Lounge India in Braintree

i have been so happy with my food here, so i took my family and grand kids, everyone loved it, this kids were happy and the waiters were great with them. the food was fantastic,

Attended with family. Lovely service, lovely food, couldn’t be more accommodating- would definitely recommend this restaurant.

returned again and had another fantastic meal, the meat platter is a great starter, i had but chicken this time and the chef made it a bit hotter for me, honest it was spot on, thanks nick,

This has always been our go to for an Indian. It was always brilliant, but sadly no longer. The food has got so bad we stopped using this restaurant. However, we tried again tonight. We thought maybe it had a bad few months so tried again. The food was really late in being delivered. It was cold. The chicken was inedible and so tough we couldn’t eat it. The side salad consisted of one slice of cucumber and a slice of tomato. The poppadoms were stale. We won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend here at all.

Fabulous food & service, as always. My wife & I have been visiting Lounge India for a long time now & we think that it is easily the best restaurant in Braintree

Just had the best Indian takeaway in years from here. It was our first time as my friend recommended it and it's was fantastic.

Sal was here as Elvis, he was very good, and is a lovely guy. The restaurant was packed out, a good sign on a Wednesday, but the food and service suffered badly as a result, 6 of us were served at differing times, and getting the attention of the overworked waiting staff was understandably difficult . The food was ok, not memorable, just ok, but it might be down to just how busy the place was, the tables are also spread around all over different parts of the building, so Sal was not always visible. All in all a night that asked more questions than gave answers

hi there i went to the lounge India this evening,/09/2024 nice friendly staff, great service and fantastic food, the mixed plater starters were a meal on there own and were really tasty, the nann bread was fantastic as were the main courses, , i would definitely go back, well worth a visits, many thanks,

We decided to go to Loung India as we always get a take away from here and my grandaughter wanted to go out for Indian. The food was/is amazing. However we were asked 4 times by different members of staff if our meal was good, but also we were watched my grandaughter didn't eat hers as she was embarrassed I did ask to not be watched it was very uncomfortable as at least one member of staff watched us. I definitely stick to take away the surroundings are beautiful but it was just so uncomfortable

My experience was simply a phone-in request for a takeaway for my family. It was the Sunday evening of the England game and everyone wanted to eat before the match. I ordered our substantial order at about 6.30pm and we had our meal delivered about 50mins later, with a smile and special gift from the manager and good wishes for England’s success! Well, we all know how the match turned out, but I have to write and congratulate Lounge India and all the staff on an exceptional service with exceptionally tasty food.

Really nice dinner with a wide range of food options from the specials to the more standard fayre Staff were very attentive and seeking to ask whether things were to our satisfaction; decor was very nice and light with a good ambience even if it was before the busy period (football was on!); Good range of drinks, and parking at the side too

We have really enjoyed this restaurant before our latest visit. Our recent visit was a disaster! Soft/stale poppadoms. My wife ordered a Chicken Tikka Dum Biriani which she has ordered before. Usually comes in a pot with a lid. This was served on a plate, tasteless pile of rice with a poor excuse for an accompanying vegetable curry, terrible onion bhaji. A sag aloo with no spinach and to top it all off tried to overcharge us by £14. Today, both feeling unwell and will never go to this restaurant again.

First time visited after many recommendations by friends and family. Great food and experience. We will be back again.
