Normally nice but disgusting tonite .. asked for extra sauce in chow mien and it’s come dryer than any other time .. the crispy shredded chicken hardly has any sauce and taste burned .. really un happy with tonit’s meal could have gon to peakin house and got 4 dishes for 15 pound of garbage but I chose to come here and pay a little more for better quality and tonite I feel like throwing it in the bin!!! Really disappointed! Literally a full plate wasted can’t eat no more after a mouth full of burned shredded chicken .. all I can taste .. that’s just lost a weekly returning customer!!

Just ordered a large meal for the family and very disappointing when spend good money to be served rubbish food i will never come back or recommend this place over £50 wasted.

Delivery drivers lovely, the food unfortunately was vile and cold. Ordered dinner for me and my 3 kids, it took ages too long then when it came the curry sauce was crushed in the bag and the whole meal was ruined and covered in curry sauce meaning nobody could eat it.. except me...Their solution? Sending me another tub of curry sauce. Over £35 absolutely wasted ... Rubbery, tasteless, cold, late.

Awful service. Ordered salt and pepper chicken no chillies. They sent wings. Rang to say it was wrong what was sent and was shouted at to say the order was checked twice…it wasn’t. Appalling rest of order was semi cold so Will definitely not be ordering again and will tell everyone we know not to go there.

Chips were hard tasted days old. Sweet and sour sauce so runny tasted like water. Chicken tasted gone off. Rude staff after calling. Was a mother's day treat

Used them several times and food has been great. Used them recently on a Monday placed an order via there website/foodhub only for it to be cancelled 20mins later "sorry where closed". Schoolboy error, when your closed don't accept orders

Errrrrr spent 30quid on this tonight and it was horrid the meat tasted so old and dry, slimey chips and the duck was vile do not order from here unless you want to throw up like I just have 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

I would like to make a big complaint against this company, we have a border collie puppy and we have all the steps in place to to say you must close the gate when you come in and when you leave. When our food got delivered we couldn’t see the gate wasn’t closed properly due to it being dark so when the lady left we let our puppy out thinking the gate was shut right but infant it wasn’t. Our puppy then managed to get out and it took us over 20 minutes to get her back in, when it came to us getting out food it was cold. When I phone the restaurant about what has happened they never apologised or say it will never happen again they hung up on me. When I tried to phone the back they ignored my calls and never did anything about it. If my puppy wpipd of got knocked over by a car I would taking them to court because we have got everything in place to say we have a dog loose and they failed to pay any attention to it. After this I will not be ordering from these again and I would advise other people to do same as they don’t care about you or your property as long as they get paid. Horrible people and horrible company do I urge you to not order from this company.

Bland tasteless, thought I'd try it for a change from my usual, used to be good , defo not that case now. Wasnt impressed at all ,wont be using again. Waste of £20

Won’t be ordering again wasted 14 pound on food that was poor, the crispy chilli chicken was either really really burnt or there was just no chicken in it just all batter. Have this from every takeaway I get and it’s never been like this. Jus poor might as well have just ordered batter in a box!

We have had a few meals this last 2 months. Every meal has been spot on. Great quality, plentiful and tasty.

Seaweed tasted like it had been washed in disinfectant Spicey curry was tasteless Sweet n sour pork was watery and tasteless it all went in the bin

Ordered 30 pounds worth of food chips where old and re cooked spring rolls had no fillings in them chilli chicken is normal nice but just tasted like batter curry sauce had no flavour at all spare ribs wasn’t even bbq tasted like old meat egg fried rice was just plain rice no taste to it or egg init won’t be ordering again as it’s been a massive let down especially when ordering that much

So I normally would rave about this place but not tonight. Order usually chicken chow mien, salt and Peter chips and chicken wings and spring rolls. Well what can I say salt and pepper chips where hard and tasteless. Chicken wings were bland and tasteless. The chow mien even my daughter who normally eats one to herself wouldn't eat it. I notice it's a different chicken. I phone to explain where I was told to put chow mien and chips back into box and I will get it exchange in 10 mins. 30 mins later I had to call back to check how long, 5 mins later only a chow mien turned up. When I question the driver he advised me to call up. When I called again and explain without warning I was just left to listen to telling between two people (not great customer service) I was then asked to put all food back in container (which meant taking the new chow mien off my 7 year old). And again wait till someone fetches me a new one. At this point I refuse as I order it at 6pm, now 1hr 40 mins later after already waiting longer then advise. I explain that my daughter has to go to bed soon and I refuse to take food off her after waiting this long. Again I was left to listen to the argument between two people. I love 5 mins drive away from the place. Would prefer a better customer service and understanding not listen to other argue.

Just had a chicken curry and fried rice with chips it was disgusting g not nice at all chips were horrible didnt eat them we have had meals from there for years but they are not good now won't be going any more

Munchie box was far from being that as everything was burnt, only at the chips that were edible.

First and last time we order from eya. My son woke up been sick due to the food and i found my self doing the same 2 hours later. We have both had cronic gut rot all morning and fighting for the toilet.

Ordered sweet n sour chicken ball but they forgot the sauce did fetch one up but then my chicken balls were cold .The chips were hard not cooked through and the chicken wings were dry .Not a happy customer 😒😬

Third time complaining about egg fried rice very stogie all stuck together and totally inedible. Won't be using again

Everything I've tried has been at least 'fine' Some things are excellent, like the best Chinese curry sauce I've ever had! It's worth collecting your order in person, just to experience the tastiest smell imaginable!

Communication and customer service are shocking, rude, and boorish. Staff and owner can`t do the math - no change given and trying to overcharge. Complained immediately that I paid already and waiting for the change. After waiting for 20 min while they re-check all their cash, I got thrown coins into my face. Disgraceful behavior. Items missed from orders, wrong items given. No chance to get them to accept and rectify their mistakes and errors. It is just unbelievable. Simply the worst place I have ever seen. Avoid it at all costs.

Order through just eat every Wednesday,on average we spend £25 a week, £100 a month! The food is lovely and usually the orders are perfect. On the few occasions it has gone wrong and we've rang to try and have it rectified the communication and customer service is shocking! Missed things from the order then end up being charged for something we haven't received!

Very good food and great service to so if you like Chinese food you no were too go they or very friendly fast service they also offer delivery service as well so please check them out you wont be disappointed thats how good it is

Rubbish! Tried for first time, tried over charging me £3 for prawn crackers which I didn’t ask for! Spring rolls were dripping in grease. Shop was filthy. Hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour. Tasted like dirty water with bits of fatty meat in it. Would never order again and will advise others not to order here!

Ordered via just eat at 7.30. rang to enquire at 9pm told the driver had left. Rang and 9.30 concerned if in deed the driver had left it would Noe be cold as we live 5 mins away. Rang again at 10pm. Sorry we didn't see your order. 2 and a half hours later. Terrible. Then when I said I want a refund they told me to sort it myself with just eat and give them a ring.

First time here, had a beef curry it was sublime! lovely staff, huge menu, choice of large or small portions and great prices, what more can i say..... come on down! : )

Really great Chinese, good value for money because of the big portions. The salt and pepper chips were delicious and the special fried rice was really good with big prawns which were really fresh. Definitely will be ordering again from here!

Don't even deserve the one star, but food cost £25 for special fried rice which was cold and tasted old, and spare ribs was all fat, pancake roll cold and discusting and chow mein that made my daughter sick, there was no meat only lumps of fat and could not even get a bag of chips right. I WILL NOT GO EVER AGAIN.

This is the 2nd time been let down by them we ordered food still not here after an hour rang them to get told it would be here soon first time and then tonight phoned them to see where order was they asked address then put phone down disgusting they have lost our custom and our family half the time my husband has to warm it up as it's like warm when it comes. Overall would avoid this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered on hungry house, when I opened the bag of food I discovered that my large chicken curry was in fact just a large curry sauce. I ate it as I was starving (waited an hour for delivery) then called to complain - no apology, I was just put on hold for 3 mins before been told someone would call me back. They did call back about 5 minutes later and offered to deliver one in 10 minutes but I didn't want it so I have £2.40 off my next order... food was average, not sure I'll cash in my £2.40!

Always order our chinese takeaway from here. Food is always piping hot and delivered on time. Nothing bad I can say about this place.

It is only getting 1 star because you can't leave no stars. We had a pork curry and there was barely any meat, only pure fat. It was disgusting. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all. And when we phoned up to complain they put the phone down on us twice. Disgusting. I don't believe pork is grey when cooked with hard fat.

Ordered a couple of times Good food, cheap and a lot for money. Delivery normal takes over an hour but everything cooked fresh and is always busy when I've been in. Best Chinese I've had and every so often ill order from somewhere else just to see if there better.

Ordered a £16 meal which included as the main meal a Large King Prawn Curry. The ribs as a starter where fine (just). The curry was rank of curry powder and had 5 king prawns in it, full of onions though. Phoned to complain and was passed to two people. The call lasted 15 mins. In the end they have refunded me. I said I was happy to pay for the ribs. They have refunded me for the chips as well as the rice etc but still charged me a delivery!! I also had to send back the full meal. No problem as I'd not opened the rest, but I'd like to know whats happening to it now. Probably going back in the pot. Ive ordered from the China Star, which is what I should have done in the first place. We have used this place for the last 35 years + but never again.
