Excellent food to set us on our way to Las Vegas, very speedy service with everything cooked well. No complaints. Anish, our server, was very friendly and helpful, passionate about his job and worked really hard and kept checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. A true gent.

With the place empty (less than 20%), I started downloading some work stuff to read on the plane from the laptop, while I was eating their lunch, and they asked me to close the laptop because it is not a work area? If you use a mobile phone or tablet (like at some other tables), nothing happens.

Anish the waiter was great he made us feel really welcome and was lovely to my little boy and calmed his nerves about flying. Good coffee, didn't have any food :)

Anish was very kind and helpful when delivering our food and drinks at the table and made us feel very relaxed and welcome making the start of our holiday that little bit better.

Lovely fried breakfast, coffee and berry pots. Serve was excellent, quick and very welcoming.

Had a lovely sausage stottie (although would have my bread toasted but that is a personal preference) and pancakes and Nutella for my grandson, although too much for a five year old and because we ordered on using QR code it didn’t have option for kids size which would have been better. Service great and Ray very cheerful and helpful 😃

Stopped here for breakfast on the way to London. Very good service and the food was good. Coffee was really nice too (always a plus with me). Chef Susan did a fantastic job - credit where it’s due. I’ll be back here for airport breakfast next trip as I feel on merit Quaystone is the best joint in Newcastle’s departure terminal if you want a proper set up for your trip. Real food. Friendly welcome and service. Recommended.

Great breakfast, best atmosphere at the airport. Very nicely poached egg. Was served by Ray and Susan in the kitchen.

Came here for breakfast before our holiday with our young children. We got sat at a booth seat, table was missing menues and table numbers. Ordered at the bar and drink options for kids was shocking even though they had a kids menu. £3.80 each for an adults size apple juice is just too much! Kids didn't even like it as it was sour. Kids pancakes arrived luke warm but stone cold plates sucked the last of the heat out of them within seconds. Place is definitely suiting towards adults rather than kids. Absolutely nothing there for kids. Also if you also checked on the airport website for food options, the menu prices on there and 40% cheaper than the actual prices here. Definitely needs updating

Ray was happy to help us get our order placed (info about the QR code needs to be more prominent on the menu) unlike a few other members of staff who seemed to be happier talking than responding to customers who were confused about how to order

The staff were completely absent. No one greeted me, i sat and waited for over 10 minutes, the ordered online. My meal was placed in front of me, no eye contact was made by the staff member who put my meal down and left with hardly a word. Very anonymous and unwelcoming. I wasn't brought a fork to eat my meal with and it was impossible to get anyone's attention and they were right at the other side of the restaurant so I had to choose, as a lone traveller, to leave either my bags or my meal or both unattended while I went to find a fork. My table was broken and in general the tables and floor were grubby. The restaurant was almost empty and it was mid morning so being busy can't be an excuse. I was looking forward to a nice meal here but the experience was poor. I would have stayed for coffee and maybe a drink after my meal but the service was so bad and the place so grimy that I left as soon as I had finished. Food was quite good though.

Although it’s a bit pricey the breakfast was one of the nicest I’ve had. Hash browns were unreal and they do a nice latte also. Staff were also really friendly.

The food was like something you’d get in a school dinner hall. Chips were cold, pizzas were terrible. Seen others complaining as well. They asked how the food was and I said terrible. Nothing happened in response.
