Excellent authentic Thai food , very tasty and well worth the price will certainly be going back again. The service was excellent and very friendly.

I visited this small traditional Thai restaurant for lunch. I was made very welcome and any questions answered, no problem A very pleasant atmosphere in a small village on the outskirts of Durham city centre. I ordered spring rolls to start and Arroy special for main, the food was great and prepared by the Thai ladies who run the family restaurant. Well worth a drop in.

Aroy is a hidden Gem of a Thai cafe/Restaurant . We have visited many times and the food has always been fresh and very tasty. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and always get a warm welcome.

We haven't been for a couple of years and last time I believe we took away. Today we ate in. I had red chicken curry with sticky rice and my wife had beef massaman. The dishes are really tasty and the portions are good without being huge and the prices are very reasonable especially if you stick with boiled rice.

Our 1st visit was for coffee and cake, our 2nd was for lunch and in August for dinner for our son's birthday. Each time the food was delicious, the service excellent and the ambience welcoming. We love it.

Really laid back family friendly small cafe / restaurant with outstanding authentic food and impeccable service. Thank you for being super helpful in accommodating our little ones. And they have a high chair.

The food was absolutely beautiful and the desserts were unreal. Friendly staff and very reasonably priced too, will be back soon.

Visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago to try it and to support a new local business. We were not disappointed and will definitely be going back again. The food was absolutely stunning and the service really friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is fairly small, but this gives it a nice intimate feeling. A very welcome addition to the village!

Lovely little authentic Thai cafe super fresh ingredients. Very clean setting the music and ambiance was really nice but food and service was amazing 5 star can’t wait to return to try more from the menu.

What a great little place this Thai cafe is, popped here with a friend for food as kept seeing it pop up on my socials. Really lovely little place and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. There were plenty of options to choose from and the portion sizes were great. The food was extremely tasty and we could tell it was cooked to order as everything tasted so fresh! They don’t serve alcohol however you can take your own alcohol if you want a drink which is a handy option! Can’t wait to visit again soon.

I was told about this place which must have opened quite recently. I ordered a chicken massaman with sticky rice which was a change to what was on the menu and they accommodated my request with a slight alteration in the price. When I got home I found I had a really good portion of both curry and rice which were of excellent quality - absolutely delicious. To be honest there was enough food for 2 portions. I will definitely be back.

We have visited this cafe twice, once for a take away and once to eat in and both were superb. Food is freshly cooked and spiced to your taste. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this eatery.
