Have ordered takeaway from here on many occasions and always been happy Ordered one tonight 25/11/23 a prawn curry, a beef curry and egg fried rice + veg spring rolls The food all of it was delivered almost stone cold, the prawn curry sauce was watery and my wife picked out 3 prawns which still had the vein (digestive tract) attached which meant they had not been cleaned properly. Rang to let them know and was told the prawns are supplied like that and nothing could be done about it. I told them they should make sure the prawns are clean and was told not to order the prawn curry again. No apology for the cold food or sub standard meals. As I said we have used this take away for a long time without issue but the standard has definitely gone down Sorry but will never order from here again

Ordered deep fried shredded chicken but never seen it disguised as a sliced chicken burger in sweet & sour sauce……. Won’t be ordering again thanks!!

I’ve had a couple of take outs from here now and they pretty much look all the same glowing red colour. I don’t mind that really, but it tastes sweeter than other dishes I’ve had from other places. I usually love getting a tub of sweet and sour sauce on the side when I get my take outs but the one from here is probably the worst I’ve tried. I also kept pulling hairs out of my dish. Sort of looked like hairs that had come off an acrylic jumper of some sort. I pulled out at least 4. I was starving, and I didn’t want to waste food, so ate most of it. I won’t be ordering from here again. Don’t want to risk more hairy bland food.

used this place weekly for over 10 years. Excellent quality meal at decent prices. Highly recommended.

Order came wrong and poor food. Burnt chips ,8 mini rolls instead of big bad boy rolls and Tesco value gravy not Chinese, never return again . Did eat the lot but I have had 8 pints.

Nice food but 10 inch long blonde hair in my ommelett. Rang and the lady said she had long bleached hair but hadnt been in the kitchen, really. Didn't want a refund or any free meal but basic hygiene please.

Potentially the Best Chinese Take Away in Yorkshire! Well in our opinion anyway! This has always been the go to take away for our family as we can't fault the service or quality of the food.

This is our local Chinese and it's fabulous. Food us always fresh hot and on time. The staff are friendly and would recommend it

Been getting takeaway meals and deliveries from Golden Crown for over 35 years There's always a really good choice of menu and home deliveries are always prompt and food still hot 😉🍴

We use this takeaway when we fancy a Chinese meal, the food is of a good standard with quick polite service and good size portions.

We have been ordering from here for years and can honestly say its one of the few takeaways that constantly gets the orders correct and the taste is always consistent. It never takes a long time for the food to be delivered and arrives hot. If you ever an issue with the food if you tell them they always make sure to correct it straight away. It is fabulous!!
