The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Scotland

It’s really not appreciated that whoever your spam poster is feels they can just leave a pile of menus on the stairs of my flat block, which are in no way free from wind. As if the area isn’t bad enough with litter, tell your employees not to contribute!

Got an order today picked it up from shop, boys serving were very polite. Takeaway 5 mins from home took out food and it was cold chips were the only thing to have a little warmth but that lasted all of 2mins very disappointed glad I only tried a small order as I would usually order big.

Muy decepcionante. Pedí una porción de pollo al curry y arroz frito y una bolsa de mini rollos de primavera. Eso llegó a 18 libras. 40 ! ! ! La comida tenía poco sabor. El pollo era masticable e insípido. No volverá.

Bought lemon chicken and boiled rice but had to throw it away when I got home. The rice was hard and tasted ‘old’ like it was cooked yesterday. Half the chicken was ok but the rest had a strange taste and I didn’t want to risk food poisoning. There was also very little sauce. What a shame as I have visited this takeaway quite a few times over the years but I’m wondering if it’s changed hands? I phoned to let them know about the food and got no joy. Sadly I’ll not be driving the 20 mins to return and waste money on unpalatable food.

I love the food here but the woman who takes the orders is so rude and unfriendly I’ve stopped going.

sorry but you surely didn't read my note. no onions or veg and if you could chop the chicken a little smaller than normal please. that's what is on my note . the chips were just all crisp no potato in side. sorry for the low score but onions makes me really not well so the full curry went in the bin.

We just had their lemon chicken, chow mein, chicken fried rice and side dishes. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this place. Food came quickly and was hot and fresh. Thank you Star Garden. 5/5 Christmas Day. Enjoyed with my family a truly delicious meal of various dishes and every mouthful was a pleasure. Thank you Star Garden . Your food is awesome.

Our visit was a little while ago now, but we remember it well. I am not going to say it is the most exciting Chinese food I have ever eaten, I am also sure that it was food prepared with great care and attention. We had plenty to eat, enjoyed really fresh flavours, and just felt very well looked after by the staff and particularly the chef. The menu had a good selection of different dishes and what we chose was beautifully prepared and presented. I'm not often in that part of the country, but I would definitely go again if I have the opportunity.

Being using them for over 15 years wouldn't eat anywhere else

We have had sky garden previously for delivery. The food was good but recently we called to place our order as we need to double check as my partner is pregnant and has a nut allergy. We got told our address was to far away despite being a 7 minute drive/ 2.4 miles away. We assume they just were not able to deal with the nut allergy. The royal dynasty has been actually far better and really dealt with the allergy superbly.

Very good quality food, lovely staff and great service. Don’t be fooled by the exterior!

Stopped for some chips and a late decision to add curry sauce on the way home this week. Having not ordered here for a long time and there being new owners at least twice since I’m pretty sure, not sure what the food would be like but not something you consider too deeply when you’re ordering chips. Chips were undercooked, and not in the least bit pleasant. £8 for some partially cooked sticks of potato? No thanks.

Is wang chang in Irvine stutt for good

Been coming here for well over 14 years..never had a bad meal or experience. Food portions are a good size and at a reasonable price. My go to takeaway in Dufftown area.
