the worst food I've had for sometime, 100% warm ups, chewy chicken and lousy rice, deffo give this a miss.

Our food was amazing, chicken was so soft and tender. Everything was really tasty, hot and fresh. Best Chinese we've had in a long time. Definitely my favourite.

The place is ridiculous. Waiting 1hr and 40 mins for food that still hasn’t even left the restaurant. Rang 3 times to be told each time, it’s left and is being delivered - which is clearly a LIE. Absolutely shocking service and a friendly reminder to stick to what you know, rather than trying something new. TERRIBLE.

The Pad Thai bears no relation to any other Thai food I have ever had. It's pad Thai noodles mixed with a Chinese sweet and sour with some chillies thrown at it...absolutely inedible.

Amazing food, so tasty, filling and just amazing, 100% recommend, ordered my food which was the A1 deal for 2 peoples, and it came in about 20 minutes, amazing times on delivery, amazing service, wish I could review on just eat but just eat don't give that option

food arrived extremely early, a little inconvenient as we had timed feeding the new baby around ordering food. food arrived warm but not hot. ordered large salt and pepper munchy box. be mindful nothing is salt and pepper, it's mainly onions but no salt and pepper flavour. ribs were very tough and chewy . chicken dry, some of the crispy beef was edible, others could have broken a tooth. chicken balls were nice crispy on the outside, light and fluffy inside. overall disappointing.

What can I say. Food arrived 20mins early which was wonderful. Great food as always, very flavoursome and good value for money. Family enjoyed it all as we bought three different dishes and shared them between is. Would definitely order again and definitely recommend to family and friends 🧡

Oh wow where do I start ordered duck it came full of fat it wasn’t even duck got 1 wrap out of it. The special balls was absolutely disgusting and went in the bin. Never again!!!! Always thought golden bamboo was okay but after last night I will NEVER order from there again. The chicken fried rice was dry and chewy

What a shame. I was really hoping this would become our new go to for chinese food. Absolutely tastless roast pork curry. I mean how do you make something tasteles? The OK sauce the ribs were in was devine but as for the ribs just pure fat.

Ordered to wrong Chinese so never received my Order but was too late to cancel contacted restaurant and they told me to cancel order

large salt&pepper munchy box- although the food was plentiful it was lacking in the salt and pepper aspect, you get plenty of chips and an abundance of onions but not a chilli in sight. not salt and pepper as described. the ribs were dry and hardly any meat..chicken wings much the same. bbq spare ribs in sauce- meat dry, not a great deal of meat on the bone. sauce pretty much just oil with a hint of bbq. however the meal will easily feed 3people, it wasn't the worst and it did arrive early.

Long delivery time but well worth the wait. Excellent flavour and good portion size. 1st time ordering but will not be the last. Has salt and pepper box the only down side was food made the bottom of the box soggy. Would have put some tin foil at the bottom of the box.

Took ages to arrive… placed the order shortly after 5pm and didn’t arrive till after 7pm… 2 hours for a mid week order isn’t really acceptable

Only two prawns in special chow mein when there's usually at least four. Tasted different, maybe a new chef. Was ok but didn't enjoy it as much as usual

Appalling quality, cold, chewy “crispy” beef. Rang twice and just got told they were busy. Originally due between 8-8.20pm and eventually arrived at 9.35 so Just Eat’s maximum 60 minute delay wasn’t enough. Sweet n sour balls soggy, stodgy. Disgraceful.

The best Chinese restaurant in Brighouse! A personal favourite for me and my partner. We definitely recommend the curry sauce with special fried rice! A pleasure every time!

I don’t like giving a negative review as I’ve ordered food from here many times without issues, but I won’t be ordering again, very bland pale special fried rice, little meat, wontons were flat pastry rolled envelopes with zero flavour or filling, even the chips went in my air fryer to crisp up, very disappointing and I threw most of it in the bin. Waste of money, I’m guessing a change of chef?

2 hrs to deliver a takeaway is just far too long. Sorry

Always friendly staff, either the delivery guys or the staff if ever I've made a mistake ordering and needed to change it they have been more than helpful. (Having ADHD I can make mistakes and they have always been amazingly helpful, patient and kind). The food is always warm and wonderful and always arrives so quickly. ❤️ thanks guys!

We had the Banquet for four last night -C1. Absolutely beautiful, from the starters to the mains. When myself & the wife were unpacking and sorting it out we wondered how we were going to get through it all. It made for a great night for the four of us. Highly recommended.

Best Chinese takeaway in brighouse

I've been ordering from here for the last 3/4 years and in that time I never had any bad service an only one sub par meal that seemed like a one off. The last few times I've ordered here though have been completely different. I live above a pub so ask drivers to ring me when outside so I can get the food. No driver in Huddersfield has ever not got hold of me. The last few times I've ordered I've had no phonecall, they say they ring no missed call or voicemail ever comes through. As this was starting to get more frequent, I decided to take a pause from ordering here for a while. Tonight I thought I would give it another go. Yet again they "couldn't get through to me" and "my phone was off" I had put on my notes to ring me when they were on their way to stop this from happening, did they bother? No. Food arrived stone cold dumped outside the wrong flat. I rang the takeaway. Also they sent the wrong items.The man on the phone offered no apologies and basically said it was my fault. He then put me on to the driver who said my phone was off. Neither let me speak, spoke over me. When I did get a word in edge ways the driver called me "argumentative" at the end the "boss man" offered me another meal, but by the point of being lied to this many times and being blamed for their mistakes I was past it. Let me tell you I will be letting everyone know about the poor customer service here. For years I raved about this place, well no longer. Bad service, cold food!

Personal favourites are Singapore style vermicelli, chicken and black bean, chicken curry and salt & pepper chips. What can I say, soo tasty

Our usual place closed so tried here, wasn’t disappointed, extensive menu choices, food was excellent, tasty and good portions although the spring rolls were rather small, ordered and paid online, food ready to collect in 20 mins, will definitely use Golden Bamboo again

Not great . I’m not a fan of chicken done this way (boiled by the texture and taste ?).The rest of my chow mien was ok however just left all the chicken ! Fab salt n pepper chips Sweet and sour chicken balls far too big and a bit dry .expensive aswell .

We get Vermicelli and Chicken curry from here, both are normally excellent and arrive quickly, Vermicelli is sometimes a bit oily but not too often, there is enough to save for dinner the following day so worth every penny.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Ordered a few times from here and it’s been quite nice last but last night but took 1hr 45mins to come! I appreciate it’s busy on a sat night but the food was cold when it finally came. ordered salt & pepper chips which were over cooked, looked and tasted like they had been cooked and reheated! Egg fried rice was cold and gravy was just pure salt! Everything went in the bin! £6 for 3 sausages and a bit of gravy and a few onions!

Ordered an hour and a half ago, rang 3 times told on its way 3 times, then it’ll be 1 min then 3/4 mins, told they’d ring me back to confirm. Didn’t. Ordered still not arrived! Will not be ordering again. God knows what it will be like when it arrives! Spoilt out night. Children so upset. Poor service. Edit. Arrived after 1.40 mins. Food cold. Would give rating of 0 but won’t let me.

Only ordered from here as our regular Chinese take out was shut, The hot & sour soup tasted like vinegar, so went in the bin , the special fried rice , prawns had no taste, meat like wood, only good thing was the curry sauce My hubby’s meal beef special went straight in the bin will never use again.

Absolutely shocking 2 hours to be delivered phoned up twice to be fobbed of to be told it's on it's way when asked driver what was the delay was told it's nothing to do with him , will not use again and will tell family and friends to avoid

If I could, I'd give it minus stars. Just had "special "curry delivered. Almost nothing but onion. Rank chips that must have been cooked last week. Do yourselves a favour and this take away. They are terrible.
