The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Yorkshire and The Humber

First time we have ordered from here and we really enjoyed the chicken curry and special curry and rice. It was delivered on time , the food was delicious and the delivery man was lovely and polite. Thank you so much

STAY AWAY FROM THIS TAKEAWAY!!!! Absolutely disgusting. One of their staff members are going around calling people b*stards over the phone and are very rude and interrogating. I live over the road in a block of flats and all I can hear is their telephone ring tone over my television. Absolutely disgusting how she delt with it !!!!! Never buying from here again!!!!!

Worst Chinese ever. 18 quid for below average munch box. The chicken (dog meat) was like eating a rubber. The place needs burning down. The sauce was too small, the rice was worse than uncle bens and the wings were as black as the ace of spades. Ribs were just bone and the spring rolls were soft and just an unpleasant experience. I wouldn’t even feed this to the dog, not because it’s cannibalism but because it tastes that bad.

Place or order took money out of bank and waited for an hour for the food no show so phone them to be told they have no recived an order so phone bank to check money has come out and it had so they wanted code so they could cancel the transaction Phoned top wok back for code but would not give me it told me IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM

Total rubbish and that’s what I think on a good day Hey have a laugh and try and ring them You’ll not get through as the number is not recognised The place itself is grotty having walked there and I wouldn’t like to eat anything they cook there Pure bad

Sorry but the worst Chinese ever,straight in the bin,no words,beef curry and chips,Onions sorry not for me and so watery chips not cooked.

Disappointed, this used to be our favourite Chinese until the food quality & taste just wasn't the same, a friend said they had tried it recently so thought why not, we will give it another go, spent £29, chips dry, no spice or nice flavour to our Thai chow mein or Thai rice, curry sauce had a funny taste, no free prawn crackers or free mini rolls, won't be giving it another go 😭

The best Chinese around - tried lots of places whilst it’s been closed and nothing compares ! When are you re opening?! The food is amazing! No one can do the the hot and sour soup, and salt and pepper spare ribs wings atall the same way! Along with the rest of the food.

Always a good meal. Hot & Sour Soup 10/10, many great dishes including satay chicken skewers, prawn crackers, prawn toast, peking ribs, sweet and sour chicken, beef Black Bean, fried rice and noodles. Customer for many years.

I don't like to leave negative reviews but honestly the food was awful, the dishes were bland, even those with chili, not a hint of flavour. Then I tried the spring roll, had to spit it out. Most of the meal was unfortunately thrown away

East garden you holes , rang u at 620 and you kept me on hold while taking Two orders as I listened too what your customers ordered then took my order , to say it would be a hour which is OK, then I ring at 810 to ask when order was coming for you too say it's on its way , then five minutes later you call me too ask what I ordered and you would make it fast and send it now , you f holes I'm starving now .

Been using Ocean for the last 25 years and honestly love the place, the food is always spot on, the lady who serves has been there as long as I can remember & she’s fabulous. Their special curry, or chicken/mushroom curry is delicious, Singapore chow mein can’t be beaten, ribs yum, sweet/sour chicken Hong Kong style is soooo good! I could go on. Thank you for many happy years x
