I was pleasantly surprised by how great the Quaystone Bar and Kitchen was during my recent visit to Newcastle Airport. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly efficient — just what you need before a flight! The menu had a fantastic range of options, from classic comfort food to lighter choices, and everything was served promptly. I had the full English breakfast, and it was cooked to perfection — fresh ingredients, generous portions, and piping hot. The coffee was also spot on, a rare find at airport venues! What really stood out was the relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. It’s a comfortable spot to unwind before boarding, with clean surroundings and a great view of the terminal. Highly recommend stopping by Quaystone if you’re flying from Newcastle. It’s a cut above the usual airport fare — definitely 5 stars!

Great atmosphere in this bar and kitchen. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Anish talked to us as we passed and the bairn couldn’t resist the pancakes, banana and Nutella offer so in we came and did not regret it. Giant stottie, pancakes and sausage stottie later and we are ready for our flight. Getting up early was worth it!

We’re were shown to our table by a lovely gentleman called Anish who was super polite and clear in his instructions. He told us we could order by the QR code. He cleared our table once we were done and was good to chat too! Ray came to take away our drinks once we were done and told us a funny story :) a lovely start to the day before holiday! Thanks gents.

Had pepperoni pizzas before boarding our flight. They were delicious and were served to us very quickly. No complaints other than we would prefer table service.

Evan was the most lovely boy , he served me with so much enthusiasm and got me ready for my holiday - could not have asked for better. i asked for his name and he was so confident and caring towards me and my family. Can not fault this place. Absolutely amazing service and atmosphere all down to Evan. Will be coming again , absolutely recommend coming here.

Before a 4 hour flight the food in Quaystone Kitchen was perfect, we had the large breakfast and it was large, I don’t think I will need anything other than tdrinks on the flight. I will use again. Thank you.

Always a fantastic experience. Kate, Leyla, John and Parvez pulled it out the bag. Just an extra note, the chips were half cooked.

I had the Jackie Milburn Pizza for lunch. This was pretty good. But it could have had a little more toppings. Service was good and fast indeed. I tried to choose a quiet spot in the corner, but the overall airport noises were very loud. But this is something the restaurant cannot change. Overall satisfied.

Lovely place to wait for the gate info, usually manage to get a booth. Food is decent I love the pizzas. Anish looked after us really well and was a very attentive and friendly member of staff. We will be back!

Pedí el café y la galleta trato esperó 10 minutos nunca llegó, así que se le dijo que ordenar de nuevo. Dije que ya me habían cobrado dijeron que recibiría un reembolso, 3 semanas después no hay reembolso.

Kate and Layla were lovely and professional. Nothing was too much for them. John and Parvez in the kitchen made a change to the menu for my daughters fussy eating, again nothing was too much.

We had breakfast here and they were attentive to my gf partners needs, very knowledgable. Thank you Sophie for a lovely breakfast. Raymond was fabulous, very friendly and chatty, again attentive.

The staff were extremely helpful and and friendly - in particular Ray who greeted customers with a smile and Lily who took my order. Their inter personal skills were fantastic and due to them and also the food being delicious I had a really positive experience and would definitely come back.

Ray was a great pleasure to meet at 4.30 am. He made the airport experience a pleasure. A little bit of humour sets you off for a good start to your holiday. Compliments to the chef, susan. The food was really good, i had scrambled egg and which wasn't on the menu, but we're ever so accommodating. Our second visit and most definitely will be back.

Our 2nd time visiting here after such great service last time from Ray, so we were pleased to see he was back on today to welcome us with his friendly face. Our food cooked by susan was just what we needed before our early flight. Thanks again, wel be back.

Ellie cooked my egg to perfection. Look I totally get that eggs are easy to cook but for some reason people don’t get them right. Ellie knows eggs. Ray came around and took our plate. He was lovely. Totally recommend.

We usually go for fast food, however thought I’d try this place and my partner wasn’t too sure if we would enjoy the food…Jack + Connor were very friendly and attentive the overall experience surpassed my partners expectation…highly recommended.

The issue with airport places is you just get unappetising ‘brown’ food on a plate. It is what it is but it could be so much better. I only went as no other breakfast option, and not to mention the extortionate cost for a below average fry. I made the choice to eat here so not complaining but not great.

Service was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Pizza was very tasty as were the cheesy chips. Prices, as like the rest of the airport were massively inflated. £15.48 for 2 pints of lager is outrageous

Took a while to get order placed as mistakenly queued when we could have ordered via the qr code. Great bacon bun and really excellent croissant (courtesy of Emma). Raymond was efficient and friendly.

Kate was just absolutely wonderful she went above and beyond to ensure our experience was as enjoyable as possible. Get her flying the planes! Wouldn’t rush to come back. Service slow, had to ask for kids desserts ( 4 different people) four times before they came. Food extremely average but massively over priced for what it was. (Which I know is because it is an airport) but still! Portion sizes were small too. Best part was the kids homemade pizza. Such a shame.

Quayside is a great place to get food and relax before your flight. Reasonable prices and great service Anish was friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back

Brilliant service and nice to sit and chill before travelling. All the staff were great especially the table service. Raymond was awesome helping with finding a table, advising on the menu and having a laugh. The food from Emma was fantastic. Thanks Quaystone, happy days.

Early morning flight so had breakfast at 5am. Great service from being met on entry and explained the menu. The kids could even get pizza at that time, which isn’t usually on the menu until later, but ‘if you don’t ask, the don’t get’. The food was served hot and very quickly, and all the staff were friendly and a great help. Thanks!
