The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Highlands and Islands

First of all, I have to point out that I'm not sure if I should be more angry at those who made this "food" or at me, who also thought I should eat it. I should have turned around straight away and gone to bed hungry. The signs were all there. From the outside, the shop looked as if it had closed, the "menu" on DinA4 sheets in neon colors slapped on the wall. There wasn't a single Asian person to be seen in an Asian snack bar. The mixed appetizer platter consisted of pieces of fish, 2 different spring rolls, wontons, and spare ribs. Everything except the spare ribs (which had maybe 30g of meat in total) were fried beyond recognition and came with a neon-colored sweet and sour sauce. The Peking soup was the worst I've ever had and it had as much to do with Beijing as I had with the South Pole. I also ordered the Korean noodles with “roasted duck”... I'll probably never understand what the duck is supposed to be roasted. It doesn't matter because I definitely won't be ordering anything there again. I don't want to bash anyone here, I know very well how difficult it is to have to earn a living in the catering industry. But there are things that don't work. If you can't do something then you have to get help.

We had a great meal from here, friendly happy and informative on the telephone, very nice meal very tasty fresh and hot, can recommend here

Ordered from app which was accepted and money taken but when arrived at the premises all was locked up and closed so basically stole my money 😡

Amazing food, delivery time is on spot. Delivery driver friendly. Have ordered many times and have never had a bad meal. Always excellent.

Been coming here for well over 14 years..never had a bad meal or experience. Food portions are a good size and at a reasonable price. My go to takeaway in Dufftown area.

The workers are super nice I love the food and all in all just a great place and it's open on Sundays

Chips fried rice and curry was awful, huge box of dry rice with 7 chips and a sliver of curry straight in the bin. U would hope that such a simple order would be easy to produce but unfortunately they can't at this establishment.

Best Munchie Box I’ve ever had! Polite lady taking orders, delivery guy was polite and held door open, food was very flavourful, nice and crispy, food piping hot, very happy with this food can tell some love was put in there :) would definitely buy again !

One of the few places that will give you food after 8pm in Skye. Their salt and pepper chips were good, but I did not love their egg fried rice which was very reheated if you know what I mean. Still I am grateful they were open.

Chicken curry was smelly the chicken was off chicken balls were terrible and definitely not fresh Normally ok but when we called to say chicken was stinking they were so rude got half refund as I refused to take the food out of my bin back to them we took back half of it untouched

..........and quite expensive by mainland standards, but the food was fine. In the same circumstances I would use it again.

I'm sorry to say I was not happy with my delivery experience on Saturday 1st Feb, I ordered a takeaway online as phone was constantly engaged, my delivery arrived at 10.43m! 3 hours later, website said 60 mins, my husband went to bed and I couldn't eat that late. I was still charged 30.00 for this, I won't use your app again, very disappointed as the food is good. LG

Excellent food and very generous portions. Up from Lancashire visiting family in the town and was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and reasonable prices. Would highly recommend but be warned it is cash only!
