The best restaurants serving Default food in Woolsington Newcastle upon Tyne North East

I ate here two days in a row, whilst staying at the hotel. The staff were friendly,hardworking and professional. Special mention to the young lady who was very kind and helpful . The food was delicious, both breakfast and dinner. The service was fast and very friendly. I recommend the chicken tiqua. The outstanding feature is definitely the quality of the staff. Thank you.

Ordenados desde este lugar primero hace unas semanas y ayer. Donner kebab y tenía la pizza calzone de hace dos semanas que eran las dos preciosas luego ayer tenía 2 pinchos para compartir entre la familia. Me encanta el sabor de el kebab - poco de calor en el fondo, que era preciosa, acompañados con patatas fritas que eran no grasienta (a diferencia de otros lugares). Sin duda pedir de nuevo a este lugar.

A typical hotel bar. Very decent prices, unfortunately a small selection of beer from taps, loosely unending atmosphere. Orders for food take until 11 pm. Many empty tables on Saturday evening

So delicious, quality was as best as possible.

Superb as always, house special chow meain and the hong Kong sweet and sour are out usual, v good beef and black bean also. The munch boxes are well worth the money vv good ribs

I really had to write a review as my visit was exceptional. We come every December for a Christmas tradition of cheese soup with garlic bread and an extra nibble sometimes. It's always a wonderful experience but this Christmas Eve was fantastic. We arrived earlier than booked but were happily seated immediately. The staff were lovely as always - full of smiles and jokes. The cheese soup this year was astonishing ! The flavour was better than ever. Perfectly rounded off with a couple of slices of garlic bread for dunking. Then a festive pigs and blankets toastie for me and a cheese toastie for my wife. Again absolutely awesome. Thank you all so much - this Christmas tradition will continue. Merry Christmas.

This was honestly the worst experience I have ever experienced. Waited over 10 minutes to be seated. Asked staff if I could seat myself on one of the numerous empty table to be told only a manager can seat people. However when we were eventually seated saw various staff seat people. Waited again for someone to serve us at the carvery and no apology for the wait. The food was below standard, it had clearly been sat out for a long time. The tables were poorly lighted and people sat around us were getting tired of waiting for the bill they had asked for 10 minutes prior. We looked at the puddings and chose what we wanted, but were then sat waiting for someone to take our order that we decided to skip in the end. Flagging someone down to give us the bill was another task, the lack of staff was shocking to the 6 tables that had people on. Then once someone was spotted it took them another 10 minutes to bring it over. This Toby has got to be the worst Toby I have ever visited and I honestly wished I stayed home and cooked a bloody roast myself.

Lovely place to wait for the gate info, usually manage to get a booth. Food is decent I love the pizzas. Anish looked after us really well and was a very attentive and friendly member of staff. We will be back!

Great food. The windows could of been cleaned better. Perhaps soft music playing and also lights need dimming. Also as an idea snacks supplied for waiting customers. In general a great place. Have just come out of a Secure Mental Health Unit and will be using place regularly now. Well done to all the staff 👏

I don’t normally like to leave a bad feedback but I find if you don’t know your behaviour wasn’t acceptable how can you know to change it. I visited with a friend yesterday for a long overdue catch up, arriving just after 11am. We should have taken the tearoom being empty as a sign but we were more interested in catching up. We didn’t get the most friendliest of welcomes and then we were pushed to order. When my friend said we’d just be getting drinks, that seemed to be a relief as the lady said she would be busy doing Sunday lunches. Whilst having our catch up hints were being dropped for us to leave and then the lady blatantly put the bill down and said she needed the table! My friend was going to pay and asked the lady if she took cards, and it was a rather curt reply of no followed by there is a sign in the window! I really should have taken my change as a tip was not deserved but I just wanted to get out of there. My friend felt exactly the same. Had the lady being welcoming and told us from the outset that she would need the table by 12 we could have had the option to go elsewhere. I really wished we had and I’m sorry to say I won’t be back. I’ve never been made to feel so unwelcome in all my life!

Service, staff and food amazing. Sally was so lovely and happy to chat to us and the children. Made us laugh too.

Mams 77th birthday. Booked a table paid £40 deposit. No one came to table to ask what drinks we wanted. Had to go to bar. Took ages for staff member to come take are order after we went to bar and complained. Food came mams pie was that hard u could of put a window out with it. Microwaved it that's for sure. Chips were white and raw. Pork chop all fatty. Rib eye steak full of gristle and peppercorn sauce i thought it was gravy as thick and tasteless. Every meal was terrible. And service appalling. Miserable staff. On fb picture beautiful cocktails , by the way they don't do cocktails. So overall very disappointed for mams birthday. Was glad to leave. And overpriced drinks

Well getting into the room was a problem how's the electronic key did not work and even after resetting it a few times still didn't work and had to change room pretty good value for the money cleanliness has to be desired especially in the bathroom very outdated remind me of an old old Travelodge but it is cheap and cheerful and I'm very close to the terminal for under £50 are the pretty good stay in the end so I got to get 5 out of 5 AJ

Excellent service from brad and ethan this morning , the food flew out of the kitchen from the lovely cindy, it was nice and hot and delicious
