The best restaurants serving Default food in South Norfolk East of England

Myself and my two daughters came for lunch i can say enough about the staff out of this world ....brilliant customer service and the food was just brilliant....i was so impressed with everything i asked who served and she said her name was cecily ....i will definitely be coming back to this little gem.....

With main meals for £6.49 this is an attractive eaterie option. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Doing everything they could for us, including keeping us abreast of how long we were likely to wait. Nicely laid out in spacious and relaxed fashion the restaurant is a pleasure to be in. The food portions were pretty generous too (especially considering the price). Thanks everyone.

It's a given that a supermarket cafe is not going to present gormet food. But food they do have is simple and edible. There's enough choice between moments where circumstances beyond their control (broken machinery etc). I've never had an issue with staff, they are simply very busy and a lot is asked from them- stretched too far and not paid enough to deal with the rudeness of people!

Shift manager quickly rectified problem after items were missing from order, a quick phone call, he told me to bring order back, and the entire order was replaced. Can’t ask for better than that!!!

Shocking Health and Safety on show. We called through drive through at 11pm on route home. Establishment was still fairly busy and upon arrival to collection window could clearly see under all the drinks machines etc and the floor and surrounding area was absolutely filthy. We’d already paid and was only getting Coffees so continued with collection. Come on McDonalds! I appreciate the branches are franchised, and that most franchisees will give a damn but many I fear don’t. Most staff seemed to be under 18yrs and obviously lacked the basic hygiene training.

Very good place for a coffee. Do not bother with food, one poor chap there had very very burnt sausages!! Our meal was OK ish took so long in coming out we had to ask when we were getting it or had they forgotten . There were only 8 people in the whole place so it was not as if it was busy!!! Perhaps we will visit again (NOT).

Sitting in was not an option. Take away only. The bacon and egg mcmuffin was inedible and after one bite went straight into the bin. The previous time I went there the tables were filthy, the excuse being that the normal cleaning lady was on holiday. Never again will I even think about eating there.

Service was good, pizza went in the bin. Same issue as elsewhere in town, tastes like frozen pizza, but frozen cheap pizza, like really cheap pizza, would of been happy if it tasted like Dr oetker, or goodfellas, even a Chicago town takeaway (which are trash), but no, was even worse than a Tesco £1 job, which I'd of still ate as it cost me £1, and I ain't wasting money, but this! Was not suitable for human consumption, left me well annoyed, and £10 lighter! Would of rather been forced to spend it on San Miguel and drink it, well maybe not that extreme, but it was as disgusting.

Popped in this evening with my 8 year old son. Both had burgers. Been to the Thatchers multiple times and NEVER receive all items which are advertised on the menu (I heard the table to my left complaining of the same). Always missing the salad or the sauce or the mushroom! We ordered, the food , mine was £15.99 for burger and chips, literally just burger and chips. No coleslaw, no salad. When the waitress delivered our food, she said 'did you need cutlery?' Err, yes please. She brought bare cutlery and plonked it on the table. I would have really appreciated a napkin. alas, no napkin. Burger was very nice (no lettuce as advertised) Chips were cold and very small portion. Table to our right sent food back for being cold! Overall assessment: Prices have risen, portions have got smaller, food has got poorer. Such a shame.

Typical of the brand. Not busy but a long wait to eat inside. Drive through didn't look busy either. Drinks dispenser had run out of juice and I got the wrong drink. Just a bad day at the office I think. Won't stop me going back there.

Up there with the worst burgers I’ve ever had. Cold and burnt (the burger was crunchy), and made with the cheapest ingredients, so had to send it back, came out abit warmer. The coleslaw tasted like it was Tesco essentials and so did the burger. The curry tasted like a microwave meal, and had a side of tzatziki??? And then we had to pay £19+ for each meal. The food is extremely overpriced for what you get. The service with slow but staff were friendly, probably the best thing about the experience. Don’t eat here if you’re staying at the hotel… because you’ll be extremely disappointed.

Came in for drinks and food with friends and family! Food was brilliant at a low cost the atmosphere was lovely too with it being bank holiday it’s was busy everything came out too us quickly we was served our drinks quickly and even managed too have a dance. Will be coming back for sure.

I stop here about twice a month for lunch and have been doing so since it opened a few years ago. Regarding negative reviews, I guess not many take time to say good reviews about a fast food stop! So..the service very much depends who you get! 2 members of staff (one lady been there years and one gent) go above and beyond to help and are fast, efficient and lovely. If you catch the younger lady (not a local accent) then you wait forever, get a rude reply and very much the can't do attitude! Luckily only caught her shift twice! The food service are is kept clean and hygienic with little to no salad items in each others bins like you see in some. Am pleased it is now open longer hours.

We had takeaway thin crust pizzas delivered from here with no problems. Food was good, hot and tasty. No complaints from us.

My elderly father and I went for a snack lunch, after shopping in the Range, but not impressed with anything I’m afraid. Chicken bakes were cold, tables and floor were really grubby and sticky and toilet and sinks absolutely disgraceful. Would not recommend and would not go again.
