Absolutley fantastic homecooked chinese food . Lovely friendly family local business . The foo young and deep friend spring roles are unbelievable, personal favorite. Great value for money, definitely my go to Chinese takeaway. Thankyou rainbow palace

So disappointing. Waited 30 mins for our order - thought ok, atleast it will be nice & fresh. It was barely warm. The batter on chicken balls super soggy & slid off! The BBQ ribs had next to no meat on them! Beef chow mein basically looked like a tonne of gravy with a few scraggly bits of meat thrown into it. I don’t normally leave reviews, especially not a bad one, but I was genuinely so disappointed. Also missed item from order. I’ve seen many leave positive reviews so not sure what happened, but I for sure won’t be returning or recommending.

Best Chinese takeaway in Hull. Been a loyal customer for 20 years. Really lovely food and the service is superb. Family run restaurant with really friendly, kind owners

I have had some great meals here. In particular ...King Prawn Satay starter...prawns are excellent! The Pancake rolls are big and tasty .....special foo yeung was superb....and the Chow Mein also really nice !

Probably the worst chinese takeaway I have had .The roast duck chow mein was like stewed duck .Sorry to say it went in the bin .

Absolutely amazing. You can tell that all the food us homemade and it tasted fenomenal. Only downside is that some things were a bit greasy but otherwise best Chinese I've had in a long time!

Awful Chinese. It's a shame because I wanted to support business near me. I ordered a Spring Roll (the large meat ones) and then Chicken Fried Rice a few months ago at the end of the 1st lockdown. The spring roll was truly a sight to behold, covered in fish-shop-style fried batter. I have never in my life seen a spring roll like that. They're usually just in a Chinese-style pancake. Biting into it at first seemed okay, it looked well filled with meat and veg, but after another couple of bites, all I could taste was grease. I moved on to the chicken fried rice, again, all I could taste was the oil or grease that it had been cooked in. I couldn't even salvage the bits of chicken. I've never left a takeaway unfinished, even if it's been disappointing. But this one went straight in the bin, I'm glad I didnt pay a lot for it. Apart from the cheap price, I'd say the only real positive was the speedy delivery. I didn't particularly enjoy writing this as the delivery man was friendly and the staff in the shop seemed nice too when I popped in for a menu.

Not good at all. We ordered a chicken curry tonight and it tasted disgustingly sour!! The chicken fried rice and noodles had no taste at all. Will not be ordering from here again.

Maybe should go to wing Hing to learn how to cook. Never again will order from here. Burnt spring roll HOW!!. Special curry nothing special. Very disappointed. 😬

I’m not usually one to write a review but I just couldn’t not! Firstly the food turned up half an hour late, the order which was delivered was completely wrong and I then found 2 large bones in my unattractive meal shown in the pictures shown below which I almost chocked on can I add! When we contacted the Chinese they wasn’t interested. I would not recommend this Chinese, very disappointing😷😡

Staying closeby and did want to lose our parking space outside our apartment so decided to get a takeaway. It was scored at 4.7 on another site, out of 5 so decided to go here. They use genetically modified soya oil to cook their food as it was very noticable with the prawn crackers. We ordered about 6 dishes but it was confusing as it appeared to include rice or chips which we did not want. The quality of the food was average and there was lots left over. Shame as the lady who served us was very pleasant.

Tasty meal, decent portions at decent prices. It is a family run takeaway that has been here for decades and we are never disappointed!

Got gravy and chips..will never order again because my partner almost swallowed a hair, he pulled it out it was like that scene from only fools and horses where they find the hair in thr porridge. .yuk disgusting!!
