Not again!!! when is this KFC Iva going to have chicken be open went to get some tonight only drive in (taken forever) not letting people in total rubbish 13/11 And yet again just tried at 5:30 guess what CLOSED !!!!! 🤯🤬

Didn't feel clean greasy marks on tables/chairs went to move tables twice but noticed most tables were covered in greasy finger /smear marks and the counter area stainless steel appliances looked filthy and as with everything these days portion sizes were tiny won't be visiting again 😔

Watered down drinks, waiting 30mins for a drive through, very short staffed...sort it out KFC

Avoid. All im going to say is no matter what time of day you go mcdonald's over the road is always busy, yet this kfc has no customers. The only customers they do have are people travelling. As local people know to avoid this place.

Have had a few wrong orders, and running out of chicken!

I've been to this restaurant 4 times and never eaten here, first 2 time the restaurant was closed due to "emergency" 3rd time they had no CHICKEN! but willing to sell chips and sides, yes that well known Kentucky Fried Chips. 4th time they had barracaded the drive thru with a bin 15 minutes before closing, if closing time is 20:00 close at 20:00, not 19:45. Thankfully there is a far better McDonald's opposite..they even stay open till closing time.

No air conditioning and extremely hot inside so had to sit outside with the kids, by the drive through traffic. Burnt chicken in the burger, greasy chicken drumstick, no napkins and a long wait while staff were arguing behind the counter.

Always missing something! This time 4 portions of chips, It’s so annoying! Paid for them and didn’t receive them!

This is the worst KFC in the UK, slow service, with long waits, and the ice cream machine has been broken for months now. The drive through is horrendous, for some reason you have to wait ages to order, then ages to pay and collect your food even for extremely simple orders. The inside is always full of mess and litter on most tables and you can only select take away option on the touch screen. Just don't bother.

Just want to say what a fantastic set of staff April, Kieran et al and a great manager Liz. Always great food and a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. My mate Steve and I go in every week and it is always good. See you soon guys

Could this be the worst KFC ever? Tables filthy, orders wrong, can't order at the till, you have to use the terminals which are frustratingly slow. Staff don't seem to understand what they should be providing as its alwsys wrong. Drinks taste awful. They automatically give you coke even if you want something else. Toilets need a deep clean, hand dryers don't work. Bins in the car park are overflowing. Other than that, it's pretty good. If your fussy about food hygiene, go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else.

I have my own couple of stories including incompetent till usage, rude supervisor, opening time conundrums, overcharging, missing items and an hour wait. Think that summarises - most people have covered everything that could go wrong, does! When people just want what KFC should do, chicken products, not brain surgery.

We should have checked. Our order was missing four bags of chips and the chicken resembled irradiated vermin. Totally different to how I remember KFC from years back. We won't risk going again!... Gross! 🤮

This KFC was fine up until a few months ago. Now you take a chance whether it is open or not which I suspect is due to lack of staff. It also isn’t very clean at times - yesterday despite half the restaurant closed off the rest of the floor and tables were filthy - the tables outside were cleaner! And as for the music (if you can call it that) well it is truly awful. If it carries on this way then I don’t see how it can survive.

Fairly slow service but everything was there that I had ordered

Most unpredictable fast food restaurant I've been to. No idea if they'll be open or not. Had some undercooked chicken a couple of times. The self service counters show take away option and not eat in, hardly ever get a receipt. The air con is always too cold. Napkins seem to be missing a lot.

Awful service. Over half an hour waited, got to the order speaker and no one was there to take our order.. AVOID

Now queued for 50 minutes as counter wasn't open, placed order and went to collection window and waited a further 10 minutes. When bag was passed over it felt cold so questioned it and it was checked and I was told it was hot. Got home and sure enough it was nearly stone cold, so much so that the fries and popcorn went in the bin. How can you run a drive through with only 3 people working. I go there regularly and over the last few weeks it has got worse and worse and I won't be using it again.

I’ve had faster Christmas dinners

Drove from Loddon as this is my nearest outlet. Ordered the Wicked Variety bucket and drove home to eat it, only to discover Luke warm food and no fries when there should be 4 portions. Tried calling them numerous times, but failed to answer. What a joke!

Probably the worst KFC I've ever visited. They close early, run out of food or you just wait forever. If it is open, check your order carefully !!! Seriously needs some senior manager to oversee the running of this restaurant as the place is abysmal. An embarrassment to any visiting tourists to the area!

Got about 12 chips and a disappointingly small piece of chicken in my fillet box meal - not worth £8.99. No wet wipes, napkins, or stirrer for my coffee. As the restaurant was closed I had to use the drive-thru and walk across the road to use the toilets in McDonalds.

Chicken was burnt. The burger bun was stale. I would never eat from there again. Think they would try and do a bit better as they have a mcdonalds opposit. Poor poor food. I would not even feed that to my dogs. They should have a warning sign up saying not fit for human consumption.

Well I'm totally shocked I've had a few decent meals from here, always gave fair review based on my experience and what's gone wrong,? We go in there yesterday. Went to counter to order as didn't have Specs. Anyway after waiting absolutely ages in a restaurant that was almost empty I was then told I could only order at the counter if I had cash. To be honest we just walked out and over to Macdonald's where of course I could order at the counter with my card. Very busy in there and you can see why,! KFC beccles you need to step up big time!!

What I want to know is there a reason that a "fast food" restaurant is closing at 7pm on a Friday night on a busy road? Absolute joke. Third time visiting this place since it opened, three times too many.

Accidentally found this restaurant while making my way home from a day out in Gt Yarmouth, service was fast, food hot and cooked well, very happy

Been sat here for 20 minutes in drive thru. One girl taking orders and giving out food. In between she’s delivering to customers in car park!! Can’t escape just about to say no thank you!!! Got to window chicken wings or chicken wings and a long wait. No thanks!!

Awful place to go. Had to wait 30 minutes for a meal. Ricebox...should come with rice, salad chicken and beans...only came with 3 beans 🫘. And the chicken was cold. That's a fast food place and the meals should have quality. Really bad management. If they can't run the place, close the doors. I will never go back

Not very busy, so couldn't believe how disgusting the tables and floor were...... you could clearly see they had obviously not been cleaned for hours and everyone that walked in, made comment. After we cleaned one of the tables ourselves, a KFC employee then wandered around the filthy restaurant aimlessly, but to just return behind the counter to chat with other staff. For the 20+ minutes we were there, the staff, not very busy, just chatted amongst themselves, happy the restaurant was disgutantly unhygienic!! Regretted not taking photos! Food was overcooked and bland, I used to enjoy KFC..... NEVER again!

Wish we would have looked at the reviews before hand. First of all my husband didn't get his army discount which he gets everywhere else. The burger roll was cold so the food got cold quickly. The sides were so small you needed a magnifying glass to find them. 7 or 8 chips in a portion and a tiny pot of coleslaw. And the tables were all dirty, even as they weren't busy. And I wish I would have seen how dirty the floor was before letting my jacket hang over the chair. And that was not the dirt from that day. The fact they weren't busy but the other place across the road was heaving should have been a warning sign. Never again!

It took so long to even take order at the screen. Then again, ages to collect . Only ordered 3 small mini fillet meals. Although it was all cooked fresh as was hot. There was no customer service, very dull, and did not communicate.

Visited here 3 times. First 2 times was told they had run out of chicken!! The last time, successfully ordered a 6 piece bargain bucket, only to get home to discover all 6 pieces were drumsticks, no breast or thighs.

Not busy when I called at 15.45 weekday ,food not that great chicken popcorn and chips all seemed kept warm not very fresh,zinger burger £5.50 I think but v disappointed I will not rush back . And door is so difficult to open ....

Got there at 11 which is when it says it opens. I drove through the Drive-Thru twice, with no response from anyone. I then went and walked up to the door, which was locked. A staff member was sat eating food and signalled that they would open in 20 minutes. So I waited, and it took even longer than that. After waiting for so long simply for 2 x Krushems for my children, they told me the machine wasn’t working. Now if you really know, what they mean by that is that they either can’t be bothered to make it, or the machine isn’t clean. Seems like the staff who work here just do whatever they want. Doesn’t matter what the opening times are, it’s on their own accord. Had quite a few people also not be served and wait as long as I did. Will definitely never come back to this joke of a restaurant

Second time visiting. First time was closed during open hours sign said opening in 15 minutes, waited around for someone to come and without word change sign for a closed one. Second time we were told we can’t order a large pop corn chicken as they didn’t have enough (yet our meal comes with one) we got home to find they must be short on chips also as there was literally a few chips in each packet. Worst kfc we have ever used.

Saturday evening at 8pm ! Drove here to get the gravy triple bucket , went to put in my order and told that they can’t serve me as they only have ONE Piece of chicken left . I wish I was joking . Went to Mc Donald’s opposite instead as they had more than a one piece. No apology no nothing . Serious questions need to be asked of this franchise.

First time I've been to this KFC, and probably the last. Only went as my daughter had an offer for a mega gravy meal and I thought well I'm going through the drive through so I might as well get just a fillet burger. Simple you would think? Well it wasn't, as most reviews on here the place is a shambles from start to finish. Their was only 1 car in the drive through system so I thought it would be quick, wrong. Waited ages at the speaker to be served, not sure why? Waited ages a the service hatch, again not sure why when we only ordered 2 of the menu's basics. But still with an offer the bill came to nearly a tenner, at this point I am wishing I had stopped at the golden arches I had just driven passed. Anyway got the food and drove home only to find despite being billed for my basic small order I had the wrong order which was even more basic!!! I could maybe understand missing 1 item from a large order, but completely messing up a small order, what sort of people do they employ here? I got a small box of popcorn chicken and 2 small bags of these weird herbie fries and instead of a fillet burger I got a zinger burger!!! Take my advice and most of the others posting on here, avoid this place!!! PS, driving an average size car through the very tight drive through is a nightmare, let alone anything bigger!!!

Typical KFC, chicken was slighly overdone and dry and the chips were not hot just warm, avoid and have a Mackie D instead, or just wait until you get to where your going and I'm sure you will pass something that grabs your appetite.

Used the drive and and it took over 15mins to go though and this is the second time in two weeks and the dinner wasn’t busy in fact people where walking in and getting food faster.

Lost track how many times I have been here now and yet not been able to get any food, doors always locked and they state I have to use the drive through, if only a HGV will fit, what a joke

Complete waste of time opening a KFC when it's a complete shambles. Meant to close for takeaway at 9pm. Doors locked at 7:50 tonight. And not the first time. Opens later than stated am times. Even a manager from Lowie brought in to run the place now working in Lidil. Waste of a business unit.

20 minutes to get served when there was 3 people in front no ketchup for the kids and we had to have jumpers and coats on as it was like sitting in a freezer

The food didn't was the best. The restaurant was clean and tidy.

What a joke of a place. Walked in to a packed resteraunt to hear everyone was waiting for food. Approached the till and asked could we step aside so a refund could be given as they've run out of chicken. After the refund we were then left waiting for 10 mins while the manager packed up food. I called out are we going to get served, the manager came over all flustered informing me about the abuse she had received all day, burst out crying and walked if behind the food stalls and was never seen again leaving a nice young man to take the heat from further customers who were complaining.

Where to start? I have literally been in downtown Baghdad takeaway and received better friendlier service than here, and I’m pretty sure one of them was harbouring an IED. Naturally, on the busiest days of the week at roughly 1900 the indoors is often closed resulting in the glacial drive through as the only option. Where you will be frequently told they are out of the exact item you wanted. I have received NHS surgery quicker than the Gillingham KFC on average. You’d think the App would help in order time but just to help that doesn’t give you an option to order for the Gillingham location either. Covering all the bases here…. I’ve even been told I can’t use my military ID as it has to be done through the App only which makes perfect KFC sense when I’m sat there at the drive through menu feeling like the old lady from the titanic waiting 84 years showing my ID. But fear not avid review reader, when in doubt look to the East and you will see light in the form of the Golden Arches. A 9/10 McDonalds located just 100m from this raging forest fire of a chicken takeaway option.

Awful, they don’t even know their own menu fully at the drive thru. Avoid the drive thru at all costs, 4 cars will take a minimum of 30 mins. Rude staff, management are patronising and unapologetic when they’re proven to be wrong. Run by kids with terrible management, there seems to be a total lack of training given to the staff. I guarantee this will be the worst KFC you’ll ever visit. Definitely not fast food, half of it is either run out or you’ll receive it cold.

Best kfc in Suffolk, had a rocky start when it opened so gathered bad reviews to start but now it's been open a while the quality is up Food was what I expect it to be so 5stars with the consideration of fast food quality. There is a reason this drive through is scored so low, the staff don’t have a clue what they are doing!? It’s been open for a while now and everytime there is a mess up on my order. Burgers made incorrectly or the entire zinger, cheese and salsa missing from. Zinger Tower Burger, this happens more often than not. You drive off and there’s no fricking napkins or fresh wipe in the bag, IM EATING WITH MY HANDS, I WILL CLEARLY NEED WIPES without having to beg for them everytime I visit!? The wait sometimes is unbearable, you’d think when they take their time as they do, they’d get the order right? No. 1) Never visit if you’re short of time. 2) Always check every item handed to you. 3) Never assume you’ll get a napkin. 4) Good luck, it’s worth it on the rare occasion it’s right.

I don’t think I’ve ever come across such a shambolic fast food restaurant in my life. Every single trip to this place is abysmal, to the point that I travel an extra 20 miles. Last 2 times inside has been shut at 6:30 for no apparent reason, the time before drive thru was shut, and the time before they had no wings and no pop corn chicken. The staff are beyond rude and are stood chatting whilst some people have been waiting for an HOUR which alone is mental, to then be asked by those people what’s taking so long and just get told they are short staffed, whilst stood chatting and not even serving people at the till -_- Genuinely unbelievable, everytime you go there’s an advertisement on the door for managers and staff and everytime you come it’s a different team, makes you wonder what on earth the area manager is doing.

Every time been here always running out of chicken of some kind and now popcorn chicken tonight . So couldn’t have a family bucket meal without these or wouldn’t give us any thing else instead so end up paying more to make a meal .

Super super busy! Queuing for food for at least 20mins, the staff was lovely especially considering there was only one guy taking orders , taking money and handing out food, they definitely need more staff! Food was of kfc standard and nothing was missing from my order.

Well, I've never till today been locked in a KFC premises because staff couldn't keep up with orders. First I wasn't allowed to pay card at the main till as its 'cash only' apparently, no signage anywhere to suggest this is the case and not just a personal preference of the server. Waited 40minutes for order, sat in and ate and was then locked inside with many others when the server decided to lock the doors with no announcements or nothing, ended up with my 4 Yr old crying her eyes out because she thought we wasn't going to be able to get out of there. Left through the fire exit in the end. Needless to say, I won't be returning anytime soon, and if they don't get more staff or a handle during busy times you may aswell close the place instead of involuntary locking the public in your establishment! Ridiculous! Oh and also how many chicken legs in a 10pc bucket, 8 is the answer was the rest of the birds pieces locked away and all...

Have been here 2 times recently, both times they’ve had no gravy. Gravy is nearly as important as the chicken - If you keep running out, order more! Not happy

Moronic, ignorant staff….. after completely buggering the first order up, they offered a free replacement, which is appreciated, on the return visit, the manager redone the order, I asked is it ok, his reply..” yes I did it myself” trusting him a arrived home lookinforward to my meal… on opening the order all the chips were missing, I called up the “restaurant” and explained what had happened, the manager’s response was “ sorry didn’t realise you got chips in a family feast” Pay peanuts, get monkeys ! Absolutely muppets… Colonel Sanders would be spinning in bargain bucket

I used the drive thru which was pretty efficient. However, I didn't get napkins, and I couldn't find any inside either. The toilets were quite clean. Zinger tower burger was good, but I had very few chips (around 10). I'm not sure if it was normal

Not Sure what’s happened to their coating but it’s not as crispy as it used to be. KFC was my favourite fast food but in the last few years it seems to have got worse. Also when you buy a 6 piece bargain bucket you don’t expect to receive FOUR tiny chicken legs one wing and one breast of chicken.

By far the slowest place on earth - from time of ordering at the self serve kiosk to receiving my order was nearly 15 minutes. However my order had been sat at the pass for 10 minutes with no-one bothering to call it out or update the screen to say it was ready. Shambolic!

Walked half the restaurant was closed off so lots of people bunched together. Once got the food it wasn't exactly fresh. I wouldn't recommend it if you love your KFC

Went to kfc beccles drive through around 7pm this evening 08/07/23 and firstly tried ordering through speaker man said I can’t hear u come to window 2. Done that then ordered and found 2 white 1inch hairs in my chicken decker burger then when chucked that I opened my bargain bucket and went to start eating, after one mouthful I noticed a lot of pink inside on the chicken so had to chuck it. And on top of that I noticed the chicken had been smothered in salt which led me to thinking that this chicken may be off or near off! Iam a fully qualified chef for 10 years so I know when things are not cooked properly and this is what you served me to feed my kids . All in all cost me £56. What a waste! Don’t eat here .

Very long wait at drive thru, I appreciate they are busy but compared to anywhere else, it is a nightmare.

This place has had more than it's fair share of troubles. Wonky tables, running out of many key ingredients, crazy queues due to either a shortage of staff or some really poor organisation +once got stuck in the drive thru queue for over an hour and you can't get out once you are in it). Frequently the machines in store don't reflect what is actually available, don't print receipts or show takeaway only even when everyone is sitting in. Having said all that... The KFC is as you would expect and if you go in without expectations of anything more than eventually coming out with something off the menu then you may well be ok.

Only eaten there once and the food was pretty good compared to the horror show that is KFC in Lowestoft.

Very slow at receiving the order and wasn’t very busy the long wait was due to the staff getting orders wrong and being shouted at by the manager , food was very greasy and portion size of the chips was disappointing approx 9chips!
