A really nice cosy pub with 2 bars, plenty of outside seating. Efficient, friendly staff. Plenty of parking at front n rear where pots of beautful plants lined the area. Doesnt do food but good place to meet, talk n drink. Will definitely return

New management are poor. Very clicky pub. Drugs are taken and sold on the premises.

Perfect to have a drink with your friends, family and dog. It's a drinks only pub.

This isn’t to criticise your food or service because I haven’t got a problem with that, so I’ve just given you 5 stars for everything. I’m not sure who is in charge of the Christmas lights at night, but at night time when you are trying to sleep the constant quick flashing makes it very hard to sleep. I took this video at 12:30 am (hopefully I can insert video). And these lights just kept flashing into my room. I wouldn’t mind as much if the night was still young or if the lights were on but not flashing, but that’s not the case.

First time I've been in a long time, and it was great! Friendly staff, good music from the DJ, friendly crowd. It's a bit cramped inside but still good to mingle, cosy. I'll be going again!

What a giggle. Great atmosphere bonus night! The last Saturday of the month is Karaoke night. We had an absolute blast! Lovely people in the pub, great drink. Can't wait till next month!

The Carpenters Arms is a great pub that dates back to the old style beer houses. There's no other pub in Loughton that possesses that kind of style. It has more than ample outdoor seating for the present times during government regulations but to be inside the Carpenters Arms is something to look forward to. It has such a great character inside that most pubs do not possess. Well worth a visit.

Friendly service, no frills. Beer prices are decent. Walking distance to Epping Forest. Could do with some tlc but good experience overall.
