Shocking took 2 hours to arrive, came cold and missing our drinks, driver didn’t even apologise. Absolutely fuming, it was a £40 order too!!

Great food alwaya piping hot and delivered woth a smile, i ask for extea hot curry and it always comes the way i like it. I live in diss and they deliver here its great and definitely better than all the places local.

We were looking forward to a treat! Massive disappointment! Special fried rice! Dry! All over cooked, NOT FRESH! All of the rice tasted of was off prawns! 🤢 The chips, maybe reheated in fryer so way over cooked! Sweet & sour chicken balls, batter like rubber! Chicken dry! Prawn crackers £2.99 online, called to add them, £3:40 she told me on phone! Gross all round! 🤢 Sits here in kitchen thinking if it was sent to a lab it surely wouldn't be good results ! 🤔 Chicken curry rubber once again! Must be struggling with all the cut backs! Keeping food that shouldn't be kept etc 🤢 I wonder what there kitchen's like 🤔 £23.50 what a waste!! Beans on toast would have been the answer to this one !!! 🙄

This is meant to be a meal for 1 chicken chow main chicken and special fried rice. Not impressed had to leave a review... Plus was over charged. Worst dish I've ever had from this place... DRY AND NOT EDIBLE

Good can be a little hit and miss, generally good quick service.

Ordered today, paid and no delivery. When I phoned them they blamed order yoyo. Had to ring them and stay on hold for ages just to get a refund in 3-5 business days. So going to bed hungry after a hard days work. Will not be ordering again.

Some genuinely inedible food. Never tried this restaurant, and never will again. Ordered delivery online. I had duck and cashew nuts, barely a cashew, the duck was 60% fat, and there was no sauce, just a slightly vinegar based clear liquid. The sweet and sour sauce was wrong too. Ribs were ok.

Staff were very pleasant, not to keen on hearing sneezing in the kitchen. Door was open to the kitchen where you could see chicken out on display on a table top and not refrigerated. Service was quick. Food was appalling rice was dry, chicken balls tasted old.for the price you pay you would expect tasty food not food that's only good for a tramp to pull out of a bin. Won't be using it again!

Ordered takeaway told 8.30-8.50 for delivery an hour later no food, no contact, no explanation and not answering telephone calls, very unhappy customer 😡😡

Don't ever work for them as they mess you around for your pay. They think it's acceptable to for delivery to work for free. Delivery drivers be aware.

Called up and got answered immediately, oredered a meal for 4 and it was delivered nice and quickly, piping hot and absolutely amazing. Best Chinese in town.

I ordered from here online. Food took an average time to come. However on multiple occasions they have messed up my order or got my food wrong. When I call back asking about it they sey they will send a replacement but never do. When called about it again they just hang up. If you want what you paid for I DO NOT recommend ordering from here.

Had takeaway last night.Tried to phone,could not get through. I eventually ordered online. It was awful. Gone way downhill since I last had one. Sweet and sour sauce was horrid,beef tasted off,portion sizes have reduced.

Terrible. Totally tasteless, and rice with miniscule pineapple and a few peas with watery sauce you can't taste is apparently worth over £5. Also no cashews we paid for as extra, and no Internet discount as we walked in.

The most awful Chinese I’ve ever had. It was delivered cold. One of the dishes, satay chicken skewers, was swimming in oil. The chicken was rock hard. The sweet and sour chicken balls had clearly been heated in the microwave as the texture was so soggy. Do not waste your money. It’s horrible

Got an order placed today. The food was good except for finding a massive piece of plastic inside one of the prawn toasts. It's good I only bit into it and have not swallowed it! Very disappointed. Will not be ordering again.

Food cold on delivery, I do mean cold, not the 1st time. waiting near 2 hour, taste like it was cooked the day before. Sorry but payment was for a nice meal and that's not what I got

I ordered my normal Chinese and they messed up the order completely, when I rang to complain I examined my order and what we got and they sent the order again and yep it was exactly the same as before . I wanted extra onion no mushrooms I got mushroom no onion my partner wanted mushroom with little onion and got lots of onion and enough mushrooms to do a family at Sunday lunch but no meat. We ordered beef curry and rice only got 1 fried rice instead of 2. Second order was correct on the rice but curry was wrong.

I have a mushroom Curry and it's cooked every time to perfection , food is excellent . I love ordering my take away from golden wok golden wok is the only takeaway near me that I'd have any takeaway from I have a phase at the moment curry and chips they I arrive to me in perfect condition and there tasty every time

Ordered from this Chinese a few times now and it's always taken over 2 hours to deliver from Harleston to Bungay, the final straw was finding a long grey hair in our food so we are not ordering from here anymore as this has put us off.

Always so friendly and helpful no matter who serves us. Our meals are always piping hot, crispy shredded beef always very crispy, good value, easy to use online ordering. They do get exceptionally busy at weekends so be prepared to wait but its worth it. They even helped us out by delivering outside their usual radius on a quiet midweek evening which we were so grateful for whilst self isolating.

Have had several deliveries of food during lockdown & since - consistently very good. Would absolutely recommend this establishment

Not nice, over an hour and a half we had to wait for delivery considering they are no more than 15 minutes away. The food was so cold it had to be reheated to even attempt to eat it and they missed prawn crackers off not for the first time. We have spent some good money with them on a few occasions and unfortunately we always regret it. No more chances, we wont be using them again weve learnt our lesson.

The order took over an hour to arrive but this wasn't a problem as we were having one of those easy nights and didn't mind waiting. The food was absolutely worth the wait, spent £35 including delivery and it probably could have fed 4 people instead of 2, some of the best satay sauce i've ever had too. We even had difficulty keeping the dog away from the rice and seaweed

Excellent food, customer service is a bit hut and miss. We've ordered from here about 10 times and 8/10 were perfect. The few problems we had were when they sent the wrong dish and promised to send out a replacement, but it never arrived. Don't be afraid to phone them and insist on a refund if that happens. I would still recommend the food as totally worth it. In particular the King po bean curd and szechuan bean curd, which go very nicely with egg fried rice or chow mein.

We use this Chinese takeaway a lot and I must say up to yesterday it has been good but very disappointed last night as I had a long hair in my chicken curry and my son had hairs in his chips so this has put my off ordering in future I may ring them up and ask them how this has happened overall they have been good up to now

Ordered from here a few times and the first time must’ve been a lucky day because each time since, it’s been bad. Delivery is over an hour at least, from a place only 10 miles down the road. Food arrives dumped on the doorstep, stone cold and sometimes half missing. I could use closer Chinese takeaways but because the first time was so lovely I thought I’d stick there and now I think the first one was the exception and not the rule. If an eating/takeaway establishment cannot deliver hot food in a timely fashion then don’t advertise as delivery available to the area! I’m going to stick to local from now on

Ordered at 8:30, no food still at 10:30. Been phoning them since 10:10, seems they have taken the phone off the hook.

We ordered from here last night for the first time and I was very disappointed - the food was cold, the chicken chow mein had been swapped for a horrible pork S+S dish, the fried mushrooms had been swapped for seaweed and the extra pot of sauce I paid for was on 1/4 full. Never again - cant wait for Kam moon to re open

We use the app to order. Always amazing service, food is so tasty. Recommend the ribs in bbq sauce. So tasty. Drivers are always polite. We have tried most of the menu now, nothing but nothing has disappointed us.

Great food... but rubbish delivery times. Within 30 seconds of placing order txt saying 40mins delay. Took over 2 hours from order to receiving takeaway. We live 10 minutes away?

One of two in Harleston, busy on the night I visited so slow with a half hour wait but the foods good. Food is served inplastic reusable cartons rather than the foil cartons if you have a preferance. Family prefer this one I prefer the other but their both good take your pick.

DO NOT NOT ISE THIS RESTAURANT - GLASS FOUND IN FOOD. We have used the Golden Wok several tones and the food has normally been ok although normally very late. However this time we placed a big order of £70.10 and within the Singapore Noodles found a large piece of glass, needless to say it put everyone off their food. When speaking to the eesstaurang they were unwilling to make a refund but wanted to take the glass even sending a delivery driver to collect the glass, which I was unwilling to hand over.

Looking at some (older) reviews here it seems that considerable positive changes have been made in the last few months. Phoned through my order and collected myself. I was asked when I'd be arriving - good, so the food wouldn't be going cold while I drove there. Great friendly and efficient service from the chap who works front of house, both over the phone and in person. Seemingly happy punters there when I arrived and it was busy for a weeknight. Food was well prepared and delicious. Having tried the local competition previously, certainly the best in town. Golden Wok has to be the 'go to' for Chinese in Harleston.

Very good food now that is under new management polite service and manners delivery driver very eager to please,5 stars from me.

This takeaway delivers to a wide area and because shortage of drivers they struggle when busy.

no stars!!!!!!!!!!! order 2 hours late!!!!!! abuse over phone ( we are busy) turns up cold and late despite being cancelled by them but paid by card. Phone operator offer refund or cancellation, then put phone down, was aggressive and really unhelpful and abusive, and it turned up 2 hours late after efficient company delivered next order early. Want refund and apology but all web sites point you away from this

Staff extremely rude orders late and often missing items. Accused us of stealing from them when we complain and block us. DO NOT USE apparently other restaurants in harleston are much better
