food arrived with no heat in it. asked for no onion in chow mein but it was loaded with onions so that had to go into the bin. cold chips and cold fried rice for dinner? I think not. won't order again.

I had food posion drom here lasted 2 days. Never eat out it since please do not go nere the place should be closed down staff are cheecky with disabled ppl

Got a delivery for chicken curry ,rice cold and lumpy ,curry too watery , found a bone in chicken and prawn crackers were soggy . So last time I use them

I never ever complain about food ever as there's sometimes a mistake or whatever human error but tonight I went in not been here for a while ordered starter for 2 it was literally deep fried hard and disgusting ribs small pieces of hard meat loaded with fat and chicken satay nearly broke my teeth the chicken wings where burnt to a crisp and soo tiny never saw wings like it in my life I also got salt and chilli wings I love onoin but there was more onoin than anything else again tiny chicken wings burnt to a crisp got rice noodles and salt n chili chips n curry sauce for just under 30 quid would have been better tossing it to the wind won't be back

Got aromatic duck via takeaway the duck was tasteless and totally dry obviously been made another day and microwaved the pancakes were in the plastic packet they had been brought from a shop and microwaved and put in a tin container the cucumber strips were as thick as chips . I got this delivered via an app but wont be eating this its going in the bin and we wont use this place again if we were eating at a table i would have refused to pay for it The pictures don’t look bad but trust me the duck was like beef jerky and pancakes are in a plastic packet and put in the tin container

Shocking. Waited nearly 2 1/2 hours after putting order on Clyde Eats. Called them a few times only to be told they were busy !

Got a chicken curry, fried rice and salt and chilli chips. The curry and rice was completely tasteless (honestly like eating unflavoured food) the salt and chilli chips were basically burnt chips with half a tub of salt. Phoned to complain and the person who was supposedly the manager pretended not to hear me and understand me and just kept saying ok ok?! Avoid like the plague! Don’t waste your money. Unless you like tasteless food and unhelpful management.

Ordered kung po chicken and chicken chow mein. Meal was cold on arrival. Kung-po was disgusting. No spice whatsoever and it was like a sweet and sour sauce however tasted horrible. The chicken chow mein some of the noodles were still white and not cooked and chow mein very dry with no veg at all. I phoned and requested refund however I was told that the meals needed to be intact. We already had put them on our plate along with the rice and I explained that some of it had been eaten as this is how we knew it had tasted horrible. They were going to send the driver to pick them back up and the girl on the other end of the phone said as long as they get them back untouched a refund would be given. I said to forget it and I would be putting on this review. She said okay then. Not caring.

Very typical chinese takeaway. Have used it often. Also for delivery - though a bit of a nuisance to have to have cash for delviery as nowadays I never have cash.

Ordered steak and asked for it to be extra well done , got it home was pink in middle, went back with it and was given abuse , not a happy customer, think they should give place a good clean

My usual Chinese takeaway was closed chose this one as had been told their food and service was the best I'm sorry but I don't agree there was more batter than children there was more bone and sauce than meat won't be back

Ok chips are nice but I bought fried rice small portion thinking it was normal you get and thought large portion was a long tray! Turns out they are selling a 95p portion for £2.20 and a £1.90 portion for £3.20 total rip off! I got £1.90 portion from another Chinese takeaway bridgeton days earlier that this mob lily's charge over £3 for! Didn't realise till i got home or would have cancelled! Avoid if you don't want to be ripped off or be selective of what you are happy to pay for!

Been using ming star for years. We use different Chinese for different things we like but this is the best Sweet & sour chicken in Airdrie. No complaints about any other dishes we have received either

The food from this restaurant is ok but they appear to put their prices up on a weekly basis. Any place that charges £3 for prawn crackers is having a laugh as they cost pennies to make. For 2 meals with just a few accompaniments each you’re looking at nearly £40…… for a takeaway!!! It’s cheaper to eat in most local restaurants now than to takeaway from Ricky’s.
