Amazing cod and chips, unbeatable in the Maldon, Heybridge area. Always freshly cooked and so tasty.

Lovely hot, fresh food. Very reasonable prices. Friendly and caring staff, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere. My husband loved his ale and our foster son was very relaxed which is something he usually struggles with. My mum is in a wheelchair and she was accommodated very well. Overall a very enjoyable lunch. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely walk then stopped for Sunday lunch. Well cooked roast but HUGE. Great value.staff were friendly and the garden was pretty.

Went for the first time for early sitting on NYE. On arrival we stood and waited for sometime behind the takeaway order queue. I think maybe there should be a separate area for this. After Asking to be seated we were shown to our table after around 10 mins. The restaurant was pretty empty so that could have been avoided. The food was very good. My chicken pasanda was succulent and the sauce delicious. All the dishes were very well presented Everyone enjoyed their food. Staff were very pleasant and efficient. We live locally and will definitely use all the time.

So glad they opened up when they did. Been using one in Bentalls centre up the road that's gone downhill. Food here is always freshly cooked and tastes great. Staff really friendly. Would be 5 stars if you had a card machine to pay with. Definitely use these from now on. Food is great. Now given 5 stars as they now take card

Some of the staff are lovely and can't do enough but the most recently employed couldn't really care less. They don't listen to what you want and just go their own ways. Some training in proper customer service might help. I go regularly - if certain staff are on the till, I turn around and go to Costa over the road. It's such a shame because most of the people who work there are just lovely.

Good friendly staff make the venue agreeable and inviting, food is ok but uninspiring. Fairly priced and reasonable quality, typical fast food american diner fare.

One of my favourite fast-food joints in all of Maldon. Delivery is always super quick, and personally, the pizza food tastes better and is of higher quality than any local competitors, including chain restaurants like Domino's or Papa John's.

I ordered food online. Selected collection time. Food was ready when I arrived. The lady behind the counter was very smiley and nice. Food was excellent. Will definitely use again

Don't not under any circumstances order food from Maldon king. Manager is rude missing half order food cold sons food burn refused to give refund
