The Quebec Tearooms is a delight, the food is consistently good and the staff are always welcoming. Tucked away in a hilltop village in County Durham it is worth the diversion

First visit since new management. Good and bad experience. Good; the food itself is good and actually seems better than before with more choice. Bad; 1) Awful music being played, too loud. Really didn’t fit with the customers. 2) Service poor; a pleasant greeting, smile and chat goes a long way. Our drinks were just dumped on the table without a word. Feedback is a gift!!

Halloween box. After a 20 min wait for a preorded halloween box. Was not as shown in the display box, several items missing and changed no apology given. Not recommended.

Been here a few times. Really lovely tea rooms. Staff lovely and nice setting. Extortionate prices let this place down. Noticed on this visit prices are crazy. 2 of us, got 1 toastie, 1 panini, 1 coffee and 1 hot chocolate. Price was just short over £26!!!! Really think overpriced for what it is. If prices aren't reviewed really think will lose customers. Not many people in when we were there maybe due to increasing cost.

Visited here a couple of times since new owners.Just wanted a chilled Sunday so asked for take out meal, decided on the mince & dumplings, very tasty really nice.Deffo worth a visit
