Ehhhh OK vomit inducing,stodgey and gristle,now if this your idea of dinner then go for it, mine went into bin AGAIN yes again, I decided to give them one last go, and disgusting slop and think place needs proper chef who understands how to actually cook a beef curry. No more chances

Rang ahead with order, only had to wait a couple of mins for it to be completed. Absolutely lovely meal, we thoroughly enjoyed it and have no complaints

Usually the flavours are delicious but today everything lacked taste. First time ordering the most expensive rice dish; House Special Fried Rice - it was awful and daylight robbery at £8! As usual the pancake rolls were lovely, but not good enough to rush back.

Ordered a delivery via the restaurant directly. I have used this place for a number of years now However I won't be using them anymore. My issue is that I can't imagine the Chef or cook is blind. So I take it as an insult when I get sent food that should never have been sent to ANY customer let alone a long time regular like mysel. The Chicken Balls were dark brown, hard and some welded together. Believe me they looked and were ridiculosly bad. The Curry was like water. Totally lacking in flavour and body. Awful. The FACT I was sent this tells me how contemptuous they can be. AVOID

We have had food delivered once before this and all was okay, however on this occasion food was ordered for delivery at 7.00pm. At 7.30 having had no food delivered I tried to call to ask when we might expect food to arrive. Line constantly engaged. I tried to send an email via their website, it got returned as undeliverable. At 8.00pm and with a very hungry son I felt I had no option but to drive to the shop to check up on my order. Half way there and husband called to say it had arrived so I returned home. No apology from driver and husband asked why the very long delay, apparently the driver had had an accident. I feel a phone call to explain what had happened would have been acceptable and I would understand the delay. Food on arrival was okay but chicken ball’s were not hot, just warm. And all the trying to chase put a dampener on the meal and instead of enjoying we just ate quickly as we were so hungry. Very disappointed!

Great food as always. But be aware when ordering online you pay over a pound more per dish. And a service charge. So although collected as normal cost us nearly £5 more for a couple of dishes.

Good, well-cooked Chinese food in very generous portions. Polite, friendly service and easy, free parking nearby after 18.00. Very impressed. I was welcomed and served quickly. I will use the Golden Dragon takeaway regularly from now on.

Absolutely shocking place spoken to like a bit of rubbish then to be told my order wasn’t even with them but yet had taken the payment

It's been a while since I've ordered from the Silver Star Restaurant and I just wanted to declare that I am quite disappointed as I never expected to receive spoiled banana in my dessert order (when I ate a couple of bites of the dessert I had to spit it out and to look at what I was eating as well as I was shocked at the results). The food was good, the delivery was on point but the dessert disappointed me the most. It's good to enjoy a meal but when there's use of spoiled fruits in the dessert, it just makes everything else tastes bad. Thank you very much for your service and understanding but unfortunately I don't have the slightest idea whether I will be ordering from your restaurant again Silver Star. I'm truly sorry for the bad review but I have to be honest with myself. P. S. "Staff and owners of Silver Star Restaurant, try and keep in mind don't serve what you would not eat; what I mean is: if you wouldn't eat spoiled food etc don't serve it because if you continue to do so you will lose alot of customers for your lack of consideration towards your newly and regular customers due to some category of false advertisement with some of your dishes which puts a bad taste and bad memory to mind of your customers who suffer from your lack of consideration". As you treat your body as a temple don't you think that it's best to do the same for all your customers and the more good reviews the best chances of increase income right (it's like two sides of a coin - there's heads and there's tails; things could either go good or bad and it all depends on your customers reviews). Really disappointed, we waited for an hour and a half for food. When it came is wasn't that nice, we didn't enjoy the food at all

Honestly, I’m disappointed tonight I have traveled and had this before but different food. It’s very bland , no taste , no salt and overall I am disappointed!

Fantastic Chinese would recommend to all food is brilliant its cheap compared to other places very efficient service never had a bad meal definitely 10/10
