Beautiful Italian with brilliant food at reasonable prices! If you love pizza you'll love this place!

I got here with my family just by chance, and what a pleasant meal we had. The staff is very friendly and professional, with excellent customer service. The food was tasty and well presented,and it didn't take long between courses. The dessert was to die for, really nice. The best tiramisù I ever had. We are planning to return soon. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Fabulous menu with great choice. Perfect portion sizes. Service fab. Will go again.

Very cosy and clean restaurant with a very nice, attentive manager and good quality food and service, lots of choice on the menu and helpful regarding gluten free diet. Highly recommend the seared scallops, fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked.

I was recommended by a friend of mine, but unfortunately I wasn't lucky at all. If I am going to expend that much money, at least I expect the food to be good. My starter was prawn cocktail salad, which was really hot, so much sauce and no flavour. Ans you charge me £9.95 I eat it but was scared to get straight away sick as I look like I've been out all day waiting for someone to order. My main was Pollo Al limone. Breast chichen with white wine, lemon ans capers sauce. Sorry, but first my chicken was slices of chicken. 3 thinner slices (no a breast), second was rubber so hard to eat. The sauce wasn't white wine and lemon and capers sauce. You guys put 3 caper one on top of each slice?????? 1 slice of lemon and gravy plain no favour sauce!!!! What is going on vegetable over cook 2 pieces of brocoli over cook a few hard carrots. And for that you charge me £19.95 come on? My partner order "Grilled lamb scuttles I rosemary sauce and wine juice.. the scuttles was not grilled at all was normal pan fried. Second the sauce was exsactly like mine because we try both sauces... the same vegetables over and under cook. Ans the lamb was rubber again he could not eat it. He cut all in pieces because he was thinking may be could be one area. But no all the same. And you charge me £75 something I can't remember I was so angry. I leave only £80 I couldn't think to pay more extra for services . Oh ans to complement the table next to us order 3 different think. Ha ha all come exsactly with the same sauce and same vegetables like a production order all the same only change the meat. Come on guys you really need to have personal review and discuss with your chefs or call "Gordon Ramsay TV show" to help you with the restaurant and the food. 100% will NO recommended this place Sorry but no

We had a takeaway and it was delicious. Arrived in good time, piping hot and very, very tasty. Absolutely delighted that Ongar doesn’t have an awful chain pizzeria but has this excellent delivery option. Will be regular customers

Great meal, friendly attentive staff.

Pizzas are not bad. The starters however were not. Way too much soggy batter on the calamari and the zucchini Frito.

We were a party of 17 tonight Thursday 25th January. The food was excellent as was the service. Well done to the chef and our lovely waitress.

One star is actually one star more than they deserve. The warning signs were there when we arrived at peak time on a Friday and there was one other couple sat down and 30 empty ones. Where do I start? The food was honestly like it was microwaved meals, I had a carbonara which was edible but my fiancé had lasagne that actually looked worse than the ones they used to cook at school. The waitress was actually friendly but in an overly friendly way that it was just really awkward - also invited her friends in who were drunk, loud and trashy - and between the staff nothing was said or done. Honestly as bad as the drunk friends coming in was, it was the memorable part of the night and definitely more memorable than the food. It actually felt like we was in a prank TV show at times and I was waiting for the reveal. AWFUL

One of the worst places we have been. Food tasted frozen. We were the only table and the waitress brought her friends in who were berating us while we were trying to enjoy a meal with friends. They begin playing loud music, shouting, trying to speak to us saying it’s just “banter”. We felt extremely uncomfortable. Food was awful.

It's didn't taste authentic Italian. Most food lacked flavor. Wine was bad.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a very nice experience. Food and drink were very good. Staff were very professional and friendly and the decor was very modern and fresh and they very nice atmosphere .I would definitely return to this restaurant. I highly recommend it

Very poor communication with the restaurant

After walking a stage of the Essex Way we were grateful it was only a short walk to Cucina Italiana. Our delightful waitress looked after us so well. The pasta was fresh with delicious sauces and we could relax and take our time to savour the meal washed down with a decent red. Light, bright decor with charming views of the local village church. It really was a 'godsend' ... as the local pub doesn't serve food, no chef see !

Food was on time but it was cold. The pizza was very sparse on toppings and next to no sauce on the base. Unfortunately this was my first and last order.

We were a party of 9 on Christmas day, and it was absolutely 💯 perfect. Food spot on, plenty of choice, great atmosphere and warm welcome. Service superb, and we were not rushed. The food was cold when arrived

I’ve had the arabiatta many times before and tonight it was inedible. Tasted like a bag of sugar had been dumped on it and was so dry. Had 3 mouthfuls and threw the rest away. What a waste of money!

This place isn't being used as much as it deserves! Food is excellent, service is very good. We were there for lunch and only 3 tables being used, so atmosphere wasn't thrilling. I think it was just a quite day. I would certainly go more often if I lived nearer. Definitely recommend!

An excellent meal. Despite being busy our table all received their meals at the same time. All freshly cooked. The service was excellent, too. We all agreed it was good value for money and wished it were nearer so we could visit more often. Thank you Cucina Italian.

We have ordered/ eat in /collected for 10 years now from here, and it has never failed us! From pizza , spaghetti, lasagna, fish , steak , starters… everything was absolutely beautiful, EVERY SINGLE TIME! The staff are absolutely brilliant, friendly and attentive! Thank you so much! 😊💜

Beautiful fresh food devliered very quickly- just one thing to note is that it wasn't made clear on the online menu that the meat dishes came with cooked vegetables and potatoes. As such I ordered unnecessary sides of chips and vegetables as extra.

The food arrived on time but was really not nice. We had cheesy garlic bread which was very plasticity, the salads were all mushed and extremely oily. The pasta was quite tasteless and sauces tasted like it had come out of a packet. All this in mind it was also quite expensive for the poor quality of the food. Sadly won’t be ordering from here again.

Food was nice and hot, looked good. Garlic bread was a bit on the dry side. Pizza base was lovely and crispy, maybe next time I’ll try a different one as I personally found the turkey over powered the flavour of the other meats. I did the next day leftover breakfast pizza and it was delicious warmed up. Will definitely order again 👍🏻

Love this place... Usually eat in but I was baby sitting for my grandchildren and couldn't go out as they were in bed. Couldn't be bothered to cook in this heat so ordered lasagne... Beautiful as always. Food is always good and staff are very friendly. I am a regular customer

Food was cold and not enjoyable

What a lovely place to eat! We were welcomed warmly upon entering, and decided to grab a quick drink at the bar whilst waiting for other members of the party to arrive. After being seated, the waiter service was prompt and courteous, with our food arriving hot and swiftly...oh and really delicious! We went for the Fried Mozzarella for starters, then the pan fried veal and spaghetti, and prawns and spaghetti, all of which were amazing! It was all very well priced too! We will definitely be going again and trying more on the menu!

More expensive than any high street pizza chain and it was dreadful. BBQ chicken pizza was just a plain pizza with some BBQ sauce squirted over it! Just awful

Had lunch yesterday 6th November 2021 and it was excellent. The food wonderful, and nothing was too much trouble. Extremely pleased with our visit.

Delivery driver was a lad he took some of our trick or treat sweets that we offered him he didn’t steal it but he was a quality geeza deserves a pay rise 🌝

I love this little place. It's always entertaining and the foods great. The pizza dough is just awesome so light and fluffy. Even cold it tastes amazing. I can also highly recommend the seafood linguine. If you enjoy good Italian food this place always delivers.

bit disappointing. First time here and would be going back. like the starter was nice as was desert was very nice. the roast i would not have again Yorkshire pudding chewy not great but would trying something from main menu as the other bit was ok. very nice and friendly staff that the main reason for going back

Food was delicious, more than we'd usually spend on a take away but we'll worth it. Delivery driver was apologetic about delay with idiots panic buying fuel holding her up. Worth the wait, thanks again.

Sauce spilled everywhere. Tasted unappetising, had to throw both meals in the bin. Disappointing to receive a meal which looked unappealing and was so distasteful despite the price we paid.

Wow considering I just paid £41.10 for dinner I am disgusted with the dry, tasteless mess they just delivered to my door!!! Chicken was dry and went out for the fox’s, spaghetti that comes with the chicken was boring and tasteless! The carbonara was very average, Sainsbury’s do a better one for the microwave! The only good point was the garlic bread which was great but not great enough to warrant what I just spent!

Not authentic Italian restaurant, we have cooked better ourselves at home. Calamari very tough so was the veal not cooked in a traditional Italian way, so disappointed with not be going back.
