The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South Wales

If I could give 0 stars I would. TERRIBLE SERVICE, people working there are super RUDE and lied to me over the phone several times about my order. It used to be a lovely place, now is not wven worth it anymore. Don’t bother.

A party of 4, we all enjoyed the food we received, but the curry and salad were heavily salted. Unfortunately, we weren’t made to feel very welcome at the restaurant. 3 diners had finished eating and the owner actually cleared our plates when one diner was clearly still eating!!! Not what you expect when paying over £100 for a party of 4 and being in the establishment for one hour!! Added to this, when paying the bill, one diner requested to pay for the other diner and caused the owner to become impatient and abrupt as this had altered from the initial payment method. We felt we were rushed out after a stay of 1 hour and 10 minutes…

Sadly not good , Presentation poor, small portions, , Do not buy drinks both of us could not drink it and very expensive tasted like poison yuk. prime location ony 3 couples on a friday dont think it will be there for long sadly pity as itis very niceinside. Very nice food and the decor of the restaurant is really nice. Lovely staff, our waitress explained all the different food to us even the real Chinese menu which the Chinese people order from. Recommended

We have used the Golden Well for several years now and always have a great time. Alan and his team are fabulous hosts, super attentive and want to embassies you have a great time. We generally visit as a group of 8 or 10 of us and have set menu to share, they're is always plenty to go round and the price is very reasonable. I can highly recommend this restaurant / take away.

The singapore chowmein is the best I've ever tasted as I used to get it here when I was a teenager 40yrs ago. It's still the same and I've tried it everywhere in the country and it never tastes as good as here. And that's the truth of it.

Nice place just a bit expensive, and not alot for your money, some takeaways give you option of free rice or chips over £5.50

Ordered for the first time today, lovely food- definitely the best one from what we've tried so far in the area. Delivered earlier than expected & good prices. Will definitely order again!

The food is delicious and can be enough for two people to finish three dishes. The proprietress is also kind. Visitors from Birmingham said they would eat at your place next time they come.

Good food. Been meaning to try for a while. There’s quite a few dishes I wanted to try, so I’ll have to go back! I got the “saliva chicken” because I hadn’t seen it on a menu around here for a while. Delicious! Also opted for the cucumber salad and some plain rice. Salad was nice and fresh and the rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. Staff were helpful and friendly. Prices are pretty fair in my opinion, too.

Just received our order and it was the Best Chinese we have experienced in a long time Food arrived piping hot and everything was so tasty …it must have been good my boyfriend just rang the shop to tell them how good it was! We ordered the chicken curry plain noodles and sweet and sour chicken This will be our new go to Chinese! Thank you !
