Place or order took money out of bank and waited for an hour for the food no show so phone them to be told they have no recived an order so phone bank to check money has come out and it had so they wanted code so they could cancel the transaction Phoned top wok back for code but would not give me it told me IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM

I ordered the sweet noodle box and selected this option as it was advertised as ‘sweet’ and no symbols to show that it would be spicy (I.e the chilli symbol seen on some other noodle boxes). However, this noodle box was well beyond mild and had unbearable levels of spice for me to get through a few mouthfuls. Not as advertised. Delivery also arrived 30 minutes late.

We have ordered from top wok since it opened and have always enjoyed the food. Recently it has gone downhill unfortunately. Delivery often takes almost an hour and a half and the food is often cold. Our meal last night was poor quality with cold sauces, gloopy rice and soggy prawn toast. Very disappointing.

Food was not worth the money the salt and pepper box was just full of chips the ribs had no meat, and chicken balls were soggy.

Food ok this is the second time ordering from this takeaway they quote one hour delivery more like 1.45

Me and my wife ordered a takeaway last night as a weekday treat we have used top wok for 2 years and always been impressed by the quality of their food always recommending them to friends and family .last night very disapointed my wife’s food was cold .Iordered special sezcian which was hot but tasted terrible ! Not the usual colour or taste .Food went in the bin .I rung to complain English person answered and said he spoke to the chef and said I cud have the dish free next time and assured me it was the same chef and nothing had changed I encourage anyone who orders regular to please be cautious and check this before ordering to avoid disappointment I will be unfortunately trying different takeaways what a shame !

Absolutely ridiculous took almost 2 hours to arrive not the first time this has happened will not be using just eat to order food again, paid upfront by card and the restaurant were not interested when I phoned to find out where my order was just told me to contact just eat

Having ordered on the app a 8:15 and not receiving our food until 10pm unsatisfactory is not the word. Normally Top Wok is above reproach with their service but this was not the case. Thankfully the food was still hot but no common curtesy to inform us that the order would be later than quoted and when I phoned the staff member was less than sympathetic or apologetic in his attempts to fob us off trying to say it was because it was peak time and they have no way informing people of any delays which is totally false as the app registers the customers phone number.

Food was only lukewarm and some of the crispy items were softened by the condensation from inside the bag/carton, they’d obviously been sat waiting delivery.. Sunday night we were happy waiting a decent time, but cook the food closer to the driver being available..

The food was quite cool on arrival and no prawn crackers!!!! Disaster for us. It arrived early though. Wouldn’t order again, there’s plenty that will delivery hot food and the full order.

The Sing-a-box meal was very bland compared to the usual standard. Very disappointed as the taste is usually very good.

Looking at other reviews on here it seems we are not alone in experiencing rude staff. Part of the order not delivered told we would have to wait an hour and they refused to refund. Laughed when we said we would complain. Chicken balls dry as anything solid inside!

Very rude customer service and phone manner from the staff who are about 12. Food takes double amount of time they say to get cooked. Orded a noodle box tasted like it had been reheated all the meat was chewy. Will not order again!!

Ordered our food, not all of it arrived.. phoned to let them know and basically got accused of lying! The guy I spoke to said he’d packed it himself and it was definitely there... it wasn’t!!!! Collected food after 40 mins of ordering, was waiting a few mins to be served. Got home and a meal was missing. Called and she said oh it’s here on the side it hasn’t been packed, no apology. Drove all the way back to pick it up, again was waiting to be served, again no apology. Took it home to eat a luke warm meal

£50 spent. Salt and pepper special was so hard, that it had to go in the bin. Soup we ordered was cold and the pad thai wasnt pad thai at all. Very angry as £50 is alot of money to spend on a takeaway. Cant get over the starters. Ridiculous. Never ever ever ordering from there again.

Ordered two noodle boxes now, they have both bland. The hot chilli one was just greasy and awful. Luckily my partners satay rice dish was a big enough portion to share. The salt and pepper chips are also not good at all, hardly salt and pepper chips. Definitely won’t try again. The customer service is also bad.

Usually order from Top Wok and like the food however the customer service is appalling beyond words!!!! Food was missing from our order AGAIN the first time this was rectified and delivered with in 15 minutes, however the second time that food was missing from our order we rang and a rude, horrible man (not the owner) told us to come and collect it but when we said no he simply told us we were lying!!!!! Absolutely disgusting customer service he needs sacking a complete an utter jobsworth!!! Thanks Top Wok will never order from here again due to this disgusting customer service.

Ordered to be delivered at 7.30pm but arrived at 6.40pm. Spent nearly £50 but I ordered wrong rice and weren’t willing to change it. My fault so not willing to change. Their driver is lovely, but had to come back with the sauce which they forgot to put in. This is not the first time they’ve forgot things but let it go because we all make mistakes. Lost my custom for future orders.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! Ordered on their app at 7.15pm, still hadn’t arrived by 9.35pm!!Called to ask where it was, was told it was on its way and would be 10mins, called after that to be told the driver had gone past us to go to Wooley Grange, called again to be told it hadn’t been made yet... over 2hrs later!!Got dressed and went into the shop, the driver was in the shop and told me to F off, and then the proprietor also told me to F off and to never order again!!!The shop was full of customers and when I explained to them what had gone off and that i had waited over 2 1/2 hours for my meal, they were disgusted over how i had been treat and how i had been spoken to!!They did cook me a meal prior to telling me to F off and never order again, and my husband didn’t eat his for fear that they may have tampered with it.I am utterly disgusted with the way i was treat, and will definitely not be using them again.Horrible attitude towards customer service and disgusting delivery service.DO NOT USE!!!!I had to stop my husband going back into the shop after the way i was spoken to, as no doubt he would have been arrested for afray and criminal damage..We will be finding a better take away than this shower from now on!!!

Ordered my food Boxing Day-night, waited over an hour for it then phoned and asked where my order was and as usual I got the ‘it’s on its way’ response, waited a further 30 mins then phoned to cancel the order as was way past being hungry.. and probably was never coming in the first place to get ‘ok.’ And hung up on! Rude service throughout and they still probably would have charged me full price! I should have let them deliver it then turned them away! Fuming!

We regularly order a take away from this establishment. Great choice of food. Always gives an ETA of 45 minutes but never fails to arrive 20 minutes after you have ordered. Never. End disappointed.

I fancied a cheeky mid week Chinese takeaway & discovered my place of choice was having a holiday. Despite a bad experience on my last visit, I thought I'd give these guys another try.

The food was lovely and I will order again, however, the drink was never delivered which was part of the kid's meal deal. So £4.55 for 4 chicken nuggets and small chips was quite expensive.

The meal I ordered I have had many times, but from here it was very spicy for me. I ordered a bottle of red wine and they brought a bottle of echo rose summer fruits. I called out to the delivery man and said this should be red wine. He said that’s all we have. I said I don’t like rose. He shrugged his shoulders and walked off. They are a few doors away from a co-op so could have easily gone in bought cheapest red wine, which is a fiver and made £2.25. That would have been good customer service !!!

Long delivery time (90mins) but was so worth the wait! Noodle boxes are so tasty and HUGE, no need to order all the extra veggies that we did but all mega tasty, hot and fresh! Definitely will order again!
