Chilli Bangladeshi Cuisine Maldon in Maldon

As we arrived me and my friends had just finished walking the dogs it was a large group of us, and as soon as my friends walked into the bar they were told to cover up—even though we were dressed casually in baggy tracksuit bottoms and gym tops. The staff were cold and unwelcoming, making us feel uncomfortable and even watching us through the window, which felt intrusive and judgmental. We came to relax and enjoy a meal, but the experience was far from what we expected. Definitely not the lunch we had hoped for.

Great pub, very accommodating when we arrived with bikes they showed us where to store them securely and made sure we had a table where we could see them. Very friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely come back

Amazing cod and chips, unbeatable in the Maldon, Heybridge area. Always freshly cooked and so tasty.

Delicious food, beautifully presented, great variety and more than you'd expect from a gastropub. Lovely list of additional specials. Good selection of wines. We went for late lunch early dinner so very quiet and a lovely vibe. Got much busier as we were leaving. Our waitress Rebecca was excellent. Friendly, cheerful and efficient. Would definitely recommend this place.
