Meet At 12 in Stockton-on-Tees

This was the best Sunday lunch we’ve had in a very long time. All elements, perfectly cooked. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. We could see the chefs working really hard, preparing meals from our table. Loved it !!

Lovely food.. staff attentive.. great atmosphere.. so glad it’s on our doorstep.. will be regular diners

Decor and the waiting staff were lovely, however the service is extremely slow. Be prepared for a long wait for drinks and food, and that’s even if your order has been sent to the kitchen correctly! 2 of our party ordered starters, they didn’t show up, we were then told they had ran out, not a great start. When the mains came they were nice, wine extremely expensive though, London prices. Sadly wouldn’t return.

Called in for sunday lunch and the food was amazing. One of the best sunday dinners we have ever had. We could not believe is was so quiet in there the place should be packed out every sunday. All the staff were really nice as well. Will certainly be returning.

Was looking forward to visiting Meet at 12 but unfortunately, found it to be unwelcoming , rude staff , £12 for a glass of wine! Would not recommend. Don’t waste your money and go elsewhere!

Food was nice as was the atmosphere. Lamb didn’t quite arrive as expected and brought over bread by accident then took it away. Be prepared for high prices but to be expected so not a surprise for us! Lovely decor and friendly staff would go again!

First visit to Meet at 12, love the decor and environment. Food was nice/good but not anything special, wine £10 a large glass. Service very slow for food but waiting staff were excellent. We moved upstairs after our food but were told in a borderline rude manner by staff that both bars were closed, it was 11.20,we had not been forewarned of this, irrespective of advertising opening until 1pm.We were directed to the Head of Steam, not even another of the groups venues. We live in the village and love the “scruffy” and Bahn mi, sorry Meet at 12 we won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

Table for 7 on a Saturday early evening. Great food, excellent service- staff superb! The finishing touches to the decor are first class. Top marks to the chefs- we all had steak,and every meal was impressive including deserts. Definitely be back soon- a real treat. Martyn and Sandy

We live local and like to support local since we moved from kent two years ago We like to try eveywhere for a meal once and love the look of this place whenever we walk past. We booked for restaurant week for friday night. Welcomed instantly on arrival was allowed to choose our table - chose right by the window was lovely. All menus explained. Chose two cocktails each and i must say they are most likely the best we have had!!!! We moved up from the south east and must say they are on par with the ritz / savoy.... Perfection! Ordered the three courses for 20 pound each The quality of food was outstanding and steak beautiful melts in the mouth. Love the concept of the chefs cooking infront of customers. Becky our waitress was lovely all staff were that we came across. Toilets really clean. Love the LED angel wings! Nice cocktail lounge upstairs The decor is phenomenal art deco vibe. Felt really welcome and comfortable here. Nothing was too much trouble and thanked by the chefs and staff on way out. Worth every penny and more. We will be back!!!!

I have lunched every Friday with a good friend of mine for the last twenty years. We normally stay relatively local, but this Friday 18th November) we needed to be near Norton in the afternoon, so we decided to lunch there as well. Not having been to Norton before we hadn’t a clue where to go to eat. The parking in Norton didn’t appear to be the easiest exercise to do on a lunchtime, but we managed to find a space after a couple of trips up and down the High Street. We decided to try ‘Meet at 12’ for no other reason than that’s the time we meet every Friday for lunch, and weren’t disappointed. On entering the premises we were greeted by two friendly staff and were offered various places to sit. Much better than being simply dumped in a seat that we didn’t like. The ambience of this restaurant was extremely pleasing and had an upmarket feel to it. We were served by Matty and a lovely Dark Haired young girl who unfortunately I didn’t catch the name of. The service they provided was on a par with the Cafe-de-Paris in Monaco, it was that good. Not too in your face, but attentive enough for you to feel well looked after. The order for drinks was taken promptly, and the meal order in equally good timing. When the food arrived it was well presented and had plenty of flavours as you would hope. The bill itself was reasonable (considering most things are expensive these days). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this establishment for lunch. There was nothing I could fault about our visit. 5 Stars +

Really enjoyed our meal here. Excellent service, terrific food and a well designed restaurant. Starters: Bone marrow and sour dough / olives and bread / crab toasts Mains: Rib eye steak and chips / lobster / poached chicken Dessert: merengue posset / cheese board Wine: can't reval which your Type Bill: 160. Not at all bad for three adults with decent wine. Well with a visit.

Food absolutely delicious. I had hummus and steak. The service definitely needs some tweaks, food served without cutlery, drinks delays However, the staff are so friendly. Went upstairs for Cocktails after, again wonderful.

So just been telling the girls in the office about this place as I have been here like 3 times now and it is now my fav ever place! it reminds me of a London vibe - and the owner wow Love her!!! The food is absolutely beautiful cannot honestly understand how anyone could not love it :) I got crab on toast - mussels - sharing chateaubriand The owner is so friendly with kids also - she came right over and picked my 6-month-old baby up and has such an outgoing kind nature

The food was good but the service is shocking: Ordered a beautiful wine only to be told there was only 1 single bottle available so the 2nd bottle of wine was inferior. Offered drinks by 3 different waiters none of which returned to take our orders. Offered a dessert menu only to be told when we went to order that the desserts we wanted were not available, why not tell us that when you actually bring the menu? Check what’s available before ordering to avoid a very disappointing evening.

The Galacian steak for two was the best rib eye we’ve had . We’ve tried a lot! Perfectly cooked and seasoned and delicious . Crab starter was delicious too and sticky toffee pudding very good. Overall very expensive but we weren’t disappointed and received excellent...

So after that, I showed them the menu they had provided me with. And the response was “oh I’ll have to go and see the kitchen” So no fennel for starter, ended up with burrata, then ordered steak, was OK but cold and Béarnaise sauce...

After feeling a little apprehensive taking young children to this fabulous first rate restaurant, it’s safe to say we were put at ease. We were seated in a location with plenty of space for high chairs as buggy’s and still space to manoeuvre, but didn’t...
