Can’t order a lobster to collect unless you pay in advance. Never have that kind of insulting experience before. Used to order lots from them but would not recommend or order again.

Delightful restaurant in Brynmill, friendly staff. The Black Bran Tofu was amazing! We really enjoyed our family meal here.

Our food from this restaurant was absolutely fantastic - we had a takeaway as we are from The Mumbles as there isn’t a Chinese takeaway around by us and it was 100% worth the trip out to get it. The food was piping hot, done before said time and the staff were so so lovely. I highly recommend this place. Their sweet and sour fish was delightful with their duck in plum sauce not far behind. Salt and pepper chips are a must as always and their spring rolls are lovely! Such a good variety to pick from and you can eat in too! Next time I would sit inside just for the lovely atmosphere and staff. So reasonably priced for the amount you get too - portions definitely aren’t skimpy. Thank you so so much for our food and we will 100% be coming back!

One of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had! Sweet & sour fish was absolutely unreal and the sesame prawn toasts were to die for. Staff were so lovely and smiley and really friendly.

Feast for 2!! We ordered the meal for 2 and it was more a feast for 2! Absolutely gorgeous food, great environment and super polite service. Will definitely come back, I recommend this place highly. The picture shows 2 out of 4 main dishes we had as part of the meal.

We went on May 18th as party of 9 to celebrate my mothers birthday. The service was a complete shambles from start to finish. Took the servers forever to take our drinks orders and then to take the food order. We waited an hour for our starters to arrive but instead of starters they started to serve our mains. We had to say we hadn't even had our starters yet so could they serve us those first and take the mains back. After another 10 minutes 2 starters came out but we were still waiting on another 4 starters. 15 minutes later the other starters hadn't appeared. Had to ask again for the other starters to be told we had only ordered 2 starters. Had to repeat the starters order again to servers. The other starters finally appeared after another long wait. Whilst those starters were still being eaten the mains started to arrive which by this time we could see had been sitting on a side table for almost 30 minutes ( we were hoping these mains weren't ours) they were stone cold and also incorrect. Only a part order served plus 3 dishes we hadn't ordered. Had to send the stone cold meals back, send back the meals we hadn't ordered and ask for the others dishes we had ordered. The cold main mains came back warm and chewy as had been microwaved so really not enjoyable. The missing orders finally turned up plus some of the dishes we hadn't ordered came back again, so had to send them back again. We were not given plates or bowls to serve ourselves and a guy on the next table went to a shelf and handed us plates. The same guy had also had to send his own order back as he had a seafood allergy and they served him prawns in his rice. After a below average, chewy, cold meal we were then not offered any kind of discount for the dreadful service and were told the card machine was not working so could we pay cash. None of us had enough cash to pay the bill so had to stay and keep trying the card machine whilst we had 2 tired kids who needed to be put to bed. We will definitely not return again as the service was shocking. I would suggest that the restaurant not try and be both a takeaway and a restaurant as they seemed to be concentrating more on the delivery orders than the orders of their sit down customers. Terrible from start to finish.

Have been a few times and enjoyed it but tonight for my birthday 9 of us went,arrived at 6 took them half an hour to ask us for drinks order,then waited another half hour for them to arrive,took our food order then waited again and they started to serve our main courses, I said we ordered starters so they took our mains away and we waited another half hour for starters.our mains I could see were on the counter waiting oh yes I forgot they got our starters wrong to,we hadn’t finnished our starters when they were serving our mains again which were cold, they took them away and I’m guessing warmed them in the microwave as they were chewy and not very nice.no discount off them ,sorry won’t ever go back there again.was so disappointed as it was my birthday treat.

Tasteless bland boring food, the worst Chinese food I have ever had, even the chilli sauce was tasteless , really, really disappointing. Will definitely not be coming back here.

We dropped in to Yummy garden after a day out hiking at The blue pool with big appetites. We ordered a set meal and it was absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were massive and we ended up taking home enough food for a good leftover dinner the next day. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The restaurant was busy and full of people who clearly knew they were on to a good thing! Definitely recommend a visit.

We ordered our food at 8:00pm, and after two hours it still did not arrive. We kept calling them asking what the status was for our order and every time they kept insisting it would take 10 minutes, and it never arrived.

Takeaway from Uber eats, food came an hour later than originally predicted, on a Tuesday evening. Ordered ‘fried chicken in satay’ ‘king prawn with ginger and spring onion’ - both were pretty bland. Satay had 0 resemblance to satay, no peanut taste and very watery sauce, with big chunks of garlic. Didn’t have that rich thick sweet and salty taste you would expect from a satay dish and chicken wasn’t fried which is what I expected. Probably won’t order again as had much better elsewhere.

The food here was delicious. Ordered the salt and Peper chicken, boiled rice, sweet and sour Hong Kong style chicken, and the starter to share. The portions were very filling and definitely worth the price.

All good tastes really good and authentic- my favourite is the fish with pickled green vegetables The fish is so tender, almost melting in mouth.

Service was warm and welcoming. Restaurant was quiet with a relaxing vibe. I had the Chinese tea which was hot and warming on a cold winter evening. I had the hot and sour soup which was better than most I've eaten but lacked a the sour notes I was looking for and was heavy on white pepper. Fortunately, they do offer rice wine vinegar as a condiment on the table. We had a selection of pork, kung po and roasted pork, both of which were delicious (the king po packed a proper kick of heat and the roasted pork was the highlight of the evening). My wife and father had the birds nest baskets (seafood and crispy beef). Their only critique is that the baskets tasted like they'd been prepped a long time in advance (they had lost their crunch and freshness). They also commented that the tempura bean sprouts, which the basket was made of, was a little strange. They expected fried noodles. After the sauce has soaked into the baskets it made them easier to eat. The Malaysian satay skewers were tasty and plentiful. More than enough sauce to go around with plenty for prawn cracker dippage! In summary, an enjoyable evening, a few minor tweaks to the food would've made it perfect.

We went for a eat in sit down evening meal. The quality of the food was okay, we had special curries with egg fried rice and chips plus a special chow mein. The curries were fine with plenty of meat, the chow mein didnt have hardly any just a few shreds. The big problem was the plates were not heated and as such the food went cold very quickly. Then there was the price, now we did not check the bill until much later but it did not correspond to the menu in the restaurant plus there was V.A.T. added on top. Overall a poor experience and reflective of the one star rating.

Yummy Garden is, without a doubt, the best Chinese restaurant in the whole of Swansea and I would recommend anyone to come to visit. The service was warm and welcoming and we all felt at ease during our meal. Food is delightful and we will certainly revisit.

Very fairly priced and good portions. Everything was absolutely delicious! My partner and I both got some egg fried rice and one meat dish, my partner got the black bean beef and I got the duck with ginger and spring onions. We had more than enough to share both between the two of us and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful! The staff were very friendly and we felt very welcomed by them, and the atmosphere was very nice even though we went at quite a quiet time. They have takeaway and dine in options, and I would happily recommend either to anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine.

We travelled 6 hours on Monday and got to swansea hoping for a good take away, we ordered our food & were given a delivery time, next thing we looked at the phone and instead of order progress we had a msg saying order cancelled!!! Wasn’t happy as it had been a long day…. We had to then try and find an alternative. Not a happy bunny

The food here was, well, yummy. I had the lamb with szechuan sauce and I can't recommend it enough! The restaurant was quiet, which was nice, but could maybe do with a bit more decoration. The price was good, especially considering how good the food was, so I'll definitely be back here again. 👍😊

Ordered vege fried rice but only came with 5 or 6 pcs of green peas. Taste like water. I asked them to send chilli paste, but they don't understand chilli paste. I asked them to add egg but they didn't add. Unprofessional service.

Very disappointed and will definitely not be returning. First ever time visited. On arrival the restaurant was not busy. There was 1 large table which seemed to be a family table eating and kept helping themselves to drink / food from behind the bar area. There was also another table of 4 plus us as another table of 4. There was a long wait after food order with no communication from staff. Then we were told that the Chinese roast duck was not available so we ordered spare ribs. Food came out 1 dish at a time. We had to chase the last dish because it had not arrived although we were told 3 minutes. When we chased the 2nd time the dish had been on the bar counter for ages. We had eaten food and once we finished the last 2 boiled rice dishes arrived. Food was very greasy and luke warm. £60 bill and when we made a complaint we were told it was because they were busy. The table next door who were also 1st time eaters recieved satay type chicken that was rock hard because it was over cooked. Staff did not even give money off for the rice that had not been eaten because it was late. We will be sticking to our usual of Wild Swan in future.

Ordered food from here a few hours in advance, the order was still almost an hour late. When it arrived it was cold, the sauce had turned to practically jelly and not only was the egg fried rice stotdgy and disgusting but it had a hair in it. I immediately rang back and was given a full refund and dealt with nicely by the lady on the phone but never again will I be ordering from here again. 0 stars!!!

Ordered through Deliveroo at 6.20, estimated delivery 7.25. Phoned restaurant at 7.50 4 times, no answer. Answered on 5th attempt, when we explained the situation the man didn't reply and ended the call. Contacted Deliveroo who called them and they cancelled the order. Excellent service from Deliveroo, pitifully ignorant service from this restaurant. From reading other reviews this is to be expected, only wish I had seen them before ordering. Now I wait to see if I am refunded...

Went here for my birthday our food was cold in the middle and that was just our starters then our main come had to be sent back it was cold . Crispy duck was cold and terrible never go there again

We were having a few drinks and decided on a sit down Chinese for a change, so glad we did the food was amazing here, chow mein was amazing the chicken balls curry sauce was delicious will definitely be returning.

Placed an order on Foodhub and had to contact customer service to ask if it had been accepted finally was rung an hour late to ask where the food was and told me that they never received an order and blamed Foodhub. The woman kept talking over me didn’t give a refund or to rectify the problem. Really doesn’t deserve a one star.

I really wanted to love this place but it was such a disappointment. The food that came was not as advertised, I ordered stir fried broccoli and veggies, (please see attached photo of what arrived.) Terribly naff name, but don't let it put you off. The duck in noodles and crispy beef put the satay chicken in the shade, and that was delicious in its own right! Probably the best westernised Chinese food I've had in 10 years, since the Oriental Garden down the marina closed.

Waited more than 2.5 hours for a takeaway that should've been delivered in 30 - 45 mins. Called several times and was blatantly lied to, " it's on the way" for an hour and a half.

DO NOT ORDER from this Chinese as they will try to con you over delivery charges, their website tells you the order has to be over £15.00 for delivery which I did and then you'll get a call from them to say they want you to collect or a further £3.50 for delivery - I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS CHARGE I WOULD HAVE PAID, BUT ITS THE DECEIT IN TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE THAT IS WRONG!!!. I've asked for a full refund and was told no as the order was placed online for collection. What a con - I then get a text from the guy telling me its his first day at the restaurant and he's made a mistake. I expect a full refund and if I don't receive I will every day write several reviews on various platforms telling how poor your service has been.
