Very friendly staff. Honestly the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten, very flavoursome! The naan bread! Wow, large was bigger than a dinner plate. It’s so lovely to see a family run business who take a real politeness to their customers and make them feel valued! Will definitely go back!

Thoroughly enjoyed my evening here! The staff were very welcoming and had good recommendations. The food was delicious, meat cooked perfectly, tasty and tender. The staff even bought out a birthday dessert without us asking as they had just noticed the presents on the table! Such a lovely thought.

Celebrated a 50th birthday and we couldn’t haven’t been looked after any better by Sarah. We were a group of 13 and she kept us all fed and watered, and the restaurant provided a nice cake at the end. Cocktails were lovely, Tapas was very good, I especially enjoyed the meatballs and ham croquettes but others had their own favourites. A memorable night!

To celebrate Valentine's Day, three of us descended on TDH which had a special menu for the occasion, and we weren't disappointed. On entering the glass doors we were greeted with delightful warmth by Cimi, Arto, and all at TDH. It was wonderful catching up with Cimi and Arto, whom we've come to know for some years now, since the Olive Tree days, and the chat, banter, and laughter soon began. The decor remains unchanged: romantic, recessed lighting, light-coloured walls with quirky figureheads, a full-bar with seating on your left, and expansive sliding glass doors on your right which opens onto a covered terraced area for al fresco dining. We were shown to our table by Arto, and Cimi graciously supplied us with complimentary Proseccos - great. Then my wife, Angela, and my sister Gilda received a rose each, which was a nice gesture. We soon made our selection. Two went for the Prawn and Caviare Cocktail, and one went for the Asparagus and Parma Ham; it was all presented and prepared to perfection in freshness and flavour. For our mains, we all went for the Lobster Tail and Panfried Scallops on a bed of rice in a Bisque sauce, which was tasty, fresh, and beautifully prepared. This culinary perfection was baptised with a perfectly chilled Sauvignon Blanc. For our dessert, two of us devoured the Chocolate Tart, and one of us demolished the Sticky Toffee Pudding and ice cream. The singer/pianist Danny Mills was astounding: his vocals had the hint of jazziness which put a unique stamp on his renditions of certain classics, and he had a faultless phrasing on the piano. What more could one ask for for a Valentine celebration? All the elements were there: great food, great music and, above all, stupendous chat and laughter from all at TDH. Sunday roast had a bad presentation and a worse taste. Meat was way overcooked, potatoes were tasting to vinegar and cod didn’t have flavour at all.

First time I dined here , I would have given 5stars for food . Second time it was it was good . This is third & last. Cold food , overcooked food . Service non existent . How hard can it be to cook & prepare a traditional roast dinner. Burnt hard potatoes This was poor , poor , poor.

Had a mixed Shish the chicken was dry and lamb was just lumps of fat. Very expensive for what you get. Although the staff were very good. This was a very large family event and all 8 tables were charged extortionate service fee and it total that came to £280 an absolute joke when we only had 2 servers. It took them over an hour for us to all pay as there was items on the bills that we didn’t get and unfortunately we decided just to pay and get out. But most certainly will not be returning.

Had an amazing lunch and was served by Gold. Great service attentive and very friendly.

We always love coming to the Hollybush as a family with a pre-schooler. It's welcoming, friendly and casual. The food is decent and there's a great selection of drinks.
