Happy house? I was not happy I had one mouth full of shredded beef it was awful. Chicken balls dry and tasteless and the sauce was disgusting. Even the prawn crackers were tasteless and burnt. This is my first ever review online if anything and I’ll be specially opened an account just to review this crap Chinese. Look elsewhere.

Normally Happy House is quite good but Just ordered a meal and the person taking the order was so rude and abrupt on phone when I was placing my order and abrupt phone call ending too....maybe last time ordering from there....be nice on the phone to you customers# We have received a response from the owner blaming the phone system. A faulty phone does not excuse rudeness.... PLUS, we have been RIPPED OFF. We ordered from a menu received in April and calculated the bill to be £43.10. when we ordered over the phone we were advised the bill was £48.60. We queried this, and were told it was probably an old menu. A new menu arrived with the meal, and lo and behold, it was identical in every detail with the menu we had, so I repeat we have been RIPPED OFF. The owner has suggested we message him when we next order, and he will send us a "special meal". As far as I am concerned, we have already been charged in advance for the "special dish", and that is of no benefit as we will never consider ordering from Happy House again, and will share our experince with our several Facebook Groups

We have used this take away for years and have never had a complaint - until the old owners sold up and left. We stuck to it in the hope that the standards would remain the same, however under new management, the food is unrecognisable to what it used to be. for the last 3 weeks we have had really bad meals, greasy, and tasting mass produced rather than freshly prepared. The lovely lady that used to take our order had now gone and is replaced with a very abrupt man who sounds like he doesn't care less, as long as he gets your money, we have added up the cost and for 3 weeks he seems to have just made up a price on the spot rather than checking on the prices, ending up at a £40 price for 3 of us with our usual order of £28. It's such a shame for the village as we have enjoyed such lovely food over the years from this establishment. Unfortunately we won't be ordering again.

We have ordered from Happy house previously The kids liked it, we thought not great but ok. The freebies thrown in are a nice added extra. Fast forward tonight. Why not try this place again, 🤔 so we did , Arrived late acceptable (it is valentines weekend 😊,) But the food was cold and we were dissapointed overall. 😞

We've used this take away regularly (c30/year) and they've been ok in the past, however tonight they promised delivery within the hour but they failed to deliver my order - very disappointed, After the hour had elapsed I rang to chase the order; they didn't apologise, they did say it would be a further 15 mins, I said Ok but if any longer I would wish to cancel the order - it never arrived so had to make alternative arrangements for the evening meal - won't be using them again!

We had take away again tonight probably the third or fourth time after changing our alliance from another local takeaway. Every time we have ordered the food has been near enough on time piping hot and exactly as it should thanks we will be back

We recently had a menu popped through our letter box so I thought I’d give it a try as it looked lovely the reviews on here wasn’t 2 good so I’m very glad I ignored them and went a head and placed an order. I collected the food as we was starving and the lady I spoke to on the phone said 10 minutes for collection when I collected the food was piping hot and was delicious definitely go back again.

used Happy house for sometime/ live local. Tonight was the nicest food we have ever had. not sure what’s changed, food was presented different but was really nice !!

Plastic food, I was sick afterwards. Won’t be going there again even though it is my nearest takeaway.

Great food at reasonable prices, always too much food, never had a bad meal, service is quick and there is lots of choice on the menu

Just ordered a takeaway from here and can't praise it enough. Delivered within 30 minutes. Arrived piping hot. Best ribs we have tasted in a long long time. Definitely be ordering again. Lovely pleasant delivery guy too !!!

Never been disappointed with the food always enjoy and tasty. Love the bbq spare ribs and the beef chow mein. service fast highly recommend.
