The best restaurants serving Default food in Middlehaven Middlesbrough North East

Was visiting Middlesbrough that day and waiting for a friend. decided to go to Milligans to buy a hot drink to pass time. I ordered a drink and the granny served me. I ask why was the price different and she said i was sitting in to drink. This was fine but she looked at other customers when she replied back thinking i am stupid or something. I find her customer service skills lacking even for an experienced old staff and would have been forgiving if she was a trainee. Before she bought the drink to the table she shouted who ordered 'hot tea', at the time there was only 3 customers sitting in the cafe which shows either she does not care or she is showing signs of senile forgetfulness. Anyway at the end of the day this would be the last time I would enter this rundown cafe and definitely would not accept this poor attitude towards customers. A mentally challenging staff that has passed her expiry date to work in the F&B industry.

Came in 1hr before closing and told me not taking orders

So, i want to preface this that ive been a thorough subway enjoyer for a lot of years, visiting them frequently throughout where i have lived. This one however? i dont want to visit/order from anymore, every single time out of the last 10 attempts ive had they have messed up something in my order, not delivering the right drinks, missing sides, wrong sauces, wrong bread etc. Definitely do not recommend if you prefer your order as ... well, ordered.

Absolute dump toilets are rotten disabled toilet is covered in mould the mam behind the bar is arrogant and doesn’t really give a damn about customers all round a bad experience the first thing I seen when I went to toilet is 2 guys taking drugs in men’s toilet no a good image soon as you walk in if I could give minus I would avoid this place

1 out of 5 staff just not good enough the order was short boneless filet and dips meal. The dips didn’t appear with the order. The chap who took the order in the first place couldn’t speak much English which you’d have thought was a must given the job. This isn’t the only time I have had bits missing from previous orders. Only use the place once in a blue moon, it’ll be a long time till I go back there if at all.

Thought I’d give this place another go after it’s very expensive refit, to see if they’ve managed to address the quality of their chips, which have been reliably appalling for years……. nope, absolutely dreadful as usual… totally limp, cold & inedible…. how can you get something this simple this badly wrong? It’s not just once or twice, which would be forgivable…... it’s EVERY single time!!!!

Not happy at all...food arrived cold...I ordered peri peri fries, they gave me normal ones....burger was tiny plus bun was soggy and wet...AVOID!

Ordered on over and got a free cookie and it was here within 15 minutes thank u

Sat and watched the guy opposite pick out not 1 but 2 hairs from his food! When our order came chips were cold, chicken was hot and when we asked to change an unopened spicy Mayo dip for a bbq dip you’d think I had asked the member of staff to sign a contract in blood in exchange for her soul. She went into such a tirade and rudely spoke down to me. That’s after my teenage son had asked and they had just point blank refused. Luckily another member of staff saw how ridiculous it was and simply changed it. Won’t be back
