The best restaurants serving Default food in Esh County Durham North East

This is a gem of a pub, friendly, clean, light and airy. The music was excellent, the toilets, clean with many extras for the ladies. It seems they have thought of everything. It has a separate room with a pool table and there is parking close by, if not directly in front.

Excellent authentic Thai food , very tasty and well worth the price will certainly be going back again. The service was excellent and very friendly.

Way over priced, not very clean we both had hairs on our plates the milk jug was not very clean .after saying that the tarts were quite nice.

Fantástico descanso en el Royal Oak. Gente cálida genuina, pub encantador, habitación acogedora con todo lo que pueda necesitar. ¡Y la comida! Cocinado en casa, abundante y delicioso; eso incluye el desayuno! Muy recomendable ☺️

Just had fish and chips bread butter and pot of tea for 2. From entering to leaving service was excellent,decor is great and food was delicious. Family run and a must goto if your in the area, you won't be disappointed.

What a place! We were upgraded to a gorgeous suite, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful breakfast, fridge with fresh milk and mineral water, wonderful Italian breakfast including steak and eggs, very generous with the coffee and juice and even offered me a latte in my travel cup the day we left. Great local recommendations. We also ate dinner one night, absolutely lovely! Easy walk to all the sights and parking on site is a real bonus

What a wonderful surprise we had when we dined at the New Board Inn. The staff were welcoming and professional. The food was outstanding. Wish we were locals so that we could come back.

PROS. Limpio, atractivo, peculiar. Personal agradable. Comida bastante sabrosa. CONTRAS. Servicio muy lento, tanto en la realización del pedido como en la entrega de alimentos. Bastante caro (£ 7. 40 para té para dos por ejemplo). Música pop intrusiva. Perros bienvenidos, no algo que pensamos que no se debe permitir donde la gente está comiendo - no a todos les gustan los perros, ni es particularmente higiénico. No hay papel en el baño. Los contras superan a los profesionales, dudo que volvamos.

We booked our stay on line. Didn’t read much about it, just checked it was all on one level. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night! Out 2 rooms were lovely and clean, warm and welcoming. Reception explained everything clearly to us. Our only criticism was the bed was very low. Comfortable but low down. If we had stayed longer I would have asked to change room. Breakfast was amazing, everything you could ask for and more. All that we had was of good quality. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Staying in the area on holiday and were a bit nervous about ordering from here due to the recent negative reviews but took a chance and glad we did. My wife had a cheeseburger & chips - nice & fresh, tasted good and a decent portion of chips. I went for the dinner meat & chips, but was worried about getting a small portion as the price was much lower than I pay at home in Sussex so we ordered a garlic bread with cheese on the side. In the end the portion was probably bigger than home, delicately spiced and thinly sliced, delicious. The garlic bread came with as much cheese as a normal full pizza and was gorgeous, only shame was we couldn't finish it all! Some other reviews talk about delivery delay and cold food and I can't comment on that but I went for the collection optiona and it was ready in 15 mins and piping hot. To add, ordering directly through their website I automatically got a discount whereas going through the FoodHub app I would have had to pay a platform fee for nothing! Highly recommended

Qué lugar fantástico. Reservamos este lugar a última hora después de alojarse en uno de nuestros hoteles. Noche en un vertedero derecho. Éramos una familia de 8 y este lugar ofrecía un montón de espacio y con un nivel muy alto. El restaurante de abajo también era excelente. Increíble comida cocinada a un precio razonable. El personal y los propietarios eran excelentes y fue un verdadero placer alojarse aquí. Solo 30 minutos más o menos de Newcastle whixh era útil, ya que teníamos entradas para ver el Toon! Visitamos el noreste varias veces al año y sin duda estamos tratando de reservar este lugar de nuevo el próximo año. Le daría 6 estrellas si pudiera
