The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Yorkshire and The Humber

We’ve tried a number of other Chinese restaurants and takeaways around the Halifax area, but none compare… Its not as cheap as some, but you get the most delicious food, it’s certainly worth a bit extra! We usually get takeaway, but have also eaten in. The staff are always very welcoming and attentive, and food is cooked and ready in a very short time One note to anyone going though… they no longer take card payments as they had a never-ending stint of failures from the card machine…. So, make sure you take some cash!!! Our favourite is the deep-fried chicken in plum chilli sauce… you get a full chicken breast battered and sliced, with or without veg (I always ask without) and the sweet sauce all over The egg fried rice is lovely and no extra herbs or spices, just the egg We also get the chips (more to bulk out the meal a bit) and my wife loves the Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs They do deliver, but you get a discount off the price for picking up yourself and a free bag of Prawn Crackers! Always good-sized portions and we always save half for another day It’s so morish – a proper treat every once in a while, (usually when the kids aren’t at home!!!) Defo recommend

Absolutely gorgeous food! Ordered quite a lot of food this evening and it arrived fairly quickly, piping hot and delicious 😋 not greasy and seasoned well, this is my new go-to Chinese takeaway!

I had a rice dish and spare ribs , both were really nice . Only negative is that I paid 4.60 for prawn crackers which other places give you for free . They were nothing special and overpriced …

Prawn crackers delicious , starters of sesame prawn toast and spring rolls delicious, main course of sweet and sour pork Hong Kong style, chicken and pineapple with egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips absolutely amazing, will definitely recommend and return

In my 64 years I have been to many Chinese restaurants and Chinese takeaways - including in China! This was one of the best. We called en spec on our way home one Friday evening. The food was excellent, particularly the honey roast pork. We had plenty left for a take home for the next day. We will try the set menu next time. Also the background music was very much to our taste, 1970s mix!

How long does 2 portions of chips, rice and curry sauce take. Currently sat on 1 hrs 30. Absolutely insane. Tried to save myself a bit of time. Rang after an hour after order evidently missed and currently sat half hour later. Shocking

We went here for lunch and then ended up heading back for Saturday night bingo. John and Paul were great. And we had great fun with the Bingo. Highly recommend giving them a visit.

Ordered food to be delivered. Delivered earlier than expected. Absolutely delicious. And a bag of prawn crackers thrown in. Definitely recommend the chicken chow mein. 😊😊😊😊

Food is amazing just takes a while to arrive from less than a mile away

Absolutely lovely lady that took my order, fried rice was stodge, had to mash it with a fork to break it up, Crispy beef in ok sauce was so spicy was in edible, spare ribs were battered, who the hell batters spare ribs wtf.. beef chop suey was the only thing edible, and wasn't the best. Don't think we will be returning, £31 for a meal we didn't eat, just tasted, not happy

fabuloso menú de GF, después de ser diagnosticado celíaco honestamente pensé que comida china para llevar nunca iba a ser. ¡Cuando encontré este lugar y comí su comida me sorprendí! ENORME menú de GF y cero síntomas después de comer. Incluso cuestioné un plato y parecían tan conocedores de los ingredientes y la dieta GF que me impresionó! Definitivamente una joya escondida en el casco y sin duda voy a pedir una y otra vez en el futuro! Cabaña recomiendo suficiente

He estado usando esta comida para llevar durante muchos años y la comida siempre es buena, y a un precio razonable. El personal es amable y eficiente. Sin duda recomendaría.
