As aussies, we wanted to try a full British Chinese experience so we took time to research the best place and travelled almost an hour to eat here. We were not disappointed! We got a LOT of food and it was cheap and delicious. The actual restaurant is small and a bit old but it adds to the authenticity.

Portions are big enough. Overall foods are tasty. Good price

Been living in London over 3 years and this is my favourite place to order from. The food is always top tier, i like my meals spicy and i always leave a note asking them to make it super spicy scale and they nail it every single time! My girlfriend now even has to almost beg me to order from different places sometimes lol. Keep up the good work team!

The noodle is very dry, make sure to get your couple bottles of water so you can actually eat it. if you are ordering from here

If you are on a budget this it the best place for Chinese food. The owner is a lovely guy, great brother. I have been eating here for around 4 years now and the taste of the food is brilliant. The Chefs seem like authentic Chinese chefs . Tasty food ..Friendly owner.

Dumplings thick and raw, chow mein tasted off. Food was not fresh, tasted days old and all had a weird taste. Honestly, the worst Chinese we have had. So disappointed.

This place can be so hit and miss sometimes really good or really bad- no medium or consistency.

I was reluctant to get food here because of price and 3.6 stars Tried it because of uber discount And damn this food is banging no idea why it has a low score Got a special chow mein and a sweet and sour chicken both super good and got here fast Best local chineese here in my opinion

I had placed order on uber eats many times from this restaurant and all the time they were so good to me on phone to change the order but today the guy on the phone was so rude, he was refusing to change the order and saying that order is already ready when i called to restaurant straight after placing the order. Literally, he was lying. How come order can be ready in one minute. I requests owner of this restaurant to fire this guy who was on the phone today as soon as possible otherwise ready to lose more regular customers like me. I want full refund now so please refund me as soon as possible otherwise i will never ever order from you guys anymore. Thank you

Order arrived 2 hours late and food was barely edible

I ordered chicken curry with fried rice and never had any issues but few days ago when I ordered that a lady gave me chicken curry with full of oils and with uncooked vegetables + chickens aint going to that point restaurant anymore

When I think of Beijing House I think of fantastic food, good portion size and plenty of satisfaction. The food is always hot, flavoursome, and filling. I have never been disappointed by their food, and I've tried a lot of it! Beef in Black Bean sauce and the Roast Pork are the stand outs in my opinion and their salt and pepper squid is top tier! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I order from this restaurant a lot and never had any issues before, until today when I specified the chicken chow mein was for my child and asked for no vegetables… The meal arrived spicier than their chow mein usually is, and whilst there was no veg, there was visibly loads of chilli ?! I rang the restaurant and there was no apology. Just told me to call UberEats for a refund. Weird.

Good food big portion Small place with to many delivery drivers in dirty clothes coming in and out . They should wait outside rather then inside the restaurant.

Ordered via Uber Eats before coming here to read the reviews. Not gonna lie, I got scared of what I was gonna get but the food is as expected, simple and delicious. Portion sizes are quite good as well.

Just wonder if the chef and staff eat the food? Because I can’t. Soggy overly fishy squid, pink coloured chicken, nothing tasted right, and I love Chinese food. Guess the dish in the photo! Maybe couldn’t get decent ingredients on New Years Day?? All wrong.

The most revolting food. Soggy and flavourless fried rice. Tough and chewy sesame prawn toast. Spring rolls with minimal filling. Hong Kong sweet and sour was floury and chewy. Vegetable chow mein needed vegetables and not just noodles. Complete waste of money as it has gone in the bin.

I had ordered twice the meals , and all I can say is that I simply loved the food. Very well prepared, delicious combination of spicies, soft beef, the dishes I choose were absolutely delightful, and very good prices. The deliver was fast and the driver too polite. I absolutelly recommend it! You will love it!

Great cooks, great food. Cheap and big portions served with a smile. Love the £6.50 meal deal, £5 for students. Highly recommended! The sweet and sour chicken comes with pineapple slices which is great. Ginger chicken is great too, as well as black bean and the garlic sauce one. I always go there when I'm in the area. My mom loves this place too

I have ordered from here previously and the fried rice was fine, the most recent order the rice was soggy and you can't really call it fried rice, the fried rice had some kind of sauce and it was clumpy. I ordered House Special Fried Rice and Mix Seafood Fried Rice, maybe they changed the recipe to be more authentic chinese but I won't be ordering from here again.

We used to order all the time from here, but recently the food has gone down hill so badly, sadly this will be the last time we order from this place. Tonight's order was like a comedy show from the moment the phone was answered. Then the food arrived and well what awful quality. The best thing about this place is the lovely delivery driver 💙

Excellent sweet + sour chicken, rice /chips. Best Chinese I've had for a long time. Portion size was good. 👍. Only thing, guy didn't have a clue when I asked for half rice half chips. When i was a lot younger all chippys used to do this. Is this a thing of the past?

Best Chinese here great food and value

Pretty good food, but has become very expensive to buy a dish here, since Covid. Almost £10 for a simple mixed vegetable with prawns takeout meal.

This is mainly a carry out shop but they do have tables & chairs so you can eat in, which are basic. There is a limited selection of meals which come with rice, about 5 - 7 from memory. However I was impressed with the serving size and how good it was.

Seen a few poor reviews but we’ve always had really decent food from Beijing House. Having lived in the area a long time, we’ve tried plenty of other places over the years but I really rate this place. Decent size portions, good choice, quick to make online orders and I like the fact you can see the open kitchen as they make the food. Nice people too.

How good the food is depends on what you order. The crispy spicy beef was lacking the beef. More of deep fried batter. The ginger beef and spring onions was a whole lot better. Lunch price was right and service was fast. UPDATE they use an excessive amount of salt, used a large ladle to scoop out what could have been close to a cup of salt and added it the cooking noodles. The meal was completely overwhelmed by the taste of salt and had to throw most of the noodles away. The duck was good. Most unfortunate. My suggestion…ask them to skip the salt. If not for that, they could have had a much higher rating from me.

I order from Beijing house using their website once or twice a month for the last 3 years and for the most part it’s been ok. I’ve had two bad experiences. The first one was just before the pandemic where I was waiting at the counter to be served and the Iranian proprietor decided that the non-brown person who just came in deserved to be served first. I left and decided to order online. It was ok until yesterday when I placed the order for pick up an hour later. When I got to the restaurant the same proprietor informed me politely that I hadn’t ordered. I showed him my PayPal payment and the order confirmation at which point he realised their new software was in technical parlance ‘shit’. Suffice to say I won’t go back again. I did get a refund for the food that I ordered but apparently didn't order !!!!

Eat here is you have a strong stomach. They gave me food poisoning. I ordered dragon fried rice which came with prawns, cucumber, pork and duck. I was wondering why the dish was inexpensive; I found out early the following morning. I didn’t eat the meat but I did have the prawns. If I could give no stars I would.

Spur of the moment dinner, after work with my son. The Food was served hot and with 10 minutes. Friendly service and reasonably priced food. 👍 Complimentary bottle of water.

I asked if i could order with someone who's familiar with my order (i order for my work colleagues 3x a week) she suggested i call back in 3 hours to make the lunch order, then got upset when i said thats not very smart is it. She Hung up and has now block my number, wow what a way to throw away a regular. I will never go there again id suggest you dont start. If they dont value a regular buisness order good luck with yours!

Not good foot dont waste your money

Ordered mixed szechuan with fried rice, got home curry sauce seriously dont listen even after repeating 3 times due to past mistakes , ordered extra portion satay sauce, £2 seriously it was a tub the size of a tiny dip youd get from supermarket or with a pizza !! Absolute rip off of a place ,they think they're at the Ritz in london lesson learned 🙈🙈

I’d advise against ordering form this place. I ordered dinner from here. They didn’t even have the decency to contact me directly, they had Deliveroo contact me and notify me that they gave my order to the wrong driver and refused to remake the order. Take your business elsewhere where businesses know how to treat customers. I should have paid more attention to the reviews before I ordered.

Placed an of several dishes. I don't eat pork and their menu don't show the main ingredients. But if I order crispy chicken with chow mein noodles, I don't expect it to contain pork. So I called the restaurant to ask what meat the dish contains. The lady on the phone was rude and her reply was it has pork, everyone knows that. Who is everyone I asked, she said everyone knows it. No apology whatsoever, that was the end of the call and the end of my custom there.

We were astounded with the food delivered by Beijing House, I am always a little apprehensive when ordering for the first time, but this place! We are customers for life... Food came hot and delicious. Every dish was perfect, really set off our Saturday night in lockdown! Can't wait to eat-in this restaurant when conditions allow. Many thanks to Irari (that's his name) in the restaurant. Even the delivery driver was great. These guys have really put effort into the full experience, from ordering through to delivery. We ordered direct with the restaurant, we feel it supports them better rather than through one of these delivery apps. I'm so delighted and excited to share my experience about this place, order with them directly, you won't be disappointed.

Order a meal for the family via Uber. Dinner never arrived, Uber driver marked the order as delivered. Rang the restaurant and was told once they have given the food to the driver, their job is done. Remarkable! Telling a customer who has just paid for food and not received it from your restaurant, that its the problem of the delivery company is not a good customer strategy. The person on the phone identified himself as "James Bond". If I were you, steer well clear of this place. They do not understand customer service, at all

Everyday price different Use to have Singapore noodle rice for £5:50 They changed £6:50 for past couple months. Tonight lady charges £8.09 with less shrimps No water or drink. Surely I am not coming back Bad service recently.

I’ve order food over two hours ago and it still hasn’t arrived, trying to call the restaurant to ask if it has been dispatched through just eat. Don't seem to be getting any response from either end. So disappointed with Beijing house. Have the courtesy to pick the phone up at the bare minimum. Fuming to say the least.

Absolutely shocking unsafe delivery service - when I opened the front door the delivery man was standing there with his mask around his neck, only a few centimetres away from me instead of providing a Covid safe contactless delivery! I said to him that you actually need to wear the mask over your mouth and nose/face and he said “that’s what I’m doing” - I replied it’s around your neck! I have now read other negative reviews describing the very unsafe practices Beijing House are permitting with regards to deliveries from their premises. Such a shame as the food is good, but seems they would rather make money than be Covid safe for their customers.

Such a rude delivery person, claimed had been sat outside our house for ten minutes. No idea why he didn’t ring our doorbell. Didn’t answer his phone, website phone number directs to the talking clock, and when you manually input the numbers it just gets hung up on you. Food looks and tastes sub par

We ordered a delivery order for Sunday. Delivery arrived very prompty well within the hour specified. Food was absolutely delicious. The best local Chinese we have had! I feel the pork balls need a special mention - a good portion of pork with a lovely crispy batter (we just hate those thick stodgy ones). Coconut rice definitely recommended. Singapore noodles lovely and spicy but not overpowering. Mixed starter a must!! And as a bonus we had another meal from the leftovers. Great size portions!!!

After Uber eats messing up our order we thought it was best to call up and order directly from the restaurant. After being met by a very rude person over the phone, the fact we were starving meant we continued to persue our order to collect. On arriving at the store the small area left for people to collect orders was packed full with delivery drivers and other people waiting to collect their orders- many without masks. Staff prioritised deliver drivers over customers to collect and very rudely handed over orders without checking. Its such a shame one of the local bests has lowered its standards, food quality and customer service to facilitate mass demand from delivery services.

I ordered £60 worth of food for myself and my family at 3pm and it was meant to arrive by 4pm. By 4.30 as it hadn’t arrived I called and once they had spoken to the driver found out my order had been given to another house. Didn’t bother to inform us or anything we could’ve been waiting for even longer if I hadn’t called. Said that they weren’t able to get a refund unless we went down to the place to get it. Absolutely ridiculous service.

Not happy with the unprofessional behaviour from the owners of this restaurant, Uber eats had an error on the system, and our order was not being processed, we called the restaurant and made a direct order instead. 30 minutes later we had 2 drivers turn up , one which was our original order from Uber eats that we didn’t think had gone through but it had as I had proof through PayPal...then another driver arrived with the 2nd order.... I was not paying for another meal which was the fault of the restaurant, this driver called the restaurant and the owner threatened us, by telling the driver to call the police if we don’t pay for both orders, when we had already paid for 1, the same order! Then a 3rd order was on its way through Uber eats...but was cancelled by the restaurant... I will not be ordering from this restaurant ever again....
