I’d leave zero stars if I could. Me and my husband have ordered from this takeaway numerous times over the last year, and never had an issue until tonight. I bite into my spring roll and felt something sharp…had a look and the spring roll has metal spiralling throughout its entire contents! It’s very sharp and very hard! Ring up and were offered a replacement spring roll. You’ve got to be kidding. A refund is offered but when we go to Just Eat to claim that refund, they said it’s for a spring roll. Will be submitting a report to FSA.

Delivery a little long but we'll worth the wait the gravy and chips still amazing haven't had the food from there in almost 40 years+ but well done had tears rolling down my cheek because it took me back to my childhood days when my mam and dad was still with us Well done xxxxxx

Ordered online, came within the time said and the food was still hot, food tasted nice and large portions. Only problem was not a lot of curry sauce on the rice but overall it was all good.

Food was a disaster. Pork in black bean sauce was tough and couldn’t chew and the sauce was black, clumpy and viscous at the bottom whilst oily at the top. It was inedible. Service wasn’t great either, the delivery driver said doesn’t your phone work when it was dropped off yet I didn’t have a missed call from anyone. Wouldn’t recommend and will not use again

This is a takeaway. But you can also order for delivery. There is free on street parking but it is time limited during the day. Excellent public transport. Food consistently good hot and prepared to order quickly and efficiently. Waiting area but basic but not there long. Service a bit abrupt but hold your ground don't be rushed into ordering till you are sure of what you want.

Food was lovely cant complain but as for the delivery driver not been able to find my address shouting at me swearing at me and put the phone down then wen dropped food of told me to f off again i use this place regular and domt expect to be spoken to like that becouse of his error of not been able to find adress its a joke

Usually love this place but tonight the husband ordered food and the prawns in our egg fu yung were terrible. Tasted off and the food overall didn't seem upto the usual standards at all. I called to tell them about the prawns tasting vile and off, he did apologise in fairness but after speaking to the manager said if we called again we could get free food. To be honest it's put us off and a refund would have been more appreciated after spending almost £50. Its not like we haven't used them in the past. Very disappointed.

Usually can't fault this place but tonight the prawns in all three of our meals were disgusting we all ate some before realising it wasn't an odd one they were awful. Praying we don't get food poisoning as we are away tomorrow. Very disappointing and off putting as this was our favourite Chinese.

Salt and pepper mix box, soooo tasty and such a large amount. We went to pick up and was ready in 10minutes, cash only. We got the box for two and we could not finish it. Will definitely be ordering this again.

⚠️DO NOT ORDER⚠️ Waited an hour for my food for my chips to be raw and salt&pepper chicken be chicken balls. They was more onions and peppers than chicken and same with the chips. Rice tasted like it had been left out for days. Wouldn’t have one star if it was an option!

Ordered online last minute really and thought it was maybe too late. Food delivered in less than 15 minutes and was excellent. Salt and pepper mixed box , mixed meat chop suey , curry sauce and free bag of prawn crackers delivered for £23. Definitely using again !! All food piping hot and easily enough to feed 4 people !!

The only decent Chinese takeaway on spring bank. The food is great

Always get my Chinese from here never had a problem until recently the first time there was a hair in the rice didn’t think anything of it just thought it’s a one off until I ordered again and had hair in the rice again. Won’t be going back anymore and wouldn’t l recommend to anyone thinking of trying it.

Cancelled an item and they did not give me it but they also have not refunded me any of the money and it was £10 I have tried everything so I might have to go in to get the refund I have been waiting nearly 2/3 weeks for the refund…horrible staff

Very disappointed with my mixed starte ribs dry no sauce : satay sauce glue and tasteless . Would not purchase again

Visiting family in hull who recommended this Chinese and have to say was not disappointed. All dishes where just lovely, arrived on time too, we will definitely be ordering again (Shame you can’t deliver to York) if not we would order weekly 🤣.

Good was really nice and I just ordered it on the just eat app and went to pick it up 20 mins later, hot perfect tasting and good value 👍🏻

Delivered on time but could not eat the chicken balls as they was uncooked and still pink inside would not want to order from these again

Very disappointed with the food, that salty could not each it, chips had black bits in them, the rice egg fried rice was just rice and soy sauce. The chicken dish ordered had strips meat that didn't taste any thing, I feel that it's acceptable to just deliver food that throw in the bin..going to ring manager up and ask them for refund. The curry sauce was watery, never order from the establishment again..

I ordered a Singapore noodle and had fried rice (they added way too much dark soy sauce it made the rice sour). Food doesn’t really have any flavour and fortune cookies soggy. Not really up to my standard of good Chinese food sorry. Some of it was edible but really I just threw the rest in the bin unfortunately.

Recently discovered this place on Just Eat. Apart from the ribs which were bit small and gristly everything else has been spot on. Gorgeous food my new favourite Chinese.

Ordered for collection on Monday evening. Food was ready in under 10 mins. They only take cash so go to the ATM at Budgens down the road. I asked for no soy sauce and no salt and the food was perfect for us. Rice tasted great. The only fault was that the cashew nuts were a bit overcooked/burnt from frying. The actual shop seems very Covid secure with the Perspex panelling.

Having recently found this place on the just eat app I've ordered from them a few times already, the orders have been hot and on time with a good choice for the money, chicken balls can be a bit under cooked but food standards good.

Never bin so ill in my life .cant have been five mins before i started feeling ill threw the lot up and visited the fpr a number two at least ten times next day still dont feel right 24 hours later. My advice STAY AWAY!

Ordered through just eat, delivery time confirmed, 40 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered had to actually drive there only to be told that they were cooking my order then. I understand they seemed very busy but should have changed the delivery time. Food was good but not worth the whole effort.

Kept calling as food was late but phone taken off hook. An hour after food was supposed to be delivered my husband drove to see what was happening to be told that they hadn’t even started cooking the food. Will never return.

Ordered food at 8.00pm. Sat here at gone 10.00pm and still no food! Appalling customer service. Will never use again!

New to hull and ordered our first Chinese. It came exact when we wanted it to come, it was nice and hot and tasted amazing ! I normally get and upset tummy from Chinese but I didn't with this one so that's great! They also gave us 2 free extras as a thank you! Super impressed with them will definitely be our go to Chinese !!
