Bar 11 in Newcastle upon Tyne

Lovely bar, brilliant atmosphere but sadly the food was lacking 3 time it was sent back first time it was the wrong order second and third stone cold ended up giving up and leaving it, Not the best start to our holiday leaving on a empty tummy.

Nice bar with good music. Unfortunately we all sat with our coats on as it was freezing cold. Ended up leaving after one drink and went to the bar further up the airport which was lovely and warm.

Sally is a legend! Fab service!

Sally the waitress was WONDERFUL. She made our day! Lovely Chatty, polite wonderful lady give her a raise! Space is good looks visually asthetic, could down with some toilets and make it normal prices!!

We were greeted by a lovely woman called Sally and she was very warm and welcoming and the refurbishment is great the place looks a lot better!

The bar was so helpful they set up a table for us for a birthday celebration they went above and beyond and went to the next bar to get a cruzcampoo drink as they didn’t have it on tap there such good service!

It's a bar in an airport, in this case Newcastle airport. There's not a lot more to say. Airport prices are always expensive and the service is sometimes questionable but on this occasion the service was good.

Lovely atmosphere in this bar, yes the prices are a wee bit expensive but when you're going away you dont really care, I'm a nervous flyer and one staff member helped me with my anxiety and I can't thank her enough, Kirsty is a very lovely lady who put me at ease she definitely gets 5 stars from me she was quick and very efficient, I hope to see her next time I'm going on holiday 😊

Visited bar 11 while awaiting out flight ✈️.. bar service was fabulous.. the lasses that were on were so polite .. bar/food area was constantly being cleaned .. Sally made us feel so welcome telling us all about the new refurbishment of bar 11 .. highly recommend a visit . I will be returning on my next holiday ❤️

Recently refurbished the bar looks great, good prices for an airport and good all day food menu too. Staff were all lovely, especially Sally 😊

Lovely new, clean, airy atmosphere. Loads of seats when we were in and the staff were very friendly. The prices are as expected in an airport and the choice of beer is good. I like that the bar staff are always happy to fill our water bottles with tap water instead of having to buy single use plastic bottles.

Fast food, bar in the airport. You were supposed to order online, but you were then served at the counter. It was still a great way to pass the waiting time.

Not brilliant. Breakfast was cold and the place was filthy. Drinks v.v expensive but it’s an airport so you expect that. Little one enjoyed watching the planes take off though so not all bad 🤷‍♂️

Viajar a LHR desde NCL y el aeropuerto fue muy tranquilo, solo un par de empleados, pero no el más feliz, posiblemente aburrido, sorprendido por los precios de hoy, £ 11. 50 por una pinta de Guinness y media sidra, realmente estás tomando el micrófono, ¿son precios inflados para el invierno? A medida que se acercaba a las 7 pm, la entrada estaba bloqueada con sillas, ya que solo había 3 vuelos saliendo, así que no más negocios, ¡puede probar un bar diferente la próxima vez!

Eight pounds for a cappuccino and croissant. I am aware of the prices at the airport but the croissant arrived after twenty minutes and after having requested it three times, and it was something that looked two days old. The cappuccino tasted like burnt coffee and no one had asked for cocoa on top. I felt like a chicken to be plucked.

Food delivered in good time, expensive for what it was. Tables and menus dirty. Tried to order again from table but app told me not available and speak to a server. I spoke to a server who was collecting my plate and she wasn’t helpful at all and wouldn’t take an order, told me goto the bar. I couldn’t as I was on my own and couldn’t leave my bags and I don’t want to leave my table or would lose my place. I’ve left to go somewhere else.

Great location and nice coffee HOWEVER....bar staff very poor at actually serving customers, clearing tables, floors. Shift managers need to get a grip of their staff, retrained or reselected.

For the extortionate price you pay for a drink you would think that they could at least clean the tables !

Fab atmosphere in Bar11 before we to headed to Magaluf to celebrate our friends 40th. I had liaised with Carly before the date who I sent photos through to via email and on the day Lucy had set up the Easel and table with decorations and photos which were a fab touch and really got her birthday weekend off to a great start. Service staff are excellent. Atmosphere is good, but then it would be when you’re about to go on holiday. Food is wayyyyy overpriced for average and in sometimes below average quality. Average prices are to be expected in a largely seasonal dependant industry, but at least make it seem worth it. £7 for the saddest sausage sandwich that greggs would do better for £2 is shameful. If you order on the app there’s the chance to tip before you get your food. Service staff were really good so worthy of it, but food was not. Overall, nice place to sit before you fly for the family, but it’s hard to leave without feeling like you’ve been ripped off unless you’ve just had a coffee.

Expensive but it’s an airport bar.friendly staff, apart from the expensive food and drinks the thing that brings it down is it looks like a proper dive bar seats with ripped covers and generally a very rundown look ( but not in a cool way) it’s inside a international departure lounge but looks like the morning after a Newcastle v Sunderland derby match

Came here before I went on holiday and was such a lovely atmosphere!! the food and drinks were amazing and so were the staff, especially Kara, she was so helpful and so hardworking the whole time we were there!

The drinks and food were good, quite expensive but I wouldn't expect anything different from an airport bar. Came with my family prior to our holiday to Antalya. Our flight was delayed but we didn't mind at all waiting in bar 11. One of the members of staff, Kara, was so kind and enthusiastic, especially when talking to my kids who were so excited to get on the plane. She was super attentive too and even came and gave us an update on our flight when she noticed a change on the board! We didn't get any food but it looked and smelled delicious.

Came for a few drinks and decided to get some food too. We asked a passing member of staff, Kara, to pass a message to the kitchen about the way we wanted our food cooked which she did immediately, and from then became dedicated to us. She came back around 20 minutes later to ask if we'd put an order in as she couldn't see one with our table number on the board, she then realised it had been put through with no table number so was sat waiting. She had it remade so it was hot and fresh and when she brought it to us was super apologetic. She really went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied and made us feel very special. 10/10 service!

Came here with my partner before our departure to Bali and was served by Kara, she was so attentive and kind. I was really nervous for the flight so we picked here to get something to eat and relax (food was lovely) but her smile put me at ease! Thank youuuu!

Drinks weren't fairly priced and fizzy Drinks were flat by the time they arrived. Our table was sticky so asked for a cloth and the attitude that we were greeted with from one of the staff members was disgusting. It felt as though she didn't want to be there and didn't want to help either. No staff member was taking time to clear tables and the food/rubbish on the floor and tables when many were available to do so as the bar wasn't busy. The music was far too loud and you weren't able to have a proper conversation without repeating yourself. Very disappointed with this

went to this bar in the airport as it seemed very popular and was greeted with sheer disrespect. firstly, i ordered a drink which the bar server came and said to myself “we do not have that what do you want” in a very rude manner which i then replied with what else they had to offer, in which they couldnt tell me, i then looked at the menu and ordered another drink, which the bar tender told me was okay, then a new member came over and told me they did not have it. again very rude and could not tell me what an alternative was. after finally being able to order a drink on the 3rd try, it was not the best. the only good side of this is the music and smoking area. will not be returning. i was also over charged, as my drink did not make up for what i had paid for the daquri.

The bar is a pig stye would not chance food from here. The money they are making you'd think they could keep place clean

Chicken Caesar salad was absolutely beautiful, one of the best I've ever had. Dessert was also very yummy!

You order something and you expect it to be delivered. I spoke to two members of staff that I had part of my breakfast missing that I had to pay extra for but both staff members never bothered coming back!

The food is very average and pricey, the app is poor couldn’t get a receipt and the bar couldn’t reprint one, hopeless Never again!
