Oriental Style in Hounslow

Ordered a delivery via the restaurant directly. I have used this place for a number of years now However I won't be using them anymore. My issue is that I can't imagine the Chef or cook is blind. So I take it as an insult when I get sent food that should never have been sent to ANY customer let alone a long time regular like mysel. The Chicken Balls were dark brown, hard and some welded together. Believe me they looked and were ridiculosly bad. The Curry was like water. Totally lacking in flavour and body. Awful. The FACT I was sent this tells me how contemptuous they can be. AVOID

Terribly rude service at start of order when placing the order by phone. Despite this still ordered food for 4 people however the food never arrived despite giving all correct details . Waited over 2 hours never received a call before giving in and ringing the restaurant back who blatantly lied saying they had called when we never receive a single call. Disgustingly rude on second call also , no help at all only started to argue with us . No point ordering with this shambles of a « takeaway »

This place was lovely up until recently. Quality just isn't the same. Shame really. I carried on using them in the hope it would return to what it was but it hasn't. The chicken balls aren't crispy anymore. The batter goes soft and doughy even when they are well done. The beef in the chow mein is a lot chewier The chicken in the chicken with mushrooms is drier. Sadly after using them for 5yrs I shall be taking my custom elsewhere.

Until I found this place I couldn’t find a decent Chinese to match the food I enjoyed growing up in Liverpool with China Town on my doorstep. I live in Woking & travel to here as it really is good Chinese food! I’ve never ordered Thai & wouldn’t as they’re Chinese chefs/owner so I’ll stick with my Thai from a Thai Restaurant. Portions are large & quality is there too.

Went here for crispy shredded chilli chicken and salt and chilli chips. Excellent food. Great price.

I regularly use TA to identify eateries when staying away on business ... and was drawn to Oriental Style by the rave reviews. All I can say is "NO!"I paid £11 for a carry out consisting of Tom Yam soup ... which was barely average. Pad Thai ... which was heavy, stodgy, claggy and very unpleasant ... and a tiny bag of prawn crackers.I can only imagine that the people who have left rave reviews have never had a decent Thai meal in their lives.The following night I paid less for a first class Indian meal ... and dined in!

Still use this place , normally we always go for either beef chow or chicken chow mien , chicken pad Thai , never disappoints, whenever we have phoned in an order always told about 45 mins to an hour however food normally comes with 20 mins, excellent value for money , still prefer it to Chungs which is also nearby

I just wanted to say this is by far the best Chinese/Thai Takeaway in Heston & Hounslow!!I I have ordered twice from them and not once we have been let down. The food comes piping hot & so fresh. They DONT fill up their dishies with loads of peppers /onions to their food - ie like other restaurants will add nothing but onion & pepper & no other vegetables. Oriental style add good vegetables to their Thai curry's This makes a big difference to the dishes.And its so tasty!Please keep the good work up.

Had a huge amount of the menu due to my stay at the close by hotel. Haven't had a dish that's let me down. Always piping hot and fresh tasting ingredients. The best one around here....... They do a broader range of Asian food, such as Thai, which I have had, it's good. But for me go to the Chinese and get Chinese.....

This is only a takeaway however I think the food from here is far better then Chungs nearby for quantity , quality and value for money. We always order from here the chicken chow mien which is better then the the beef in my opinion,deep fried chilli beef, they have an extensive and varied menu covering Chinese, Thai and Malay dishes. My son loves their green curry. My other favourite is both the chicken or beef in black bean sauce
