Prawn crackers delicious , starters of sesame prawn toast and spring rolls delicious, main course of sweet and sour pork Hong Kong style, chicken and pineapple with egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips absolutely amazing, will definitely recommend and return

Family group of 11booked last minute and experienced some fabulous dishes and recommend however do not be in a rush to eat or drink. The bar had problems with the gas for the beer and had no lemonade took sometime to get served but turns out the guy let his son go and celebrate his 18th and he was doing the cooking and serving! Worth the wait though. Very reasonable priced but I would recommend the restaurant go BYO.

Me and my partner had a shock when he found egg shells in his chicken omelette and his curry sauce was very salty . We will not be going back anytime soon.

Recently local to beeford this restaurant is the worst chinese takeaway experience I’ve had, overpriced and questionable portion sizes, blatantly refuse to answer the phone an hour before their closing time. Gave them multiple chances since moving here and every time being a disappointment. Hopefully swap owners for someone that can be bothered to do the job.

Staying nearby on holiday we have been here twice for takeaway this week. Probably the best Chinese I’ve had, fresh tasty , well priced and decent portions . Friendly staff too. Highly recommended.

Quite frankly, this is the worst Chinese I have ever had at 62 years old! Bland , boring; greasy And tasteless, obviously because it is the only takeaway in the small village they take advantage. Such a shame. Certainly expensive for what it is. We ate it because we’ve been very busy that day and we’re hungry. Certainly won’t be trying again as this is the second time.

Brilliant service, staff were really friendly. The food was great. The garlic salt and pepper ribs were so tasty and we will definitely be coming back again.

We arrived and we were the only customers in , Service was good,polite and helpful staff member. However the food was below parr, starters crispy wantons were greesy and lacked flavour ,we all had beef in various ways and it was tough,and chewy, one had Singapore beef lacked the spice it should have. Rice was not seasond lacked flavour. We all wanted banana fritters and was told no bananas, meal was not worth the price we paid ,will not be returning

The food was great. We had a variety of things to eat as I am difficult to pick. When I have Chinese, this is one of the best I have tasted.

Great evening out to the restaurant for family. Pick and mix foods order and we all share different taste. Well set out on table with spinner and help yourself dish. Great services and good value price ranges. Worth a visit. You also can do take away meals.

By far, the worst meal we've ever had! 8 adults and two children in our party, we opted for the banquet at £18+ pp. The starters were all deep fried and bland. There was a distinct taste of stale oil in everything. A long wait later, the mains arrived and the quality, presentation and taste were awful! The fried noodles dish resembled pot noodles that were deep fried and some good forsaken sauce and chicken thrown on top. The beef in black bean sauce was dreadful. Stale and underwhelming! The sweet and sour chicken tasted of stale frying oil, again. I won't go on to describe the rest of the meals but they were equally dreadful! The main reason for not complaining was that we had a great time as a family and I didn't want to spoil an evening of celebrating a birthday. Will we go again? Not 8n a million years!

Just had a take away from Great Wall in Beeford . For one the price of my food was a joke quarter roast duck , duck in plum sauce , portion of egg fried rice, chips , tub of gravy, can of Fanta I’m in skipsea less then a mile away £30.80 !!! Duck was disgusting and had what looked like a full pineapple in it more pineapple than duck ,no plum sauce ! The egg fried mush that was ment to be rice was well over cooked and tasteless ! Chips was dry probably from day before ! They even managed to give me dry cucumber I didn’t no that was possible “ everything tastes of prawn oil literally saturated in it even the gravy “ save your money and your stomach! By a country mile worst Chinese I’ve ever had .

We’ve been past this restaurant lots of times always saying we’ll give it a whirl, yesterday we tried it. Got there at 6.30, restaurant is totally empty but we were shown to a table by a very friendly waitress. We were given two menus and a rather grubby and sticky drinks menu…I’ve no idea why they bother with a drinks menu anyway as they admitted they’d very little in the way of alcohol free drinks - a tad strange as the restaurant is on a main road with a large car park so clearly they expect people to have driven there. We decided to have one of the set banquets for 2, which we agreed was very hit and miss. Out of the starters the prawn toast was awful, the ribs were unpleasant, no spring roll and we couldn’t work out what was in the won ton that was there instead (covered in sweet and sour sauce which had a nasty bitter flavour). The seaweed and salt and pepper chicken werelovely though. On to the rest of the meal, lovely crispy duck and beef in black bean sauce but we really didn’t enjoy the prawns in garlic and ginger and again the sweet and sour chicken had this truly nasty sauce. The two girls waiting on us seemed not to know what the other was doing but…they were polite and very nice. The restaurant seems to do a roaring take away trade but we were told during the week not many people eat in…. not a great surprise really. I don’t think we’d bother using them for a takeout and definitely won’t return for a sit down meal. It’s a shame as the restaurant enjoys a prominent roadside position with lots of potential trade from all the holiday parks in the area, wasted opportunity.
