Ordering from the s2 one for a number of years now. Never disappointed in their food. Today it was exceptionally delicious

Worst meal we've had in years. Sat waiting in the Chinese to collect the food so you would expect it to be nice and hot. 3 mins to home by car. Served food up onto hot plates and the food was luke warm. Not hot. It had been sat ages. The top of the lid to the chow mein was full of water from condensation in the carrier bag it had been sat so long. The salt and pepper chicken was tasteless. You wouldn't have thought it was salt and pepper chicken. 30 quid of take away food and it had to go in the microwave. Won't ever go back..

Collected food, didn't eat any of it, the shop kitchen area ect is filthy, built up grime, looks like things haven't been moved in years, extremely cluttered, definitely got to have nice/rats, it also had a funny smell like dead flesh I got home and threw the food in the bin and ate biscuits, had to wash my hands too definitely wasn't eating it. £18 down the drai n

Our go-to chinese takeaway. Salt n Pepper munch box is a favourite, Always plenty to share around family & guests as portion sizes are good. Order direct instead of going through just eat!

The food has always been nice but the last time we ordered from there the food was late and we had to ring up multiple times to chase it up and it's happened again where our order hasn't arrived on time and we've been told another 20 minutes and we'd already been waiting 90 minutes so we cancelled our order. Won't be going back

Mate told me this is the best in Sheffield. We tried it and it's the best in Sheffield and Chesterfield by far. Fantastic value for money and taste is second to none. Try and you won't go anywhere else.

I had really bad food poisoning after eating this and took over 2 hours to come would definitely stay away

Food was absolutely horrible,,I asked for the most popular dish,She said it was Beef with honey, It was covered in Syrup,No Honey just the cheapest and most sugary syrup they could probably find, I asked three friends to try and all said the same , I hate to throw food away but that’s going to feed the local foxes, Also the spring rolls were all burnt On a good note,at least the Prawn Crackers were ok.

The beef chow mein was absolutely banging! Definitely my new go to 🥰 However given lower rating as the duck in plum sauce was so salty, dry and overcooked it didn't get eaten. The s&p chicken balls and chips was also overcooked but still edible. Delivery driver was lovley and bubbly.😊

Food brilliant but delivery let's it down

The best Chinese I’ve ever had, the food is 10/10. I always come back for more, the food has been amazing every time the price is great too. Always says 30mins to collect and is always ready on time. I’ve been coming for 2+ years and never had an issue.

Absolutely spot on! Even when we've rang (only once) to find out where our food was, we were met with politeness, food is ALWAYS 10/10! Really is the No1 Chinese takeaway in my opinion

Genuinely really happy with the quality of food from here. Spent £33 on food split for 3 people, big portions. Only negatives are the spring rolls were a tad dry but still tasted lovely and the chips were also a little dry but if you’re pairing them with a sauce-based dish then there should be no problem. Szechuan pork is incredibly and the perfect spice level - not too hot but definitely a kick Regular rice was split between 3 so definitely more than enough. Definitely will be ordering from here again, lived in Sheffield for just over 2 years and this is the nicest Chinese takeaway to date

This place has really gone down hill....I stopped ordering for a month, due to the food not tasting very nice and tasting very old....I ve ordered and nothing has changed, if anything its got worse ....food taste horrid very very old nothing taste fresh ....

Just had the freshest, tenderist beef chop suey... Vegetables crispy and succulent, the beef was so tendersised it just melted in the mouth .. Delivery was 1st class, friendly courier and the takeaway arrived hot and it also looked and smelled delicious...

This really is one of the best in Sheffield. Speedy delivery and the food is piping hot and tastes wonderful. Highly recommended 👌still the one to beat! 5 star

Rubbish! Poor quality dishes Waste of money Food went in the bin Ordered delivery via website and our food was delivered on time, however... Chips dry reheated couldn't eat. Salt and pepper squid - overcooked and mainly just batter went in the bin Pork and mixed vegetables - pork dry cardboard texture just covered in sauce. All in all a waste of money for poor quality food that we ended up throwing away it was that bad. Shame as we have used No1 Chinese in the past and had a good experience. but last two times food has been shocking hence 1 star.

Ordered a small munch box, which I used to have a lot and really enjoyed. It arrived in good time, but honestly it's nothing like it used to be. The ribs were tiny and scabby, the shredded beef and chicken were overcooked, and the coating wasn't seasoned like it used to be. It was plain, and I could see flour on some bits. The chips, spring rolls and wings were ok, but everything just had salt slung all over it (I am aware it's a SALT and pepper box, but salt shouldn't be used to compensate for lack of flavour). Sadly I don't think I'll return. I'll stick to New Loon Fung, which is beautiful.

Usually I would happily sing this takeaway praises as it's always been excellent and fresh everytime we have ordered. With this order however, we were very let down with the food. The crispy shredded beef was completely inedible and more scorched than crispy, the prawn toast appeared to be triple fried, burnt and covered in grease and the spring rolls we're also inedible and burnt (appearing to be triple fried). Unfortunately tonight none of the food we received seemed to be fresh and it just seemed as though it had been thrown back into the fryer. Normally I'd be happy to receive an order that was as fast as 15 minutes, but this just seemed to be thrown together. We were very displeased to say the least, which is a shame as we've always enjoyed ordering from here.

Wasnt impressed juat had my food. The chips were overcooked and dry. Ordered a beef dish and got sauce with no beef. So the order was misheard. Spring rolls burnt and overcooked. Salt and papper chicken hardly had and salt and pepper. Overall wasnt happy

Sometimes I come here for a bite to eat. It's not bad in principle, but there are a few little things, like overcooked chips.

One of the best Chinese Takaways in Sheffield! Portion sizes are worth the price. They package the food very well and is always very hot on arrival. When it's not busy, the delivery times are incredibly short. I always ask for no prawn crackers (don't eat em and they get wasted) and was pleasantly suprised with free spring rolls and a 15min delivery time today. Some of the just eat delivery drivers sometimes get the address wrong but the restaurant have always rectified appropriately.

Food wasn't very nice 😕,hardly warm ,late delivery , have ordered from here in the past & was lovely so not sure if new chef , chicken very dry ,left majority of it & left a very strange taste in my mouth .

Last couple of times been a bit off main meals usually OK but tonight's scabby chips as one person said also dry burnt prawn toast and weird looking two tone spring rolls did Not go down well

Easily the best Chinese in Sheffield or best I’ve ever had for the matter! Takes a long time to come because of how busy this place gets but it’s worth it and they always tell you the correct time. Always fresh and piping hot and loads of meat in the dishes

Usually decent but tonight its turned up within 20minutes of ordering which for what we ordered is way too fast. No egg in egg fried rice,scabby chips. Food tasted bland. Lost a customer tonight.

First time we had ordered from here. Negative first - delivery was an hour later than we expected. We ordered via just eat. I had to ring up to chase up the order. Positives - the food was very good. Vegetables very fresh, the food was hot and the portions very generous. Would I order from here again - yes definitely but I would order an hour before I actually wanted it.

Honestly, every time we order the food is lovely but tonight it was another level good. Massive portions and it had obviously just been freshly cooked. Our favourite chinese takeaway by far, highly recommended.

2020 Easily one of the best takeaway's of its kind. Absolute quality portions. You get what you pay for, which is rare to come by for similar takeaways in the city. Udon. Chow Mein. Salt & Pepper Duck. Top shelf. Truly blessed meals for many a blessed time.

Food was absolutely spot on and you get plenty of food for your money. We recently only tried here as our usual Chinese closed but I can honestly say we will be eating here again. Yes we waited along time but what do you expect during lockdown. So thank you very much, for keeping running through difficult times.

We've used them for a while, we have the same food too and it's always great. Delivery time can be long at times, but most of all, it's good. I wouldn't recommend the children's food as this comes out full of oil and greasy.

Waited 2 and a half hours for my food had to call twice to ask where it was and it was stone cold when it finally arrived.

What a poor service. Ordered a takeaway from here as my usual Chinese was closed. I order via the Just Eat app which usually works well for me. On this occasion, it was a different takeaway so was naturally nervous. Rather annoyingly my nervousness is what came to pass. The order was supposed to be delivered at around 8.20pm. I phoned at 8.30pm. I was told the food was with the driver. I phoned at 8.45pm, I was told the driver is lost as he is new. Whilst still on the phone, I was suddenly and surprisingly told that the order was actually still not made and that I should expect it at about 9.15pm. Almost 1 hour later than I expected it. Needless to say, I cancelled and had an argument with Just Eat to get my money back. I would give this takeaway 0 stars if i could. AVOID this place like the plague.

Absolutely rubbish would leave zero if I could, missed off half the order told us we were liars for asking for the full order, then when we argued for about 40 minutes for our food it then took them forever to bring the rest of the food, worst thing was the food was bang average, will not be ordering again really need to work on customer service skills.

If you want to waste your money then YES, this takeaway is the perfect place to order from. Ordered 2 times in the past noodles and was absolutely fine,no problems at all. My friend visited Sheffield for the weekend with his family and thought to order from this place and have a nice meal.However this time decided to order sweet chicken sour and "Mee Goreng Seafood box". This food was the worst food we ever had in our life from a Chinese restaurant as was so spicy that we couldn't even start the meal and not only that,they forgot to bring the large bottle of Pepsi. How can you forget a large bottle of Pepsi???Called the restaurant and explained the situation to a Chinese lady and the result was that it was too spicy for me as that's normal. I don't think so but whatever.After all the conversation that lasted more than 20 minutes,the lady said that "I don't want to bring Pepsi anymore and I will refund you the money with an aggressive attitude."What a customer service!! After all, we throwed the food in the bin worth of £32 and ordered from another takeaway. By the way still waiting for the refund after 5days.

I’m 21 one weeks pregnant and I have food poisoning! Do not order from here

Horrible I had rocks in my spring rolls very not happy about this. I thought I’d get a Chinese because it’s my birthday and I didn’t fancy cooking.Now I would have rather cooked, at least then I wouldn’t have to worry what had gone into my food. Really lost my appetite!

The order was irritatingly late. The estimated delivery time was way later than what it originally said and it was a further 20 minutes later than that. The food was mediocre quality, not exactly the "number 1 Chinese"

Do not use this Chinese it's the most shocking service food not cooked dirty and very rude on phone I advise you stay well clear from it or you asking for for trouble
