Good foodand prices, fast delivery,

Not very happy with a large rock and chips .had to wait well over an hour for delivery. Because driver went to wrong house .when we complained was told we would freshly cooked fish and chips . Got them fifteen minutes later and they cold and fish was well over cooked probably a warm up. Will not be going there again

Best kebab in the city. The donner in particular is amazing. (Also worth noting the chicken kebab (-pitta), chips and burger is gluten free

Decent chippy!! A quick stop for dinner on my return home. Avenue Fish, Chicken and Pizza make a good batter and nice chips. I would probably stop in here again if it’s on my route.

Really good chippy, decent food decent prices but I wish they delivered further.

Waited for an absolute age to actually be served for a single portion of chips. Not once did one of the two staff even acknowledge I was there. They were both more interested in answering the phone and putting together delivery orders. Then when I was actually served she laughed that I had waited all that time for a single portion of chips. Not impressed

Normally the food is lovely but not on this occasion the cod was so overcooked & dry … very disappointing

Such a shame to be leaving a one star review. The fish and chips were tasty however you would expect that when you wait almost 2 hours for cod chips and curry sauce that the chips are hot on arrival and the curry sauce has not been forgotten. We then waited a further 30 mins for the curry sauce to be delivered by which time our food was stone cold and the curry sauce wasnt even a large which is wait we ordered.

To date have not had a bad meal so far. We like to order either online or phone, and alwaysbon time. Food regularly good and well cooked.

Lovley fish and chips lovley serviceand the curry sauce is the best I have had well worth the money.

Nice local fast food. Always seems busy nowadays without anyone being in there waiting 🤷‍♂️ I guess they deal with a lot more deliveries now.

Fish cooked fresh to order, perfect every time. Generous portions too.

Entered during open times, saw people get served before me and then I got told bluntly ‘there’s no chips left for you’. Lady was just unnecessarily rude. I’ll never return.

Me and my friends did an order in store and I clearly asked for chips, and my friend asked for nuggets, when we got our orders apparently the items weren’t put through….

It's an OK place slow delivery but food OK and warm I wouldn't go out of my way to come back

A good portion of fish and chips that's tasty as well. Not much more to say than that really.

Waited 1 Hour and 40 mins for delivery even though only 1.7 mile away. I could have walked there and back twice in that time. As for the food, Sausage in batter and chips. It looked and tasted like it had been re-fried or left under the heat lamps from the time it was ordered. The batter was a dark brown colour rather than a golden colour that a decent chippy would provide. It was very thin, not much thicker than the sausage skin itself! Chips were cold and looked and tasted like they had been cooked in dirty oil. Overall a very unpleasant meal. I will not be using again.

Was good for first couple of times and this time we paid good money for dog vomit in a box.

The price is good, we had a child's meal and it came with an activity book and crayons, really good... My only complaint(a small one) is that the batter on the fish was very dark and overly oily...love this place..

Normally good food however we ordered the food at 7pm which was a chicken burger and cheesy chips. It arrived at 8.30 completely ice cold. The burger had literally been thrown together both items was immediately thrown in the bin. Will not use this place again

The chips were very poor quality,seemed they had been cooked and cooked again,but ,over cooked.i would not want to have chips from there again..The potatoes were old potatoes i think and was very disappointed.

Very good quality food, friendly staff and the shop itself is very clean. I'm not a regular but I've used his chip shop many times and never been disappointed. Their lunch time offers are great value for money. Best chippy west of Norwich

The last 3 orders from avenue have all been great. Good food quality, lovely cheese, great taste and really cheap. Ordered again tonight, no different. Even got a bottle of coke free for the order being late?? I didn't even realise it was late? Must of only been a couple of minutes but appreciate the gesture nevertheless. Really good.

As our usual chip shop had closed due to lockdown we were looking on Just Eat for an alternative. As these offered delivery it seemed worth a try. So glad we did. Very polite guy with contact free delivery, food was great. Lovely and hot, batter on the fish perfect, burger was delicious and chips were just right. Lost a star due to over a 2 hr wait but we were warned of this upon ordering. Not really surprising as i'm sure they are very busy. Will definitely order from here again.

Ordered a kebab. Think they started cooking it a week ago. Never seen a takeaway serve burnt kebab meat before. Terrible. First and only visit

When the new potatoes first came out the chips were the best..but since short lived..I've had to throw them out a few times.trying to find any with potato in..Had about 4.. Over cooked just bits..had to rely on Chinese chips! Such a shame..

Absolutely RANK food! avoid like the plague! a friend and I ordered from here last night, and the "Pizza" I had was disgusting! the meat on the pizza was clearly frozen cheap product, the pizza base was dried out, the cheese was basically non existent and it was cold! quite literally ate one slice and the rest went in the bin. The fact I have to put 1 start is an insult! I would have rather eaten beans on toast! how this place is still running amazes me with rubbish like that being served!!

Can't believe what my wife bought home for dinner! chips were dry tasted like last week's maybe the oil needs changing portions inconsistent more like weight watchers size portions looks like we will drive to Rembrandt at Easton in future the extra distance is worth it as the quality is 10x better. The picture makes these look ok but taste is not as good.

This is one of the worst places I've been to! Ordered through Just Eat.... Waited 2 HOURS for the order to be delivered for it to arrive incomplete with missing food items. Called them up to have the lady tell me to call Just Eat and get a refund even though we bad paid cash on the door!! When I asked her to deliver the missing item she went on to shout that she'd had enough of people complaining that night and put the phone down on me. Customer Service was appalling and good merely medeoca. Never again

ordered through just eat, order was cancelled without reason but was still charged. had to wait for a week to get money returned. when i phoned to complain the staff hung up on me. the shop itself looks dirty and in need of a good clean. i dont believe the food safety certificate they have. will never use again. stay away!!

Very tasty food. HOWEVER could do with a major clean. Loads of dust on time edging behind the food counters.

Just had yet another perfect delivery of a few dozen meals for our social club supper night. As usual, all the meals were correct (real achievement as the orders were very varied including several different types of fish; burgers, and pizza), and arriving at exactly the requested time and still piping hot. Well done Avenue Fish, Chicken & Pizza, and Thank You.
