Having been regular visitors pre Lockdown the five of us got together at the Forum on Friday evening for what proved to be a very enjoyable evening. The food was as we remembered it EXCELLENT. The restaurant was fully booked but the staff were able to make you feel that you were the only table in the room. whoever is responsible for their training and supervision has our deepest gratitude. will we come again... you bet. Food was sent back as it was completely cold... Lasagne and carbonara size is very small.. tasteless and overpriced.. large beer. £6.90 which is 2/3 pint!!!. Thats £10.25 a pint!!!. Anyway.. food sent back and didn't want it replaced as rest of the meal would be cold.. asked for bill... Shocked to see a service charge added.. oh.. you don't nothing else.not even a small bit of salad garnish.tesco frozen ready meals is bigger and probably better tasting than what was served... we left there and went to the pub next door..

Great wine shop with huge range and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Several branches locally. Good that they also run as a bar with carious wines by the glass as usual but also you can buy any bottle and pay corkage if you prefer to browse 🙂. Also tastings and other events, which I have not tried but they look good. Loved the Loire Flight of 4x50ml glasses and, best of all, the "Lucky Dip" glass for £7 - but free if you correctly guess region and grape! Of course I did not, so I have to go back and try again 😊

Steady flow when we arrived but our waitress, Shaunah, was amazing getting around her tables and still being attentive. The food was delicious and my little one was very happy with her meal, stating she was stuffed before dessert but couldn't resist the tempting ice cream cart. Will be going again.

Chez Amelie Café at the Cambridge Cookery School was recommended to my wife and me as a low-key but high quality place for brunch when visiting Cambridge. Only a short walk from the train station, the food, coffee, and relaxed atmosphere made the walk worthwhile. We opted for Turkish eggs which came with toasted sourdough (the waiter enthusiastically brought more sourdough at our request). Amazing value at just over a tenner each for the food and a coffee

Awful. If you are looking for authentic, quality Middle Eastern food, look elsewhere. The bamiyeh with rice was given on plastic plates, looked microwaved since it got cold within a few minutes and parts of the plate were not hot. The meat was so tough we couldn't finish it. Dishes were so disappointing, and totally not worth the price. Food is shameful to even be labelled as Syrian.
