, easyish parking after 6pm, and free. We were greeted and escorted to our table. Inside Tomahawks was a little noisy, but 6.00 that’s expected. My personal preference is music in the background, it was a little too loud for me. Again, just my personal opinion. The drinks turned up and we ordered the food. There’s a fair selection, but you wouldn’t expect many vegetarian dishes at a place like this. The Wagyu burger was spot on. Ordered with chunky chips, brisket and bacon topping. What a mess, in a good way. My Mrs shared a sharing steak platter with my son. It looked great, but for nearly £70, it should be. We only had a main meal and 1 drink each. The portion sizes are a little small for the prices, maybe 20% off. Given a service charge of 10% is automatically added to your bill. This is optional, but personally it should be capped at £10. We paid £17 service charge. Maybe I’m just tight . All in all, a great evening. Good food, great family meal to celebrate my sons 19th.

We chose Tomahawk, Yarm on recommendation to celebrate our son’s 18th birthday. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Izzy! Delicious food with excellent service - we will be returning soon.

Went to tomahawk yarm for Mother’s Day. Sunday lunch. Absolutely delicious. Lovely pork with crispy crackling, plus roasties, Yorkshire’s and lots of lovely fresh vegetables. . Good service and lovely friendly staff. Have been before and will definitely be going again.

Went with my mum for her birthday dinner. Lovely food, nice atmosphere, decent service. My fillet was cooked to perfection and a beautiful cut, was like butter to eat 🥰

The steaks are generally good but the menu is not especially great value, though the hash brown brisket side dish is really nice. I'd recommend the breakfast over the lunch or dinner. We ordered the seafood platter and were disappointed to find out they'd left off the oysters. They told us after the fact that oysters weren't available, which is something we'd rather know when ordering.

Great food, service and ambience

Had the ribeye steak rare, it was very very tasty. Have to say they did the steaks a couple of degrees colder than ordered. So a medium was more like a medium rare and a medium rare was more like a rare. For me that's just great, but it's just a heads up. I'll definitely visit here again if I'm close to Yarm.

Took my son for a nice steak, service was top quality, the food was amazing and the dessert managed to find some room in there somewhere. Absolutely would go again!

I tried their January special which is 3 courses for £20. Steak dish just included fries, but I upgraded to chunky chips and extra sides were chargeable. Must say, the rump steak was perfect medium rare and the most tenderist rump steak I've ever eaten in a restaurant, amazing 👍

I have very rapidly become a regular here and I would go do far as to say, I've eaten here more than most! Yet again tonight, amazing food, great prices and the staff are fantastic, so friendly, accommodating and polite. Tonight, served by the lovely Sadie who, like them all to be honest, is non stop! They all seem to really enjoy their work and have a passion for it which I think says a lot for management! Honestly, I struggle to recommend any particular meal on the menu and I've made it through most of them! The Dim sum, in my photos, are delicious. Parmo croquettes are amazing wagyu meatballs are delicious! The mains, my favourite has got to be the beef Thai curry! Honestly, I don't think you get better in a genuine Thai place but I can guarantee that the sliced steak is far better! If you like your steaks, I would highly recommend the Chateaubriand is amazing and with the 4 sides, easily enough for two big eaters! Let's not forget, the night life! Best place in yarm, open until 2am!!

It's ok. Seems like it's not as good as it used to be, before the lockdowns. Service is functional but not especially friendly. I think they forgot to put our main meal order through, so we waited a long time (though we did get a free round of drinks as a result). They always add a service charge to the bill and tell you that you can have it taken off if you don't want to pay it; not a fan of doing it this way, seems as though it's designed to send you on a guilt trip. Food is average but the cocktails are lovely. I don't think we will back in a hurry, at least not to the Yarm restaurant.

Food and service good. Very noisy atmosphere

We ate here Friday 12th Jan at 8pm. We had sharing platters and oysters. 4 were in our party but only 3 of us ate the oysters. Saturday night the 3 of us that ate the oysters had violent diarrhoea and vomiting and it has persisted until today. Now this isn’t the problem, the problem was their response to us raising this issue with them. They contacted us, spoke to us on the phone, requested we take stool samples and send them to our GP. They gave us less than 24 hours to complete this which we are actually working on doing but they have just got back in touch with us and basically told us to get lost in more polite terms. So why did they ask us to poo in a cup? Is it a weird power move of theirs? Is it a fetish? Who knows, all I know is we won’t ever go back here but we will be going back to Yarm. The most fun, is they originally agreed with us and said the oysters were likely the cause. We have receipts and screenshots to support everything I’ve said here.

Love the industrial feel. Lovely meal. Staff very helpful. I would recommend you to see for yourself. It's top class service. In a beautiful old town.

The evening began with jobs worth doormen directing us to queue, and join the queue, in a particular manner... When he could have stepped back from the 'rail' and just said "would you just wait there, queuing that way, for a minute or two please". Like when you get to the airport check-in / visitor attraction / post-office, hours before anyone else and need to either.... Follow the directions and walk 300 metres, or duck under the barriers and be there in 10-15 seconds. The security lads didn't appear to be encouraging the most 'sensible' option... ...there again, maybe (genuinely!) they hadn't considered (or even realised the possibility of) of such a possibility ‽

Very nice breakfast. I had Mexican Eggs and my wife had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Only issue is that the coffees arrive way before the food so that the coffee is cold or already consumed. Will note for next time.

We’ve wanted to visit this steakhouse for quite sometime. We finally managed it on Thursday 21st Dec, when my daughter was visiting from London. We booked for 5 people. We arrived on time and taken to our table upstairs - a great table but smack bang in the middle of 3 work’s Christmas parties!! We asked if we could move downstairs, to their other area, no problem. Again a lovely table and so much better. We ordered, had quite a wait for our mains, but that was due to the high volume of people in there and time of year, so no biggy. My sirloin came and was cooked perfectly, but was cold, as was my mash, my veg was hot. It was so bad I honestly couldn’t eat it and at £37+ nor should I have to!! I called our lovely waitress over and she apologised and took it away, I got a new dish which was again perfectly cooked and piping hot - it was perfect. My daughter and son-in-law ordered a sharing plate, £75, with 4 different cuts of meat and 4 sides. Every one of the steaks were not cooked to how they’d asked them to be cooked - they’d wanted some med/rare and some just med, non were cooked to their preference, they’d mixed the cooking up - not good! My daughter ate very little steak due to this and filled up on the sides. The bill came and it was £370+ with an optional service charge of £30 added, we requested that was taken off, something we never do but, this is a steakhouse, so the steaks should be faultless! We explained that the waiting staff were great but that the kitchen had let the team, and us, down. Such a shame.

Excellent staff were helpful and very professional. Gluten free menu was impressive and welcomed by me as a Caeliac .

We went here for our work Christmas party. I am vegan so I would expect options to be sparse. I had beer battered broccoli and the vegan burger. Both were nice, overpriced but plenty of better restaurants that offer plant based dishes.

We both had chicken paramo not enjoyable the chicken was made so thin.,you could only taste breadcrumbs and sauce why do you need to make it so thin I eould rather taste the chicken and it be smaller portion than eating a larger wafer thin chicken

Steaks are ok in general, you might ask for well done and get a medium or ask for rare and still get a medium, but like all the other steakhouses from this chain, there are days and days and overpriced stakes, but if you are lucky you might get a good steak. Whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM THEIR BURGER! that's a deep-fried meat loaf, not a burger... extremely dry and tasteless... I really don't understand why there is not a steakhouse that can make a good burger in this country.....

I was here in a Tuesday evening so it was quiet and that's expected. The atmosphere was very flat and the service was not the quickest. We had to ask a number of times for more drinks. Not a bad experience at all but for the money I expected more.

We went for the 3 course for £20 deal, and were not disappointed. We've had this deal before, it is excellent value. Starters were amazing, the steak was out of this world, cooked perfectly, and the desert was just delicious. Service was excellent thought our meal, everyone was attentive. We will 100% visit again.
