Been bringing relatives to this carvery as staff Gracie very friendly & helpful. Food is spot on. Would recommend to anyone

We held a celebration of life for our friend Maureen, we had a private cordoned off area, staff were lovely - buffet by Tom was amazing, great quality & quantity… could not fault anything, well done Toby.

Amazing service by gracie was really friendly and super helpful, food was really nice.

We always come here with the family for a good and chilled atmosphere with brilliant food. Gracie has been awsome and helpful and full of smiles! Like all of the staff always!!

It was a Toby visit today. Very busy. I was looking forward to the carvery. It all looked very tasty. First class service from Kris who served us. The roast meats were delicious as were the roasties. Be back soon.

I ordered two large breakfasts on uber eats and they were mostly inedible the sausages were burnt and had a thick burnt layer on one side the hash browns were teeth smashing hard and we could only eat the centre the mushrooms were shrivelled and dry there was about one table spoon full of beans and tomatoes but the bacon was quite nice, I'm sorry but £17 for them disgusting meals is just not on never again

A good choice of Carvery items. However the beef was very fatty and the food was not very hot. Smaller, more crispy Yorkshire puddings would be better.

Found the vegetables and meat was cold. As advertised there was no Lamb. Asked Chef didn’t have a clue.

Came for breakfast this morning with my mam dad and sister. We come every week however this morning our experience was A LOT different than usual. There was nothing on the deck whatsoever when we went in, waited 15 minutes then had to go get a member of staff to get the deck replenished and the chef come out with a stinking attitude slamming the pots and pans onto the deck with no smile with our service. We then got our breakfast only for it to be freezing cold and not fresh at all. Very disappointed

Really good experience - staff fantastic and attentive - only issue was other customers they were so cheeky to the staff and gave them a hard time - Grace was nice and gave us really impressive service. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic customer experience.

Food is loosing quality, meat portions less and less but if your there with 50% off coupons worth every penny

Staff was rude and couldn't be bothered stood waiting to be seated 12min, then was given attitude. Got seated then was just told to go up no upselling to large or offered pigs in blankets etc Plates weren't clean and given one small slice of meat mostly fat, and most of the veg was just warm. I understand hospitality isn't easy. But no matter how bad you feel you always have to paint that smile on your face in front of customers Wouldn't recommend and won't be back

Got deliveroo from here got 2 of the beef carveries with pigs in blankets and chocholate cake. Half of one of the beefs was just fat and a vain. The other half I had It was missing the second lot of pigs. Ordered the chocolate cake without custard and it came with custard so was unable to eat. The yorkshires were burnt. This is the first time i have ever eaten there and it had put me off ever ordering from them or visiting one of their resturants. Would have given 0 stars but unable to

Got food poisoning from this place. Both me and my partner went here on Sunday afternoon, the food offerings did look nice initially. But in the end we both got food poisoning which wasn’t great.

Always seems busy, may have to wait so best to book in advance

Forget walking in and having a meal here, unless you have booked in advance you don’t get to eat any meats. IN A CARVERY!!! Bonus points for the staff that seem annoyed at your presence (how dare you walk in!!). Never mind there’s a pizza place 4 minutes away, I will recommend their cheese chips as my new favorite!

I recently visited Toby Carvery Kenton Bank with my husband on a weekend. The food was delicious, however towards the end I had an unpleasant incident and found a piece of plastic in my food. The manager and Gracie, the waitress, were very apologetic and did everything in their power to make up for the unfortunate incident. For this reason I don’t think this will stop me from visiting this restaurant again. The customer service was impeccable, the food and the atmosphere fantastic.

The food was very good, perhaps they should serve more than a single slice of meat since it is supposed to be a buffet, the vegetables are quite good, dessert is not included. The atmosphere is good.

Have ate here a few times but the last two times were disappointing to say the least. Veg has been limp and dry, dirty tables, dirty condiment area, with lots of empty dishes Just generally disappointing 😞

Food was cold. No beef available. No icecream so a very disappointed child. Sticky toffee pudding was a muffin with no toffee sauce and rock hard. Place was shabby. Only saving grace was our waitress who was covering from a different Toby. Has really gone down hill.

We heard mixed reviews about Toby Carvery Sunday lunch, but decided to go and try. I'm glad we did!! The restaurant was quite busy, but there was a good atmosphere, lamb and beef were cooked to perfection, and kids enjoyed the turkey. Plenty of meat and vegetables to choose from, massive Yorkshire puddings and if needed, you can go again and top up. Also, kids were happy about the bottomless juice and make your own Sundae. We will definitely go back!

Toby's are always hit and miss. Recent visit was a miss. Tough, fatty meat, cold cauliflower, and... a long wait for gravy, and tepid, lumpy, mash. Not the best visit.

Meat was very rationed, for a family of 4 cost over £60. And not a lot of food. Food was nice but not in it for potatoes and Veg 😅 Staff were lovely can't fault them.

A lovely friendly place with good quality food at a reasonable price. Always clean and happy staff with a smile and welcome.

Fantastic friendly and helpful staff, food was nice although could be a wee bit hotter, but I'm not complaining it was fantastic all the same, will definitely recommend and will call in again.

I stated I was gluten free and requested cauliflower without the cheese sauce but it arrived with it on my meal so I had to bin it all and couldn’t be sure they put the right gravy in as requested as they clearly didn’t read my order properly

it's a pick and mix you never know what you're going to get, sometimes the quality will be rubbish and when I say rubbish I mean it, Then sometimes it's decent. as someone who gets take away orders they almost always mess up somehow and there is no refunds because not worth the hassle.. so gamble at own risk. like how does a big breakfast there look like a small ... Must teach their staff to check.

such a shame the food was so disappointing. the pork was nice although small thin slice. beef fatty and unchewable. Now for the missing items. 2 gravy pots, pigs in blankets, cheesey mushroom as a starter, although the Garlic bread there served with arrived?!!? 3 deserts missing. phoned restaurant was told to expect a refund for missing items, still no response from the restaurant or just eats confirming any compensation. nearly 60 quid spent. not good value for money, poor quality.

Called in today and was served by Gracie who was polite with a friendly manner and the carvery was amazing.

I had a great experience at this toby carvery the staff are very respectful especially Sam. He helped us with the bill and was very well mannered. Ill be back in the future.

Came on a Fri teatime and wasn't to busy which was a nice as the queues werent to bad. Seated nice and quickly and gracie our waitress was over nice and quick to take our order the food was nice and the service from gracie was brilliant she was very helpful looking forward to returning again

Food was nice but didn’t get much at all. Carrots peas and cauliflower were the only veg. Very very little meat. Last time we got a nice portion for the price. Was nice though and still hot.
