The restaurant was perfect. Very good food and kind attention. Recommended place to have a good meal. The hotel? Law roof, small bed, noisy street; otherwise very well.

It has been a long time since we last came here, and we should have been back sooner as it was as good as we remembered. My mushroom risotto was brilliant and my husband enjoyed his chicken capresi just as much. With our friends we celebrated 🍾 and enjoyed the whole experience. Good selection of vegetarian options too. Went in for a quick bite and ended up having a margarita pizza, stuffed pasta and a pistachio meringue for dessert. The servers were quick, polite and attentive. I'll be going back at some point in time to sample the other stuff.

Personally, Valentino’s is my favourite Italian restaurant in Ripon. The food is delightful and tastes very fresh. The atmosphere and restaurant itself is very calming and a nice space. The staff are really friendly too!

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Valentino's restaurant and bed and breakfast in Ripon, North Yorkshire. My Girlfriend took me away for my birthday and the room was absolutely beautiful! The restaurant is superb and the staff are first class and very attentive! We're returning next month for another slice of La Dolce Vita!!

The hotel is small 5 rooms but very beautiful. The rooms are very clean. With a good comfy bed. The ensuite very clean and warm. The mini fridge has bottled water and bottle of milk. We booked a table at the restaurant. The food was amazing, fresh tasty. Also our first Italian breakfast was fresh an tasty. But no restaurant and hotel is complete, without an amazing staff. Friendly polite and very helpful. We would definitely return

Another buisness stop... On arrival staff were very friendly This is also a busy restaurant and the smells coming from the kitchen were amazing. The rooms are located to the left just up a small flight of stairs. The lovely young lady showed me to my room which was red hot compared with the freezing temperatures outside, it really was toasty warm. The room had an espresso machine with all the facilities. The bathroom was an ample size, I was hoping for a bath but this one came with a shower, just my personal choice. After a lovely nights sleep in a comfy bed I came down for breakfast wow! I had Parma ham and poached eggs on toast with filled croissants. The freshly squeezed orange came with ice and a slice of orange and was soooooo refreshing I also had fresh coffee and a glass of iced water. Service with a smile speaks words. Left feeling extremely happy No less than 10 out of 10 Thankyou guys

What an absolute gem of a place. Without doubt, the best restaurant in Ripon. We frequent here regularly with family and friends and each time, our expectations are exceeded. The quality of food is spectacular, generous portions, fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious. The staff are wonderful. Welcoming, always happy and go out of their way to accommodate you. Having had the pleasure of staying overnight here too, I was hugely impressed with the standard of accommodation. Beautifully decorated rooms, furnished to a high standard and immaculately clean. We would recommend Valentino’s to anyone, without reservation. Well done to Rick, Danny, Pablo and team for their tremendous efforts and hard work.

The rooms were very european contemporary in style. Tastefully decorated comfortable functional nice wee touches like a jar of biscotti. Coffee pods decent TV and a wet room like shower. I enjoyed the room. Resteraunt dinnef was informal nicely prepared hearty portions of food. breakfast not the usual fry up but a more thoughtful and satisfying alternative with a medeteranian twist. I like Valentinos and would very happily go back for leisure. Nice place, great food, kind considerate folk.

My wife and I were stayed at Valentino's for one night and we absolutely loved the room we had as well as the restaurant. We were upgraded to the best room because it was our honeymoon and there were fresh flowers in the room for us to enjoy along with a lovely note! The suite was very spacious, two floors with a sitting area, two bathrooms and a large bedroom with a very comfortable king sized bed. The food at Valentino's was excellent! We had dinner and breakfast. We went to Italy shortly after being here and the dinner we had at Valentino's was better than all the meals we had in Italy. The staff were excellent and we loved the little town of Ripon, even though we didn't get much time to see it. Rick the owner and cook was a great host, thank you!

Well after 15 enjoyable years eating last night not the best , long wait for service long wait for meals folded pizza lacking the usual standard of filling starter brill so was the sweet and where’s the atmosphere gone

This a gem in the heart of Ripon. Having stayed a weekend, the room was elegant & tastefully dressed. The bathroom & shower was top notch. The food was awesome. I cannot remember tasting better & the breakfast probably the best I’ve had. Colin D

We were in Ripon for a wedding and are so glad we chose to stay with Valentino's. The overnight guest parking immediately took the drama out of finding somewhere to keep the car. We were allowed into our rooms a bit earlier than expected after a really friendly greeting. We were incredibly impressed with the service and quality of breakfast the morning after. We'd recommend Valentino's to anyone that needs a room in Ripon.

Absolutely amazing. Stayed in the rooms upstairs - beautiful, fresh, clean. Ate dinner and it was superb. And the breakfast in the morning was the cherry on top!! So glad we stayed here! Owner is fabulous!!

From the moment I first telephoned the restaurant to say I had arrived,I was greeted with such a warm welcoming voice.once we got inside you could tell what a beautiful cozy place this was ,fresh flowers about,tulips on dinner table.our room was luxurious,quiet and very comfortable.the food was fresh and gorgeous.breakfast was even better if it can get better.warm croissant filled with Parma ham .good hang over breakfast served .10/10 for us .thank you Valentino's

Food was amazing authentic Italian couldn't fault anything with evening meal. Breakfast was amazing i had filled croissant and baked eggs in tomato and beans. Staff were very friendly and welcoming from start of our stay though to checkout. Very nice touches in room coffee,tea,water,milk and biscuits. Very close to main square and cathedral. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Stayed here for 1 night and the rooms were beautiful, with free on site parking but what really made this place stand out was the food and service. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Evening meal was delicious and the breakfast whcich is Italian themed offering great selection and was phenomenal.

The food was absolutely gorgeous and they couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommended and we will be returning when in the area.

This is an excellent "Restaurant with rooms" with a great location. There are are a small selection of rooms all decorated to a high boutique standard. Italian food served to a high standard and breakfast served either English or Italian whatever you prefer. Highly recommend. 👌

When I arrived I had a reserved parking space waiting for me Checking in was Simple. I was shown to my room. Everything was shown and explained. Cold water and milk in the Mini fridge The food in the restaurant was to the highest standard, as was the service. Breakfast was different, but delicious. I can t wait to return. When close to Ripon, thus is the only place to stay explained.

The food and service here was outstanding I would visit again. We did not stay here but it looked like a great place to stay as well. There is plenty to do and see in the village

We stayed at Valentinos for 1 night last night for our anniversary in the toscano room and From arrival to checkout our stay was perfect. The room was small but we did book the smallest room which was more than adequate. It was very comfortable and decorated to a very high spec, from the stylish doors to the chrome sockets n switches, every detail covered. The bathroom was lovely with a dual shower, the bed was very comfortable and we had silence all night. There were biscuits, fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge for us. The 2 ladies who checked us in and served in the resturant were lovely whilst the owner himself served breakfast and was very nice and accommadating. The food was amazing all freshly cooked to order. We had our evening meal there also which was delicious and breakfast was an Italian style breakfast and was cooked to perfection. Overall I would score 10/10 and will be staying again

The best Italian food in North Yorkshire and with fabulous attentive waiting staff. Perfecto! Pizzas are the best. As good as those from New York City. A special personal touch was the happy birthday ice cream. It was a low key celebration. We will return. If you're in Ripon, pay it a visit. You won't regret it.

A true example of excellent hospitality! Without a doubt one of my most favorite stays in the historic town of Ripon, at the gateway to the yorkshire dales! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and owner. The staff are extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant staff are fantastic and hugely accommodating. Had several great evenings here, food and drinks absolutley gorgeous which obviously also added up to the experience. The suites are beautiful and it was fantastic to walk in to such a quiet and homely setting. Highly recommend

On Saturday evening my family booked a meal in this Restaurant, to celebrate my Daughters birthday, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The young Lady attending our tables was very helpful, and understanding of my G/Children's needs. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Excellent restaurant and rooms. A well appointed room. Very modern without losing that cosy feeling. Free parking on site. We had a delicious dinner at a very reasonable price (bolognese and the veal). Staff are super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a nice red wine outside by the gas fire lanterns to end the evening. Highly recommended.

Why stay in a hotel when you can stay here? Our room, although not huge, was beautifully proportioned and the decor contemporary and chique. As you would expect in a hotel, everything was provided to make your tea and coffee - but a coffee machine was a lovely bonus as was the mini fridge to keep the fresh milk and bottled water cool. Being welcomed every morning by the owner, who was so friendly and attentive was a delight and breakfasts with an Italian twist were an excellent way to start the day.

Our stay here was just wonderful, the staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was amazing - stylish, clean, comfortable and spacious! It had everything we needed. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I have had! We didn't have our evening meal there as we had already made plans elsewhere, but we will definitely be coming back again to stay overnight and eat in the restaurant! Thank you!
