Oh my god, can I beg you that your service attitude is not so bad? Why do you give it five stars? It is convenient to pin it to the top so that others can see it. The exchange rate is higher than that of the bank. I can’t swipe the card and I understand everything. The food is still unpalatable. Am I a very simple person? May I ask? Why on earth did I walk into this store? I couldn’t understand it. I regretted it. I felt uncomfortable. It tasted terrible. I found a toilet and dug it out.

Fabulous authentic Chinese food with only some dishes slightly tuned to to western tastes. Wide wide range of stunning vegetarian food with the deep fried aubergine particular stand out makes this decor seating and service is typical Chinese family business style a friendly Nihao (hello) on arrival always brings a smile while a Mai dan (the bill) brings the meal to a close. Like many Chinese business the preference is for cash and yet the excellent food is by no means expensive. Highly recommended if you want to experience tasty authentic Chinese food they even do hot pot a northern Chinese favourite ( with mongol roots) very popular in the winter when you will find the majority of chinese clientele indulging.

The best Chinese food we’ve ever had. We went there accidentally as we were on our way to a Thai restaurant but walked past and thought it looked good. A fantastic Chinese restaurant which specialises in authentic traditional Chinese cooking, unlike a lot of modern Chinese restaurants. After entering it feels like you have been transported to rural China with the decor, and the food is mind blowing, you need to try the Xianjing lamb and the many sweet and sour dishes. Very handy that they have a picture book menu.

As a Chinese, hands down this is the most authentic and delicious Chinese restaurant in Swansea. My bf who’s born and raised Welsh loves this place as well. The owner is very friendly despite they don’t speak English very well they’ll try their best to help you. If you forgot to bring cash there’s a FREE cash machine right outside. Couldn’t recommend more. Don’t know where all the bad reviews come from, it’s really unfair for them. I go this place at least once a week and never experienced the so called “poor hygiene” and “bad service”problem.

We decided to try out this chinese as not been here before since it changed hands feom gigi gaos the favourite. the restaurant was very busy on entering, which was a good sign. We waited a few minutes by the door before someone greeted us. We could see there was a spare table at the front but it needed to be cleaned. We had to wait a while for the table to be cleaned for us to sit down. We stood like lemons waiting and didnt even get told to sit down when the table was cleaned. It took half an hour to even be acknowledged and served. We appreciate it is a small family run business and it was very busy but the least they could do is serve us drinks whilst awaiting to take our order. We very nearly walked out. The young boy took our order and served drinks straight away. There is a large selection of traditional chinese food and western chinese food. Myself and partner had crispy aubergine, crispy pork which i would recommend, satay chicken and black pepper beef. When we had finished the meal, the young boy was eating his tea as the restaurant had emptied. He Didnt even look up to see if we had finished. We had to shout out for the bill. Finally they only except cash, which was annoying. My partner had to go to atm. This little family restaurant has a lot to offer and could be very good. They need to work on customer service and hospitality and make sure they have more awareness of the customers. This has the potential to be a very good business but our overall experience wasnt very good im afraid to say.

Amazing find. Very authentic Chinese food in a small family run restaurant, popular with Chinese students. The large menu gives plenty of scope for adventurous dining or more staid Western choices. I had spicy ducks tongues, which were excellent and the hot and sour soup was exactly that - and plenty of it. The sweet potato and crab roe fried potatoes were just melt in the mouth succulent as were the mackerel jiaozi and much more. I will definitely return and try one of the hot pot options. This is a must for food lovers with a taste for real Chinese cuisine.

Basic Chinese restaurant, some dishes ok but others rubbish - just scraps of bones deep fried. It would take a few visits to weed out the decent dishes from the scraps. Only one staff member spoke English, she was lovely and very helpful but that's the only significant plus. Several Chinese patronise the place but not really suitable for a special night out. Large portions, reasonable prices, plastic plates and dishes - not much more to add. Not worth a second visit given the large choice of superior places to eat in Swansea.

This is popular with Chinese which says something and has a great alternative, authentic menu. Their speciality are hot-pot buffet. This is a homely, relaxed, casual restaurant, it won't be everyone's taste - don't expect 'standard' British Chinese menu, although you will find these options available. There are a lot of menu options and I looking forward to going back.

Visited in the opening week. The interior had a good feel to it with solid wood tables and seats which felt of good quality. Unfortunately this was in made the contrast with the plastic plates and overly light cutlery a little too evident. The highlight of the restaurant was the sheer level of selection available. There was plenty of dishes which left me and my wife wanting to try them all (Many of which I had not seen since I last visited China)! Additionally there were dishes which we had not seen before. The food was prepared well and did not take too long to arrive. Overall the food was well prepared, although a the portions were a little on the smaller than we would like side (this is in comparison to other Chinese restaurants in the area which are often on the overly generous side). This coupled with a higher cost than the other restaurants did not feel too great. A little more food and it would feel like you were getting your moneys worth. The staff were helpful however due to it being quite busy, quite often when requesting something they could pass us by. An inconvenient side to the restaurant was that they only accepted cash. Even with the negatives, due to the quality of the food available, I rate this very good instead of just average. Although this is a just about 'very good'. Improvements in the service and a slight upgrade in the utensils, a more generous portion size and this could be a strong very good or even excellent. Overall the restaurant has enough about it to make us want to go visit again.

Opening day today and the restaurant was full when we arrived, a really good sign of what was to come. We used to eat at the restaurant which was previously in the same property and we feared that this new one wouldn't be able to compete. Wrong! We have just had a culinary delight. Lovely to see traditional Chinese dishes on the menu and plenty of choice, so much that it took us quite a while to decide. We opted for Homemade Tofu, Wangji Dumplings(named after the owner we were told), Yuxiang Shredded Pork and Kung Pao Shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection and delivered with a smile. The restaurant was busy but we didn't feel that the staff were rushed and they were on hand to advise if needed. As it was the first day, the food did take a little while to arrive but I think this will speed up with time. It was worth waiting for and gave us a chance to relax and look at the menu. The restaurant also does a choice of Hotpots which we will try next time. Just to be aware, at the moment, it is cash only as they haven't had their card payments set up yet. We will be back, again and again and again!
