The best restaurants serving Default food in Bungay Waveney East of England

Sadly the place seems to have closed, it was a nice place for a hot drink and a pastry , and the girls were always friendly. It will be missed

Found this place for a quick bite and so glad we did. Food and service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend it. Not on the beaten track but deffo worth searching out👍

Who would expect a 5 star Italian restaurant to be hiding away in Bungay ? I have eaten here many times since it opened, both upstairs and downstairs can honestly say I have never been disappointed. I have visited with friends and family from various parts of the country and overseas and they too have been nothing but complimentary of the food served. The food is always tasty and the menu offers something for everyone but tonight’s special penne pasta was simply extra special. Tiramisu can be recommended as too the Antipasta Italiano sharing starter. I do eat regularly in Norwich with friends who live there and personally believe this restaurant is not only as good as the many good Italian restaurants in Norwich but is in fact better ! Service is always friendly , as someone with an allergy I can always be certain I will be looked after well at Fiano as all meals are cooked to order so reasonable requests can be facilitated. I’m not somebody who goes out of their way to write reviews but I do believe outstanding value and quality deserves praise. So if you are looking to eat out in the Bungay area or are simply searching for delicious full of flavour fresh Italian food go no further than Fiano and I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

A quick visit for a drink, we were welcomed like regulars. We were the only ones in when we arrived, and settled next to the fire. A few regulars arrived and we were happy to chat and felt welcomed by them too. Great value drinks and will be back when we holiday again in the area!

A very pleasant stop in this lovely tearoom. In our party we had a winter ploughman’s and a quesadilla plus drinks. Food was hearty and filling and tasted delicious. Would definitely visit again!

Spent a lovely few hours here today with my 4 year old. So many things to keep him entertained. We had lunch here too and it was excellent. Also very reasonably priced.

So many friends have raved about this restaurant so we decided to try it. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. For a Thai restaurant, I found the menu a little strange. We ordered chicken satay, pork spring rolls, calamari? Portion size was fairly small and i wasn't keen on the spring rolls. Mains We had pork noodles, monk fish, burger and 2 kids meals. Monk fish with sautéed potatoes. The let down was the spuds were just new potatoes and hadn't seen a pan. Pork noodles were my order and the noodles tasted like ones I have at home in the cupboard. I'd expect decent noodles. Burger looked good and son love it. 2 kids meals went down a treat. The bill was in my opinion high for what we received however I've not been out in a while and there is a crisis out there. I personally wouldn't go back however other family members said they would. So I wouldn't recommend it buti wouldn't put you off either, I guess it's down to personal taste.

It was the local street fair day and it was extra busy but we never felt rushed and nothing was too much trouble. The food as always was top notch. My son had the Sunday roast which he said was really good. I had battered fish of the day with chips and the batter was the lightest I have ever had. The portion sizes are just right and service was excellent. The staff were all very cheerful and the prices are reasonable for the food and service we had £40 for two of us including drinks.We will definitely be visiting again.

Today we had the most delicious Christmas lunch in a beautiful restaurant with the loveliest of staff serving us. What a treat!! We didn’t want to leave… we highly recommend The Earsham Street Cafe!!

Stayed here for one night, beautiful room with lots of nice little touches. Complimentary breakfast was super tasty and everybody was really friendly, would come again.

Fabulous Beer (Brewed in there own brewery) and excellent food coupled with a fantastic atmosphere & friendly staff that make you feel welcome

We have visited Gelato and Sorbetto on a number of occasions and can honestly say the food and service is always impeccable. We have often been served by Jake, who always makes our visits all the more enjoyable. He is chatty, friendly, sociable, and altogether a pleasant, affable, and humorous individual. We will certainly be visiting again, and look forward to seeing Jake again when we do!

This cafe is without doubt the BEST cafe I have ever been to and trust me I have been to a lot over the years. Service is fast and cheerful and everything is lovely and clean. Staff super friendly and they create a welcoming atmosphere . The food is consistently utterly FANTASTIC. Very highly recomemded. Well done the garden cafe team
