i have been so happy with my food here, so i took my family and grand kids, everyone loved it, this kids were happy and the waiters were great with them. the food was fantastic,

This was literally a stones throw from where we were staying so on Monday night (after a lovely Chinese lunch in Witham) we had a "snacky" dinner from here of chips and gravy! The chips were freshly cooked so I had to wait 5-6 minutes but this was not a problem. It certainly looks very clean inside and the food was good and tasty.

I’ve never had a bad meal here - the food and portions are brilliant. Service is quick and I honestly can’t fault any part of the process

Really great night, super food, popadoms chutneys, the onion Bhaji, lamb Punjabi which I ordered and was a little hot wow but so yummy, Chicken Tika masala, chicken buriani, naan bread and pilau, I have to say it was all just lovely. The staff were all super professional and caring but not too in your face. The place was spotless, I was very impressed as I’m not easily impressed!! Well done. There seriously wasn’t a thing to complain about, we as a group if ladies had a great time, thank you!! We will be back

Beautiful food . Fast friendly service good location

My wife and I recently visited “the house” for our anniversary, we were greeted with a warm welcome the building has a great atmosphere and our server (Alex) was polite and attentive. The food was fantastic and not to be missed, my wife and I even swapped starters and mains halfway due to being jealous of each other’s choices and not wanting to miss out. The menu simple and not too overwhelming to navigate. Alex’s service was great! she was friendly and approachable she made a great wine recommendation and didn’t leave us wanting for anything. In myself and my wife’s opinion this restaurant is a true value for money and we will be visiting again.

The swan wonderful place where i married my wife on the 15th of june 2024. One week before the extreamly sad unfair end to a one of braintrees local pubs another sadly lost to rediculous fancy carabian dining we. One of the best friendly enviorments wonderful service respect due to amazing management by landlord ken amazing man with exellent management. Looking forward to see where he goes so will all of his customers will follow. Wonderful memorys. Sad loss butiful memorys. Love adam and wonderful wife serena. We will miss you swan. Loved alway.

Awful, give you option for sauce and salad then don't give you it. False advertising , con of a company.Won't eat here again.

We decided to try this tea room for the first time after being given an afternoon tea for 2 gift card as a birthday treat. I have to say we were more than happy with the whole experience. It was welcoming, the staff were brilliant and the surroundings were very clean. We had 2 lovely sandwiches with a salad garnish. The salad leaves were so fresh, brilliant. Followed by 2 very good fruit scones, jam and clotted cream and more little cakes on the top tier of the cake stand . Tea and coffee was also included. Thank you.

Popped in for some lunch. Really really busy and cramped - tables are far too close together so people are falling into you to get past. Food ok - staff a bit disorganised and didnt get the orders quite right. Steak bake I had a bit average -- wasnt all that. Needs improvements.

On such a hot Saturday afternoon whilst walking around the green after lunch at The Fox we needed an ice cream! The coffee ice cream is highly recommend.

Walked in... waited for around 4 mins. Someone was scrubbing something out back. Had a table of people sat in the corner vaping. So walked out.

Worst place ever they dont have salt 🤣 im eating food without salt.
